They are neglectful & don't watch the children properly here. My son got a lot of bruises attending this facility & when he defended himself he was suspended for the day which I learned is against the law to suspend a toddler. When the other children were hurting my son they never sent them home. The picture in the upper right hand corner is a bruise mark on my son's chest that I believe was left by an adult. When my son was hurting they would never call me even when I told them too. This was our first daycare & it was a bad experience for us. read more

We really love and appreciate Ms. Alona, Ms. Chandler, and Ms. Marina at this location. They have helped my daughter with her potty training and always take really good care of her. We've been going to KinderCare since my daughter was about 4 months old. She's turning two this month. KinderCare has been her home away from home and I'm so thankful for them. All of the teachers that we've had are absolutely wonderful and my daughter has had her favorites, which have changed over time. Ms. Heidi was quickly my daughter's favorite teacher in the infant room and that changed to Ms. Brianna as she got older. Since she's moved to the toddler room, Ms. Leticia has become her new favorite teacher, but all of them have a special place in her heart. Ms. Nancy even taught her some words in Spanish! I've been meaning to write this review for awhile about how happy I am with KinderCare, but we had a scary incident happen last week with my daughter having a seizure while in their care and I cannot express how much I appreciated them even more than normal this week. My daughter wasn't feeling well and Ms. Tenea decided to keep my daughter in her arms at the front desk while they waited for me to come pick her up. My daughter ended up having a seizure while in her arms before I got there. I was a few minutes behind the ambulance, so Ms. Michelle went with my daughter in the ambulance to make sure she had someone with her and was comforted when I couldn't be there. When I met them at the ER, she was holding my daughter like she was her own. Ms. Loretta texted us in the days following to ensure we were okay. When we got back today, every single teacher (even ones I don't remember the name of yet) showed concern for my daughter and was asking about her. I feel so loved by everyone at this center and I am so thankful to have people caring for my child that love my child like I would, especially in difficult situations. I would definitely recommend KinderCare Lancaster West to anyone looking for a daycare for their young child. We're graduating to the 2s class this month and although I'm sad to be leaving the teachers we know and love so much in the infant and toddler rooms, I have no doubt that the next class will be just as great. read more

My son has been going here since he was one year old with Miss Angela he loved going to school and was eager to see his friends. Once he turned two he was transferred over to Ms Kristine 's Ms.Leslie's and Ms.Julia's classroom whom which he loved to the point where he calls them his tias. I never once had a problem with either of them they were very good at notifying me if there was ever an issue with my son whether it be to my personal phone or to my work. Once he turned three, he was transferred over to Ms.V's classroom. I started noticing my son wasn't as close to the teacher as he was with the previous four. I didn't think anything of it since he had just started this classroom. Not too long I thought he was trying to get used to the change. One day he came home telling me his teacher hit him in his hand. I bought it up to miss genesis attention to where she she spoke to Ms.V. According to Ms.V she over grip Sergios hand, instead of under gripping it. Which might have caused him to think she was hitting him. I decided to give her the benefit of the doubt and continued with there services. On October 26, 2023 when I went in to pick up my son, he was under the care of Ms.D. I noticed he had a really big bruise like hit on the side of his eye I asked what happened to Ms.D where she says " I don't know I hadn't noticed it " she then get off of her chair and grabs my child's hands and tells him look at Ms.D tell me what happened. My sons looking at her scared and confused to where I grab him and go over to Ms.Maria the supervisor in charge at night and let her know the situation. She takes a picture of my sons face and says she is going to talk to Ms.Sue (Vp) and the teacher. When we walk out of the daycare my son started crying and saying mommy I'm scared I carried him into the car where I ask him what happened he started telling me "my teacher hit me" I then ask what did she do he then makes a socking motion and I said she did that to you he tells me yes. I asked him which teacher but he lost his attention to me because I took him food and he started eating. I drove over to the police station where I filled a police report and the paramedics went to give him and examination to make sure he was ok. The next day I get a call from Miss Sue, telling me that she spoke to the teacher and Ms.V claims she saw the bruise when she came back from lunch but forgot to notify me and write and incident report because she continued with her day. I got a call from the licensing department saying they were going to open an investigation. To this day Ms.V continues to work there god knows what else she could be doing to these poor kids. I was such a ride or die for this daycare I had even recommended it to my manager and she now has her kids there to but as of Thursday I don't think I'll ever speak highly of this school again. If you are looking for a school / daycare I suggest going else where. Kinder care does not care of the saftey of our children Ms.V continues to work there instead of being put on a suspension until the investigation is finished. Please go else where where they have 24/7 surveillance cameras so you can monitor your children. read more

I do not recommend this place at all as they will gaslight you, especially Loretta the director. She will give you attitude after kids are enrolled into the day care. She stated that the kids would eat breakfast even if we got there at 8:28am, but she did not live up to this word. I would get there at 8:25am and my child would t even receive a greeting nor breakfast from the teachers as Loretta guaranteed us upon enrolling them into the preschool. Another thing, I had given them a restraining order, which explicitly stated that the father was not to approach the daycare. What did they do? They let the father pick up the kids from daycare, exposing them to unsafe behavior, and neglecting the court order I had given them. If you want gaslighters as directors and teachers, unstructured environment, corporate / business oriented childcare center, inattentiveness, short-handed, unqualified (and possibly criminals) as teachers, consistent breaches of promises they claim to make, and a neglectful daycare, the doors are open for you at kindercare west. This daycare lacks integrity and accountability. Please do not respond to this KinderCare West; there is no need to. Just accept and be accountable of the aforementioned. They don't even follow proper protocols as requested on the emergency contact card. Their administration lacks structure and do not know how to handle situations when a child needs URGENT medical care. Instead they will point fingers and not follow what has been written on the paperwork as instructed in WRITING to do so. That in itself, Shows how much they pay respect and give attention to detail in the paperwork that pertains to your child's health. Nonetheless, they will also speak about you in front of you with their colleagues and jeer at you. How insulting; this is the worst disgrace of discrimination I've ever felt in my life. Our baby has been at KinderCare for about a year now and we absolutely love it there! Warm smiles greet us every time we pick up and drop off. Our baby loves hanging out with her crew in the infant room and starts smiling as soon as we get there every morning and the staff greet her. They absolutely adore our baby and it shows. We can't believe how quickly time went by and our baby is "graduating" to the toddler room. This is our first child so we toured about 5 different daycares and are so glad we chose this specific KinderCare. I truly believe this has got to be the best daycare in the AV. read more

