One time I order ahead in the application and prepay and it's great. Next time I order but don't prepay as I know I want more things in the store. Bitter failure...my pretzel is dripping even running with butter which flows onto everything but unfortunately is half raw. Hwy 90 one seems to have almost no subs already made up and a very limited selection when I stop there. So you have to order from the kitchen. But usually a nice selection of donuts after four when they are on sale. Even the roller items can be very low. But the hotdogs are good when I can find them I go between this on and the one at Culebra and Potranco 7230 Culebra Rd. I have more luck there finding subs and salads but have not used the kitchen there. I have gotten a better selection of premade food there including the bbq beef and pork which I really enjoyed. Again maybe it depends on the time of day? I have not figured out the sweet spot to get things. Maybe Hwy 90 has more people coming through but they really don't seem to have a place for much premade food. I'll keep trying cause when you get it right it is good and I enjoy it.

The staff is so friendly and funny. When I was using the restroom an employee was cleaning it and kept the restroom closed off while I finished doing my makeup. She's was SO sweet and funny! I'm from Atlanta so I was honestly expecting rude gas station employees considering all the employees where I'm from are absolutely horrendous!! Gas seems fine here, no issues but it's not as good as Costco gas to be sure - I think they are getting the gas from the same source as HEB so if you're not in the Shell rewards system you can get the same function for a couple pennies less. This is a full convenience store with a restroom. Don't expect it to raise the bar, I'd suggest it barely meets any bar and certainly has room for improvement. I stop here for gas on my way home from work if it's convenient timing considering traffic and weather. I certainly wouldn't go out of my way to go here if it wasn't exactly on my route home.

I had a very unpleasant experience at this Walgreens when picking up a photo order. I had been…read morecalled the night before and was told to come into the store and ask about applying a coupon because I was unable to apply it online. When I was explaining the situation to Rita, I was actually trying to clarify that I had already applied the coupon to one order and did not want it accidentally applied twice. Before I could finish explaining, she cut me off and said, "Just let me do it." I tried to brush that off and assumed maybe it was just a misunderstanding. However, shortly afterward, when I entered my phone number at checkout, she asked if I had already entered it. I told her yes, and she responded, "Oh, well, you messed it up. Now I have to redo this" Why wouldn't I put my phone number in if it had popped up on the screen?? I was polite and patient throughout the entire interaction, so I was irritated by the repeated attitude and the way I was spoken to. I hope management addresses this because she was extremely rude and off putting. I won't be ordering pictures from Walgreens again.

They never fail in giving pathetic customer service. They're always looking at their watch as if THEIR lunch break is always more important than addressing customers in line. You will run out of gas waiting for service at the drive-thru...It's ridiculous. Make it better by hiring a staff that cares. Keep the Pharmacist, but there's only so much he can do alone.
