I usually like to go over to the hot dog roller stand and grab a hot dog or some chili cheese nachos. This location sells amazing pizza that won't break the bank and is quite tasty and filling. They also sell beef and chicken empanadas and also apple filled ones as well. They sell Texas lottery tickets as well as scratchers along with tobacco products at the cashier register. Overall, I enjoy coming here for a quick pump and going inside for a snack or 2 along with a drink. The staff is friendly, and I'm always greeted with a warm welcome and smile as soon as I walk through the doors.

My only suggestion now would be to consider lowering the minimum pickup order to 3 or 4 pounds. It's just my husband and me, so the current minimum is more than we can eat. I truly appreciate the customer service at Brookshire's. I was especially happy this time when the gentleman in the meat department took care of me and didn't turn me away. That meant a lot!
