Great product great packaging and fantastic price on the low profile tapping head that no one else in the country had and at a price that would put all the others to shame! Definitely recommend! read more

Refilled my CO2 for my soda machine. Good people. Keep driving back behind building. read more

Great recipes and friendly staff. They have just about everything you need and they can help customize your own brews. I can't wait until my current batch is done so I can go back. read more

Great selection, best I have found in Northern Colorado. Reasonable pricing and great service.

New to spirit distilling and have been having a rough time maintaining temp in my fermenter. In last week buying grain and the gentleman at the counter suggested a simple temp control...and that piece of equipment has been a game changer for me. Great place!! read more

I just discovered this place on Yelp, they were open on Sunday and not far from my house. I was even more surprised after I arrived. I was welcomed and asked if I had any questions. They were very helpful and had exactly what I was looking for. The prices were very fair. I was very impressed with the grain room and they had a great selection of anything that could be used in wine or beer making. Its a great find that I'm very happy with. I will be back. read more

Great stock, knowledgeable and friendly staff, great prices - the hour drive there was well worth it!

This is the very best Homebrew Shop in the area! I drive down from Fort Collins to get my supplies here. They have a great selection of everything you might need and the staff is always friendly and helpful. The hops and the yeast each have a walk-in cooler, I can buy my grain in bulk because they have plenty in stock and the carry all the equipment options you would typically need. The last time I was there they had a batch brewing in the back, using the Anvil Foundry and we got to chat about the system and compare stories about different brewing ideas. If you are a new brewer or have been brewing for a long time, give this shop a stop and you won't be disappointed. I love coming here and the drive is well worth it. In these days, customer service is king and they do it right here. read more

With home-brew shops closing left and right recently, I finally found a home-brew shop that is close by, has an excellent selection, and very knowledgable and attentive staff. We got some help picking out ingredients for our batch of beer and some supplies to complete our home-brew set up. I highly recommend! read more

Great prices and products! True curbside pick up during Covid! Thank you! #supportsmallbusiness

The Grainfather brewing system is PERFECT for those wanting to stick to 5 gal batches and is cheaper in the long run than putting together your own burner, kettle, mash tun setup. I transitioned to this system from a high end three tier system and couldn't be happier. Below are my favorite attributes about this system. - Incredibly easy to setup, tear down and clean; making me enjoy the brewing process all over again - The connect system automizes the brewing process allowing me to replicate beers more accurately - The footprint of this system is much smaller, freeing up room in may garage and organizing my brewing equipment - Because this system is electric and controlled by my phone, it allow me to do other things during the brewing process Thanks again for beating the online prices for this system and taking the time to explain to me how to use it! These guys are hard working and their customer service is top notch! For months I have been going back and forth with a particular company on an EXPENSIVE piece of equipment that was faulty. They just brushed me off to the place I bought it at. Without wanting to be a pain, I stopped in and explained my situation to them. Within an hour I had a response from them and a solution as well! With in THREE business days, I had a brand new unit and no difficulty as well. This is not my LOCAL homebrew shop, it is a bit further than most for me. Well, they are worth the trip and I will support them 100% from now on. Thanks guys, you know how to make a picky customer happy and help me and my lack of brewing knowledge when I come in. Cheers! This shop has it all. Their yeast, grain and equipment selection is excellent. It is a very rare occasion to come to Quirky and not find what you need. The staff is friendly and knowledgable and does not put off the all to common "brewer arrogance" when asked for help (even with some pretty stupid questions). Bulk prices for bags of grain and pounds of hops reduce the cost of brewing by 30-45%. Need a special yeast? They carry at least 6 brands-- including Omega and Inland Island, Gigayeast and a large selection of dry yeasts. After shopping at several stores in the area, this one is certainly my go-to. read more

This store is an easy 5 stars. I have shopped at 5 homebrew stores in the metro area, including this one, and this is easily the best I've been to. They have a great selection of EVERYTHING, including equipment. I feel like some places don't stock much of the bigger brewing equipment, but they even stock things like ph meters, which most places don't seem to have. I was looking for phosphoric acid and called multiple stores, including in Boulder County area and Denver, and this was the only place that had it. They also have a massive hop selection with a walk-in freezer. Never seen that...awesome! Also a great yeast selection. If you're looking for an obscure hop or yeast, chances are they have it. Best selection I've seen compared to other stores. Their grain selection is massive, and have a good variety of beer and wine kits. To top it off, great customer service. All of the staff are super helpful. Most importantly for the customer, they have GREAT prices. Better than other shops in the area. Although I have other shops a little closer to me, it's worth the trip for me. So to recap...great prices, great selection, great customer service...that's about all you need. Cheers. read more

Alex, Phil, Thomas are all awesome! Super helpful, and being home brewers themselves, they are able to answer all of your questions with a smile. This is my go to homebrew store! they have everything you need so no need to order anything online ever again! Great selection of yeast, hops, grains... You can mill your own grains.... I have nothing negative to say about this place! probably not the ideal location but no biggie.... More of a pain for the guys having to give directions to all the new folks! read more

