Background: We have gone to the big chains (mostly Sport Clips) for a while, but I had been wanting to find a local small business to support. I'm glad we gave this one a try. Lisa has two new regular customers. My impression: The atmosphere is nice, the conversation is easy, and the price is reasonable. Simple price structure on the wall. $20 per haircut (cash only--no credit cards). Comfortable chair. TL;DR: Lisa takes her time and does a great job. A+

We waited about 10 minutes for her to wrap up so it wasn't too bad. My son enjoyed the experience (his second salon cut) and was totally admiring himself in the mirror. Melody has kiddos herself, so she was great with him! She was also friendly and conversational with me. The appointment was no more than 20 minutes, and ended with a dum-dum. The cut was also reasonably priced. The space is also well kept and clean. Definitely recommend bringing your little one here! I have yet to try any other services here but they definitely stay busy. Two customers walked in right as we were finishing up.

So after years of wandering the earth like Caine from Kung Fu in search of the perfect haircut, I stumbled upon Tammy at Luxe Hair Studio a couple of years ago. Now instead of getting comments like "Oh, you got a haircut", I actually get post-haircut compliments. And that minor miracle alone is worthy of a 5 star rating. Besides getting a killer haircut, I like going to Luxe because: * setting an appointment is easy peasy, just go online and book a time that fits into my schedule * Tammy does a great job of staying on schedule, so she is ready for me at the designated appointment time * the pre-cut shoulder massage and gratis beverages are nice added perks * the cost for a men's haircut is a very reasonable $25 So my wanderings for the perfect haircut are now over and thanks to Luxe, I didn't have to adopt Caine's shaved dome as my new hairstyle.