ZERO STARS !!! Let me start off by saying the directors are really nice but that's all they are just alright nice. however my son (4 years old) starting attending this location for 3-4 weeks. During his stay there were so many BAD INCIDENTS that happened. 1. An old heavier boy in his class was rough playing with him and left him a bruise on his arm. The teachers mentioned it was "rough playing". With that I was like ok boys can be boys right ? But they shouldn't be rough playing at school. But the next morning I saw a bruise on my son's arm. There was NO incident report was given to me. 2. My son told me another kid was pulling his hair during play time outside. And a kid was taking off his shoe while he was putting it on. Yet NO incident report was given to me. 3. This incident happened around 9:30am this is what I was told happened my son just finished sliding down the slide and didn't have time to get up. Another boy slid down aggressively and smashed into my son. And it led to my son having a fractured elbow. He could not move his arm. When I picked him up he was laying on his stomach on the injured arm with a ice pack that wasn't cold. This is the ONLY incident report given to me. HE HAD TO GET A CAST AND SLING ! When he returned the doctors note said not for him to play outside. I picked him up from school and he was outside playing ! From that point on I knew as a mom I had to do something. I would have taken him out right away but I didn't have an immediate day care. Within couple days - a week he was out of that school. In my opinion I don't know if my son was bullied or what. But this has never happened at other schools. Even though this school is close to my house it isn't worth leaving my son in place like this. read more

Poor business practices, doesn't follow-up with potential clients. The director Loretta was quick to take the registration fee but wasnt communicating about the new infant room that was opening up - I had to continuously call and ask. I registered in August, was told the room would be open in October. Fast forward to January still hadn't received notification or the spot I registered for. I contacted corporate and then finally received a call saying they had a spot for my child they had simply "forgot". I was told I'd receive my registration fee back but then told I paid with a check and it wasn't cashed so no refund; however, I actuallly paid with a money order which I stated and of course communication stopped. Loretta is a liar and a theif. Corporate is well aware of her antics. I had great experiences with kindercare in Virginia. I wouldn't advise using this facility unless there's new management. read more

We are very happy with Kinder Care for our almost 2 year old! He is happy to go in every day and we are always greeted with warm smiles from all staff. It is easy to communicate with the office and they are all kind and flexible. Our family loves to see the pictures of our boy playing every day through the app- they really put a lot of thought into the daily activities! I also appreciate the detailed logs that accompany the pictures. As far as daycares go I couldn't imagine a better one! My experience started off rocky with them due to pricing issues. But we were able to over come that and Ms. Loretta, Michelle and especially Ms Sharonda they have been nothing but helpful. My daughter does drop in care and they truly treat her like she's apart of the family. Good day care and even better staff! I would highly recommend! The only real saving grace was Miss Sonia and the regional director. We had issues where our child was being bitten and we were never informed. The bites even left broken skin and my 1 year old would wake up crying stating that her classmate bit her. After speaking to the regional director since the site director (Adriana Terry) was completely incompetent, we were told that changes were to come. Licensing was informed and did a follow up inspection. We pulled our child out because of the biting and according to Licensing's report, teachers received training on how to curb biting and the site purchased books and teething toys to avoid this problem again which is a plus. It's unfortunate that Adriana is still there because I feel like she is not fit for that position. I'd be cautious enrolling your infant/toddler here. read more

My twin girls come home every day with a new bruise , cut, scratch or even a bite. I have been informed 1 time. My 8 year old is being bullied by not 1, but 4 different kids. Being called FAT, and was grabbed by her shirt and was told she would be hit in the face by another student. I understand kids are mean and this will happen through school. But my question is.. WHERE IS THE STAFF when all this happens????? like no one saw this lil girl grab my child by her shirt? No one sees when my little girl gets dirt thrown at her face or notice her eye is red from a big scratch that clearly was not there when i Dropped them off. Another concern I had was one day there was a bunch of parents ( including dads ) coming in to pick up their kids and the restroom door is wide open to where you can see this little girl standing there wiping herself after using the bathroom.... this little girl had to of been atleast 6 or 7.. Also one time one of my twins where sick and vomited. She was better by that night so I took them to kindercare the next day, the second I walked in I was told my girls could not be there, that it had to be 24 hours.. WELL it had been 24 hours and still I was told they had to leave and can return the next day. But NO ONE could call me, txt me, or email this prior?? Yet the min ur payment is late here they are, emailing you, calling you, texting you, and even stopping you while you walk in. I have to finish out the summer with them there, but i will for sure be taking them out.... read more

We love this school! Our kids have been attending for the past six months. The teachers are so sweet and loving to our kiddos. They always keep us up dated on their day. Whenever we have had a question or concern the management staff is quick to respond and correct if necessary. The whole center knows our kids and make us feel like family. I wish I could give zero stars. Mrs. Heidi is not only a careless teacher, she's shady. They make up the most ridiculous excuses as to why they can't do their job. I'm so glad I pulled my daughter out after only about a month of attending this school. I've literally warned everyone I know.
