This has got to be the most extensive bead shop in existence. It wasn't after I took my bead purchases to the counter to pay that I saw the blown glass beads in the case. $20 for the hearts and $25+ for the owls. It was too hard to resist, so I purchased 3 hearts and an owl. Local artists. Unique gifts for myself, of course. It was just the owner this afternoon. Everyone assisted us in every way they could and were truly excited in doing so. The treasures in this store are innumerable. I mean this store is the most authentic beautiful Native American store I've ever been in the Southwest. You will be in awe of the authenticity and beauty of what they offer. There's something for everyone from smaller art pieces to the large intricate one of a kind art. All of their offerings are tagged and signed by the Native artists who made the piece. Upon entering the main room offers some items for kids and mementos for the road tripper memories. There truly is something for everyone here. It's difficult to even describe the beauty of the store, its offerings, and the peace and serenity you will find while in their building. I've always heard about the feeling of peace and that 'aura and spirituality' that Sedona possesses. Well, the Kachina House truly has that feeling. It is the real Sedona. It's located inside a house, and you need to ring the doorbell to enter. Very nice and knowledgeable lady runs the store and even had pamphlets on the artists and info on they're works. They are open 7 days a week, unless the family that runs it away. There are a ton of interesting & intricate handmade items. Most things are expensive, but I have not seen these unique art pieces anywhere else, so I had to get a few things. Some of the Native artists are actually retiring and no longer creating, so I'm glad to have bought one of their last works of art.
