Went to the Circle K in Archdale NC across from McDonald's today for gas. As I tried 3 different…read moretimes to use my credit card (yes it was good). It didn't work so I went inside the store to see what the problem was. As I stood in line for approximately 2 minutes (only person in line). I was finally spoken to As I said that I need help to see why my, yes I was cut off by I guess a cashier? I was told that I would have to use the self check out (WOW) I needed a person but I was told by the person behind the counter they only check out people if there is a line (yes my thought as well, what outstanding customer service they offer). Went north to the other Circle K on N. Main and 62 and my card worked but I had to go into the store to get a receipt. Skeptical of what Circle K's policy was when I approached the cashier but I was approached by a friendly cashier that was very helpful with me being there, and unlike the other Circle K across from McDonald's where I felt like I was bothering the 2 employees that was doing nothing behind the counter. Signage from the highway was good and directed me to the store sign. Entry and exit was easy. The store exterior looks dated. The pump area was clean, trash was within its boundaries. No issues with my card processing and a quick gas up. I decided on a car wash for $9.99 and the receipt generated the code. The car wash is located off to the left and is a separate structure. The code worked without a hitch and the garage door lifted. I was very impressed with newer equipment and a great Wash price point. They offer an upper level too! Without a visit inside I feel comfortable with a solid 4 stars. I would swing by again if in the area.

I wanted to fill up, but didn't know how much to pay, so just said $20.00. The pump stopped at $19.81. No, my car was not full. It registered about 3/4 full, but it did not go to $20.00. I had to stop again just a few hours later in South Carolina and my car took over 7 gallons!!! ( it only holds 10 gallons). Obviously it was not 3/4 full or I would have made it at least to Georgia. On the way home I made it the whole way on one tank, so it wasn't my car! Beware of this station!!!
