They came in the first time and cleaned very well and I thought the smell was gone. But everyone knows how well puppies are at stinking stuff up, over the week a small hint of smell came back. I called the office right away and they sent someone out the same week to come take care of all of my issues! I didn't have to pay a cent more! The only reason they don't have 5 stars is because I did pay a lot more then the advertised price online. In the end it was worth it!

I made the appointment a month in advance over the phone. When the day came, my cleaner did not. I called a few times with no response, after checking their facebook and twitter accounts, I learned that they were closed that day (election day) but I did have an appointment. I was contacted back after messaging them on twitter and Facebook and after apologies about the mix-up and a promise of a free hour of cleaning, they arrived the next morning before all my guests arrived. They arrived without cleaning products (which they then left to buy at a nearby store) and were a few minutes late (which when you are at the start of wedding festivities can be quite stressful). Cleaning took about 2 hours and he did a wonderful job and was very friendly. The actual cleanliness of the house was 5 star. The cleaner did a very thorough job and even wiped off baseboards and windowsills, things I usually forget. The ceiling fans were dusted and the floors mopped. I would use this company again and hope that the appointment process will be smoother next time, and that they arrive with supplies ready to go.

I hired Magic Upholstery to paint and recover 6 chairs and a dining table. Linda Nguyen quoted me…read moreone price and then increased it before the work began, I agreed. Once the work was completed and the furniture delivered I immediately noticed that the paint would rub off anywhere it is touched. I spoke with and was told that the issue was because I requested a matte finish. I asked to see the paint used and was shocked to see that they used Valspar flat wall paint from Lowe's. I contacted Valspar and was told that this product is not recommended for furniture application but they do make a matte finish paint for furniture. I called Linda and explained this to her but she would not accept any responsibility. I requested a refund for the paint work or for them to repaint with the correct materials because I am very unhappy. She has refused! I would not recommend this business to anyone, they do not stand behind their work and they use cheap substandard products!

What a fantastic company!…read more Recently, I needed my 16 year old sofa partially reupholstered and I also needed the reclining function fixed on one side. The owner came to the house, looked at the sofa, assessed what needed to be done and made the arrangements for the sofa to be picked up so that they could work their "magic". After a little over a week, my sofa was ready and in excellent, like-new condition! Not only did they reupholster two cushions and fix the recliner, but they also added necessary padding to certain cushions as well as the arm rest. The sofa has never looked better and I couldn't be happier with the results! I would highly recommend this company for their great communication, excellent service and good pricing.

After hours and hours of researching moving companies for my relocation from New Orleans to…read moreHouston, and reading horror stories about even some of the more well-known and highly rated national companies, and their responses, which all took pains to point out that there was bound to a few disgruntled clients, I found ADmovers and after a call to them, in which they gave acceptable answers to key questions: 'They themselves do the moving; they are not a broker; guaranteed next day unloading in Houston(barring acceptable unforseen circumstances) -no warehousing of our stuff for weeks before delivery - one flat fee once the assessment of the cost of the move has been made (no jacking up of the price when half the stuff has been loaded, etc,) The were very professional in all aspects of the process but on top of that they displayed a courtesy and just plain kindness towards two septuagenarians by accommadating some requests which were outside of their remit. They dismantled, transported and re-assembled our furniture without any breakage, marring or loss, (the destination was a 2-storey house and our bedroom furniture is heavy solid mahogany.
