Open until 10pm you probably won't find a later opening pharmacy in the area, and because of it's location on O'Connell Street near O'Connell Bridge you would find yourself passing it reasonably often. Location brings other things too, like the constant feeling that the security people are going to jump you if you move too close to anything in the shop! And price are a little higher than the more suburban pharmacies, but I guess you can't complain when the location and opening hours probably make that necessary.

The chemist behind the counter is quite helpful, recommending what medication and products to take over others. Hickey's stocks basic cosmetic and beauty products so if you need hair spray or concealer in a pinch, you can find it here. One more thing worth mentioning is that it has a digital photo machine that prints and does enlargements.

The guy here was not only unhelpful but gave me terrible advice to go to a&e or get the oncall doctor to call out and get a or prescription. He could of helped out but didn't want to and was trying to say no pharmacy would help.