I don't shop quirky very often because I live in South/East Aurora. I was looking for an omega lacto souring blend which no one in Colorado had not even quirky at the time I was looking. The guy said we'll order you some in and call you when it shows up. I thought he was yanking my chain but to my surprise 4 days later he he called and not only ordered my one package but 7 total in which I bought 6. I might not shop here as much as I do the closer shops to my house but I must say I was very impressed with these guys. I will make it to quirky when I'm out that way to help support not only the great shops by me but these guys as well. If you need a shop you'll never go wrong with these guys they're top notch. These guys are about being the best and it definitely shows read more

Starting to get away from the kit beers. Came here for my ingredients. The guys there walked me thru the grain room. Tasting what I was picking, really great. Looking forward to their Saturday classes. Not the closest store, but definitely the best. read more

I'd give 10 stars if I could. All I have to say is DAAAAAMN!!!!! Insane selection of grains, hops, and everything else homebrew. Took me almost 30 minutes to figure out which black malt I wanted to use for my porter. I'm used to having 1 or 2 choices, he had 6 or more of just the black malt. Hops, hops, and more hops. He has a great selection of just about everything there is, and is working to secure everything he hasn't been able to yet order. Greg was also amazing. I spent 2 hours spinning in circles and chatting about beer. I love there's truly a one stop shop for homebrew supplies locally that definitely is competitive with even the internet. This is definitely my new go-to store for all my homebrew needs. Pros -grains and more grains, over 100 varieties currently -hops and more hops -adjuncts and spices out the wahoo -beer equipment I've never seen elsewhere -if you want something, ask and he will see what he can get, and will call once he has an answer (less than 24 hours from when I inquired about hops) -Greg is a great guy and passionate about his craft Cons -none Really made my head spin, and body. Sorry about wearing that hole while I drooled and gawked at the grains. If you have not gone to this place, GO! NOW! Or when he opens again. read more

Has everything for brewing beer and wine making. Very well-stocked. Owner is knowledgeable and eager to help customers.

Greg and Cesna are extremely knowledgeble, helpful, and polite. His prices are just as good as internet pricing, and a good stock of supplies. Great place to go if your just starting. read more

Quirky's has everything I need at a fair price and the friendly staff is always happy to help.

More grain and yeast choices than any other place. I didn't even know there were so many saison yeast strains. You also have to check out the hop smelling station. read more

Amazing selection of grains! So many to choose from. It is nice to go to a Homebrew store and have multiple brands of a particular grain to choose from and not have to find a less ideal substitute for my recipe. Wide selection of hops, also. He has a hop smelling station, which has given me a few ideas for future brews. Owner is friendly, enthusiastic, and helpful. read more

This is hands down the best homebrew shop in the metro area. The owner is always there and super helpful. Prices are better than every other store and if you need something not in stock they will get it for you. I needed 4pk holders and they spent 2 weeks finding them for me. This is the perfect store for any one from beginner to pro. Their grain room is huge and growing all the time, they also have a huge discount for 50lb sacks. If you go to Quirky you will never want to go to another homebrew store. read more

A WALK-IN HOP FRIDGE! Need I say more? But really, the staff here is extremely laid back and more than helpful. This was my first visit and I got a very warm welcome and a quick tour of the shop. The grain room is very well laid out, there is a wide yeast selection, and the hops fridge is great. I browsed most of the beer making equipment and the price was 30-50% lower than the shop I bought from years ago. I can't say enough about the selection and prices. The motto is along the lines of "Internet selection at internet pricing" and it is spot on. I stopped by during what I would consider an 'off hour' and they had people coming and going. Just a tip to find them... drive to the far end of the lot where it wraps around to the north and its right next to Stanley Steamer. I drove around a number of lots before I found them. I will be back many, many more times. read more

Just called Quirky Homebrew to order my son who is moving to Denver in a couple of months a gift card. Phil was a customer service dream. I know zero about home brew or Denver but know my son is into it and wanted to get him something for his birthday before he moves out there. Actually called CO Brew and asked them to do the same and the guy answering said no. I said I can't convince you to mail me a gift card? He said nope. I was floored. I'm SO happy he said no. Clearly Quirky Homebrew is the place. Thanks Phil! read more

QHBS is awesome! Great customer service, selection, prices and all around good vibes. Super glad to have them so close by.

Best customer service our of all the brewing shops. Best prices out of all the brewing shops from including Aurora, Denver, and Boulder

Best selection, prices, and staff I've found anywhere around. Told me they'll match online prices too. Walk in hop fridge, bulk pricing on everything, great equipment selection. Really the best HBC around read more

I've been home brewing awhile and seen plenty of shops. Quirky is the best I've ever been to, honestly. Outstanding selection of EVERYTHING...and if Greg doesn't carry it he can and will order it for you. They have walk-in just for hops! Huge yeast selection, including a lot of the Inland Island strains coming out of Denver. Try the Quirky Yeast Blend, it's a fantastic dry English blend and gives me about 80% ADF. Huge selection of grain as well. And best part is that their prices are top notch and will match all the big online stores. And they get the hookup on new Five Star products...like a phos acid and beer stone remover that aren't released widely yet. read more

Great addition to the home-brew scene! It is not the selection of grains and yeast (although it is huge), but the knowledge of the owners that set Quirky's apart. The whole store is designed to help a home-brewer. You can smell the hops, taste the grain, and ask questions with confidence you will get an informed response before you have even spent a penny. Great for a novice or a brewmaster. read more

All I can say is these guys are the best!...friendly and knowledgable owners, great selection and great prices..my go to homebrew store...
