Your child will be subject to massive bullying from the managers, instructors and the dance mom mafia and their children. If your child has any type of disability this is not the studio for them, they don't accommodate and they have zero empathy and compassion. The dance mom mafia will sit and gossip about other moms, they are like coyotes; one minute they smile and the next they are trying to get your child kicked out of classes and teams. If your child has confidence please take them somewhere that will help them grow and not break them down. The children here are enabled to pick on the vulnerable, some of the instructors are the same way, they do nothing to stop it. They used to record classes but do not any longer because then there is proof of this behavior, instead they have one's word against another and if your child is the one they target he or she is the one they blame. If you love and value your kids think twice. I love mine and value their mental health so we left, two years of bullying is too much, numerous complaints fell on deaf ears. They won't give the time of day for the child that's being picked on to explain anything, they just accept the gang up from the others and accept all the lies and for that they are unforgivable. Lauren the owner only pays attention to the kids whose families have been with her for years . Those are the kids that she develops and works with . She allows bullying at the studio and on the team and never addresses it directly unless it starts to impact her bottom line . She humiliates the kids on the team if they miss a step in front of peers and makes it seem they were disrespectful when they respond . You pay a large amount of money for your kids to be on her competition team for your child not to be developed or trained properly. After scanning my ticket, she immediately forgot and demanded to see it again, then abruptly yelled at me to stop as if I hadn't gone through proper procedures. When I reminded her that she had just scanned my ticket, she simply said, "Oh," without any apology or acknowledgment of her mistake. Her poor memory and lack of professionalism raise concerns about whether she should be in this role--or if her behavior was influenced by bias. Either way, the staff should be trained to communicate more effectively and treat all guests with respect.

I only used the locker room, pool, and showers, so that's all I can comment on. First off, the pool was perfect. There were only a few guys using the hot tub, so I had the pool to myself. Swam 10 laps and called it good. The pool was clean, enough chlorine for me to know it was clean, but not SO MUCH that I thought I'd be sick. Went to the locker room and yes, there naked men (shocker) but in case you are reading this review and wondering if you would encounter a naked man in the male locker room, I figured I'd be honest. The locker room was pretty clean, they had recently mopped and all the benches were clear of debris. The first locker I opened had some powdery stuff in the bottom. Not powdery like drugs, but it looked more like someone me protein powder had spilled. I opened a second locker and it was spotless. The shower was a bit disappointing. They were private stalls with doors and even a little cubby area to put your soaps and what not. But no shower head. I wasn't expecting some 5 star resort quality shower head pry thing. But I also wasn't expecting just a pipe stilling out through the wall. The temperature was fine. Warm enough to call "hot water" but no where close to a "HOT" shower. And because it was just a pipe, imagine taking a shower with someone just holding a hose on 3/4 power above your head. Made it a little difficult to really wash the chlorine out of my hair and beard. That's it. Overall I'm happy that I found a place that I can go any time (especially before work) and get my exercise in. Showers could use an upgrade.

Plenty of parking on the lot…read more Came on a weekday night with a 3 day guest pass card given by a friend who's a member. Filled out the information online and drove to this 24 Hour Fitness. When I entered, there were four female and one male staff at the front desk. The four female staff were talking among each other. I asked the male staff for assistance. He made eye contact and asked if I needed help. Told him I signed up for the 3-Day Pass online. He asked one of the female staff to assist me. She took my ID and put a whole bunch of my information in the computer, then told me I don't qualify for the guest pass because I was a prior member. I informed her I was member over ten years ago. She told me I could sign up for a day pass for $25 or sign up for a discounted membership. Why would I sign up for a membership without trying this gym out, especially if it's my first time at this location? Asked her what information she put in the system to know I'm a prior member. She said she put in my name and birthday. She definitely put in more information than that in the system. Not sure if she really found me in the system or just wanted to take my information and denied me access. Not sure how honest the staff or company is. Didn't like being ignored, especially when there were so many staff in the front desk chit chatting. Did not feel welcome here at all.

If your family has a stay-at-home parent who is able to completely adjust their schedule at a moment's notice, this is a great program. If it's difficult to adjust to picking up your kids an hour earlier than normal and transporting them to a location 10 minutes away with only a day's notification that you will need to do that... well, this might not be the best bet for you. And I'm not holding my breath that I'll either see a costume or get my money back for that costume fee I paid eight months ago either.

Today was the final day of my BSN program, and I am incredibly thankful. Finishing this chapter…read morealso made me reflect on an experience I had with Career Care Institute. I originally completed my LVN program at Career Care Institute and graduated at the top of my class. Years later, during a very difficult period in my life, I decided to return to school and continue advancing my education. Because I had previously done well at CCI and had also completed nearly an entire RN program elsewhere, I returned to CCI hoping to transition into their RN program. Unfortunately, my experience the second time around was very different. One of the most disappointing moments was hearing a nursing leader speak negatively about admitting LVNs into the program. As an LVN who had already successfully completed this school's own nursing program, it was incredibly belittling to hear LVNs discussed as though our education and experience somehow made us less capable of becoming RNs. I was given the opportunity to test into the program through expensive challenge exams. After passing one exam, I paid another $500 for the next. That exam was disproportionately concentrated on HIV and HIV pharmacology, and I did not achieve the required score. The testing system then allowed me to reopen the exam without showing me the correct answers. I changed some answers to see whether my alternate choices would have resulted in a passing score, and they did. Instead of asking me what happened, I was accused of cheating and efforts were made to prevent me from entering the program. That experience stayed with me. I felt that assumptions were made about my character and abilities without anyone first trying to understand my intent. I also felt that my status as an LVN was viewed negatively rather than as the nursing foundation that it was. Ironically, I am now grateful that things happened the way they did. Being turned away pushed me toward another nursing program, where I met instructors who encouraged growth rather than gatekeeping. I learned about concepts such as ethnocentrism and even heard nursing instructors openly discuss the culture of "nurses eating their young" and why our profession needs to move away from it. Those experiences helped shape the kind of nurse I want to be. And today, I finished my BSN. So my criticism of Career Care Institute is not coming from someone who could not succeed in nursing school. I succeeded there before, I succeeded after leaving there, and I continued advancing my education. My criticism is about how students are treated along the way. Nursing education should challenge students academically without belittling them, stereotyping them, or making assumptions about their character. Educators have tremendous influence over future nurses, and with that authority should come fairness, self-awareness, and a willingness to ask questions before passing judgment. I hope the school reflects on that, because sometimes the student you underestimate is simply going to take another road to get exactly where they were trying to go.
