I recommend this day care to anyone and everyone! They are…read moreso patient and kind and help develop confidence and independence. I was so sad to go when transitioning to 1st grade. Everyone will be missed! Everyone has the bests energy 24/7 and truly loved my son with everything they had!!

If I could give this daycare ZERO stars, I absolutely would. Parents, stay away…read more This place completely changed my view of what a daycare should be. The teachers came across as rude, impatient, and completely lacking the warmth and patience that toddlers need. It felt like they wanted quiet, easy children who wouldn't "bother" them rather than understanding that toddlers are toddlers. The classrooms were also incredibly boring and lacked the kind of engaging, stimulating environment I would expect for young children. But the way they handled my 2-year-old was the final straw. I was told that my child "hit" the teacher. After watching the camera footage myself, that description was extremely misleading. My son tried to climb onto the toy kitchen. The teacher tried to pull him down, he became frustrated, swung his hands in her direction, and then immediately ended up on the floor crying. What did the teacher do? Comfort him? Help him regulate? Redirect him calmly? No. She contacted administration to report the incident. We are talking about a TWO-YEAR-OLD who became frustrated and was crying. If a teacher is so intimidated by normal toddler behavior that her first response is to report the child rather than comfort and redirect him, I seriously question whether she should be working with toddlers. Children this age need adults who understand development and know how to handle big emotions--not adults who seem annoyed by them. The whole experience made me feel that my child was being treated like a miniature adult who was expected to behave perfectly and never be difficult. That is not what I expect from a daycare. I would not trust this daycare with my child again, and based on my experience, I would strongly encourage other parents to look elsewhere.

We cannot say enough good things about Ms. Nilu and her school. Our oldest is now in first grade…read moreand he is so advanced for his class; could have easily skipped a year in school. He has been reading since age 4 (fluently and reading full books by age 5), and is incredibly advanced in math (he is doing multiplication and division while his peers are learning basic addition in class). His current teacher encouraged us to keep challenging him with math problems at home so he won't get bored. We have Ms. Nilu to thank for that! She not only provides the right foundation, but makes learning fun for the kids in her class. Our 3 year old is now following his brother's footsteps and already learning very fast. She is loving and caring with all her kids, and knows how to handle toddlers' behaviors with patience, appropriate discipline, and affection. Our kids live her. We are so grateful we found her.

When my oldest son started going to The Learning Tree Montessori Preschool we met a parent who all…read moreher three boys had attended the preschool. She told us that when the boys were going here, her husband had received a job offer in a different State and turned it down because of the education and foundation the boys were getting at The Learning Tree. This definitely grabbed my attention and I came to appreciate this even more as I saw how well my son was doing. She went to tell us her boys were now excelling in school and had all skipped grades due to being very advanced for their age. My oldest has followed these same footsteps and is excelling in school. And he also skipped a grade. Our 2 other kids are currently enrolled and are doing extremely well. Mrs Nilu has a very structured system, builds an extremely valuable educational foundation in the kids, cares deeply about them and providesa safe and very clean environment. Every so often on Saturday or Sunday my daughter will get upset that she can't go to Mrs Nilu's!
