Later took it to someone locally in Henderson that didn't charge me but told me it needed a new mother board and it was better to just replace. 2nd time was looking for fabric and was treated like it was an imposition to answer my questions. Last time, didn't come to serve me until I raised my voice 3 times calling Sir, when he was only about 20 feet away and doing nothing. Checked later and found they are not BBB accredited. Not sure if it's due to their service or what. Sorry, Singer, but with this kind of service, I won't be purchasing a Singer anytime soon if he is the one that will be servicing it.

Nadia and her assistant seamstress knew exactly what to do. They took in the sides above the waist, sewed the V-neck closed in a flattering and modest way, tightened the elastic in the sleeves making them drape nicer, and cleverly added stiff netting inside the sleeves at the shoulder to make them pouf better. It took her all of 5 minutes to fix my jacket with a pair of pliers and BEST OF ALL, I asked her how much I owed her for the repair and she graciously smiled at me and replied to me, "NO CHARGE"! The skirt of the dress had multiple layers of thin cloth, and a short train, and would take time. We went to Lulu Tailor and asked if she could do it before prom. I told her I would pay extra. She had my daughter try it on, took measurements, and had her walk around. My poor daughter was tripping over the train every time she turned around. Lulu suggested modifying it and we agreed. She quoted me $120, which was at the top of the posted range for hemming gowns. I was thrilled since it was a rush job. The gown was done in 4 days. She somehow kept the ethereal, floating look of the dress, but my daughter could move freely. It was gorgeous! Best of all, it was $98, less than the quote. Highly recommend!
