She allows bullying at the studio and on the team and never addresses it directly unless it starts to impact her bottom line . She humiliates the kids on the team if they miss a step in front of peers and makes it seem they were disrespectful when they respond . You pay a large amount of money for your kids to be on her competition team for your child not to be developed or trained properly. I know this now because we have moved to another competitive team and now I see what real development is . Beware of this studio !

The worst is that there is no place to sit, which makes it difficult to see the dance performance. The benches are not accessible because parents block space by placing their children's shoes and backpacks on the benches which makes impossible to find a place to sit. (Shoes on a bench..... really?) The management could care less about maintaining order, children are allowed to run all over and they often fall down off the ramp located next to the step. The facility is poorly ventilated and panoply are allowed to block the 1 and only floor fan. To cancel you have to observe policy which is not made available for future reference.

Your child will be subject to massive bullying from the managers, instructors and the dance mom mafia and their children. If your child has any type of disability this is not the studio for them, they don't accommodate and they have zero empathy and compassion. The dance mom mafia will sit and gossip about other moms, they are like coyotes; one minute they smile and the next they are trying to get your child kicked out of classes and teams. If your child has confidence please take them somewhere that will help them grow and not break them down. The children here are enabled to pick on the vulnerable, some of the instructors are the same way, they do nothing to stop it. They used to record classes but do not any longer because then there is proof of this behavior, instead they have one's word against another and if your child is the one they target he or she is the one they blame. If you love and value your kids think twice. I love mine and value their mental health so we left, two years of bullying is too much, numerous complaints fell on deaf ears. They won't give the time of day for the child that's being picked on to explain anything, they just accept the gang up from the others and accept all the lies and for that they are unforgivable. I say this because kids are little people who deserve just as much respect and understanding and communication as adults do. When my child had an accident her teacher comforted her and positively and showed her so much empathy. I mean this was only her first time being around her. Wow! This is the type of establishment that deserves our hard earned dollars. My little person felt so reassured and comfortable with her teacher. If this isn't enough, let me tell you about their loaner area. If you for some reason need to borrow shoes because of finances or your child forgot theirs... they have an area dedicated to this and you can donate your little ones shoes that no longer fit them. THAT to me is just HEARTWARMING. This place is a complete gem and I am so glad I didn't go with other studios we tried. Omg I almost forgot, to try a class, guess how much the fee is (since every place is pretty much charging now), it's $0. That's how it should be. With their gentle guidance and thoughtful teaching, we slowly gained confidence--mastering the dips, spins, and even the lift in perfect time with the music. Over the course of 10 one-hour sessions (and lots of practice at home!), we watched our simple dream of a first dance transform into something magical. Every class/event hosted by this group of wonderful people has left me smiling and encouraged to come back, I am extremely grateful to get to experience their dance community. -Courses- The instructors do a great job of breaking down the basics, details of special moves and are eager for any questions about the very cool combinations they teach in each lesson so that everyone has a good time learning that night's piece of choreography. If you are truly beginner-friendly, instructors should create a supportive atmosphere instead of making people feel judged for not already knowing studio expectations. Unfortunately, I left feeling discouraged rather than encouraged. I've had much better experiences at LUMIX, where the environment feels welcoming, supportive, and genuinely inclusive for all levels.
