This "safe place" doesn't seem to be safe. For one why does it matter how long you stay at a business that doesn't has a no loitering sign, tow away signs, no signs saying no overnight parking and quick trip is known to be a truck stop. I've seen quick trips with parking signs for 30 minutes, which is understandable, but I specifically go to ones that don't have signs meaning I thought it was okay to stay at because they advertise as a safe place, and I travel a lot all throughout Texas. I got woken up by a lady at 6:30 in the morning to get told that I have to leave that I am not allowed to sleep. I went around the whole building looking for signs stating that I'm not allowed to be here overnight nothing and there's so many other cars that I saw here the previous night still here this morning and I'm sure it's quite a bit more than the employees cause there's like 15 cars here with fog on the windows from it sitting overnight I don't know if there's 15 people working here maybe so but a lady came up and said that we weren't supposed to be staying here sleeping that they don't know what we're doing which ironically we were parked right next to a camera. Also, she saw us sleeping because I left it up my head and said hi and when my boyfriend went in there to ask why because there's literally no sign stating that you were not allowed to be here overnight, she said because it's for the safety of the employees, what does how long you're staying here have to do with the safety of the employees. Somebody can literally come up with a gun within five minutes and shoot you or hit you with their car and you think because somebody stays overnight that they're going to cause more problems maybe if it's a homeless person that's on drugs or somebody that's on drugs but you literally woke me up when I literally could've just stopped to take a nap because I was tired from traveling because that's what you're supposed to do when you're driving or when you get when you're driving to long and you get Hipnosis driving you're supposed to pull over and take a nap and she just assumed that we stayed there the whole night which yes we did but she didn't ask any questions she just told us to get out that's it like I felt like an explanation would've been a little bit better because I specifically come to these quick trips because it states it's a safe place and that you're allowed to stay here and stuff and it's also a truckstop I respect the ones that have signs up stating that there's no loitering around because I can understand that typically they're in a really congested area where there's a lot of homeless people so I understand that completely but this one doesn't have any signs stating that I can't stay here overnight. I feel like the lady named Priscilla who is apparently the manager here. She was just trying to mess with us because she was in a bad mood because she had an attitude the whole time when she was telling us that we need to leave she acted like we did something wrong and then we went in there and asked her if we're not allowed to because we're traveling because there's literally no signs out. Legally you have to put signs out because this is a Public businesse. That's why Walmart in places have science saying no overnight parking I mean please make it make sense. The three employees that are here 04/24/23 seem to all be perfectly fine with people sleeping in the parking lot overnight when traveling. They all said yes.
