    If I could give this company zero stars I would. Typically, I try and limit my reviews to those…read morethat are more positive, but this company moved me to warn others. Pros, nice job upholstering two pillows. Cons, VERY expensive and took 2 months. But here's the bigger story. When I picked a fabric, Joel said it would be at least 10 weeks. I was fine with that, and made a calendar reminder to call him at 10 weeks for status. At 10 weeks I made a friendly call to check in, and he said it was going to be a couple more weeks. I was fine with that, too. But then for some reason things start to go sideways. He goes on to say "I TOLD you it was going to be 12 weeks, and that's what the contract terms were that YOU signed." I was a bit taken aback with the tone. I didn't argue. I did remind him that he had told me 10 weeks, but that it was okay because I was leaving town and there was no rush. So 2 weeks go by, Joel calls and tells me they are ready for pick up. Great. So far, so good. I tell him I'll be there on Friday. Friday I totally forgot to pick them up due to family issues and trying to leave town, and my bad for not calling him to change the pick up date. I felt awful about it. On Tuesday he calls me and starts screaming at me - I am not exaggerating - screaming that I was supposed to pick up the pillows, I need to pick them up immediately or have someone get them for me, he charges $20 per day for "storage" fees, and after "you calling repeatedly and bugging me the least you could do was pick them up on time." Things were escalating and I asked if he was kidding, and perhaps he had me mixed me up with another customer, as I had only called once and it had been a friendly chat. I apologized for not calling him on Friday to pick them up. He insisted that I had called repeatedly and bugged him "I even have your recorded messages!!!!" He kept interrupting me "now you listen to me!" he said. He was clearly out of control, so I told him I would pick up the pillows on Thursday and hung up. I got the pillows as promised on Thursday and he tried to make small talk. No contrition. No apology. Just acted like it hadn't happened. I would recommend you find someone else to help you with your upholstery needs who doesn't have anger management issues. Someone who will not charge you over $600 for two small pillows and then go off on you.

He was timely in his response to my inquiries as well as getting my chair back to me within the discussed time frame. He did a beautiful upholstery job that exceeded my expectations. I was very impressed by his workmanship. It was a wonderful experience all the way around. I would definitely recommend him to friends and family in the future.
