Salmon, baja fish tacos and others
Stella C.

My mom hates tacos but after she ate the tacos here, she's been clamoring to go back (we live in LA!). The taco skins here remind me of something between a mix of naan and chinese scallion pancakes which works really well and is pretty unique! If you have low spice tolerance, ask for salsa on the side, cuz the salsa here definitely has that fire. The craft sodas are super refreshing too and you can sit on the rooftop with beautiful ocean views. Good service as well. This place is hard to find. It's in the food court section of Seaport village inside of Mike Hess Brewery.

Unless you're from the area, this was quick tricky to find as it's connected to Mike Hess Brewing. We must have gotten there at a good time since the line to order got longer and longer. We ordered the chicken nachos, tostada, double IPA and one of the local sodas. We were given a number to bring to our table. We sat outside with the water view. Both drinks were good but it took awhile for our food to arrive - maybe 20 mins. One good thing was this homemade tortilla chips. The nachos was average and could be skipped. Our favorite though were the tostadas. The fish was fresh and topped with onions and avocados with some spicy sauce.

Perfect for a casual meal with amazing views, these tacos are some of my favorite in San Diego! Highly recommend the ossobucco taco and the quesibirria tapatia taco we love sitting on the upper level and watching the sunset and the water

I came here on a Monday night after walking around the Seaport Village area. This place is tucked along the walkway near the water. There is a brewery (Mike Hess Brewing) connected to this restaurant. I ordered the Crispy Shrimp Taco, Surf & Turf Taco, and the Fish & Chips. The tacos were both delicious and I realized after I ordered them that they were made with homemade tortillas! They also have several different salsas that can add some spiciness to the tacos. The fish and chips were crispy and delicious. The fries were nice and crispy and had cotija cheese and green onion topped on it. The service was good and it's a restaurant where you pay first. I would definitely come back to try the other menu items when I am visiting next.

Today was my fourth time sitting upstairs and eating Quiero tacos with a Mike Hess beer. Service - always good. You order at a kiosk and you get a number to take to your seat. Food - delicious every time! I always get the seafood options and surf turf. Well seasoned and cooked perfectly. View - STUNNING

Delicious little spot on the water! My friends and I came in for a wedding and found this spot on the water. It was slightly hard to find and I only knew it was inside the brewery because of other Yelp reviews I read. I got the shrimp taco and the fish taco. Both were light delicious and flavorful. I also had the mango margarita slushy - so I think it was a brewery item and not a Quiero taco problem - but it had no flavor at all... They were trying to host trivia on the patio but the speaker/microphone was so low- you couldn't tell it was happening, or there was more music drowning it out. Overall enjoyable place

This place reminds me a lot of city tacos. It's inside Mike Hess brewery. You order inside and eat on the patio. The patio faces the harbor so it's pretty nice. I was happy with a few veggie options. I got the portobello and zucchini tacos. Bothe were delicious. It's inside seaport village which is a little tourist trap place with expensive parking so you kinda have to want to wander around the village to make it worth it. But if you're there and want some tacos maybe this is your place.

Shrimp tacos. Fish tacos and ceviche

Stopped by for a quick bite as hubby wanted their micro brewed beer. And I opted for some tacos. Note there is a downstairs which is right off the pedestrian seaport pathway, which gets so crowded and there is an upstairs which is accessible from the back of the building, which had no lines and open tables! So glad we found the upstairs! Hubby got their brewed beer and I got a non-alcoholic beer. And we opted for a fish taco, shrimp taco and a mahi mahi cooked ceviche. All were so fresh and delicious! Why can't we get tacos this good in nyc?

Chicken taco

Idk if I ordered the wrong thing, but the food was very average. I got the chicken tacos and the chicken was sooooo dry. Not a great amount of flavor either. The ambiance was nice though! In a great location

Not planning to eat here, we were walking along the waterfront to find some outdoor seating, and we found this amazing venue, right on bay! Fresh seafood and land lover foods made on rich, freshly made flour or corn tacos. My work associate had two amazing fish tacos that were remarkably fresh, where I enjoyed both a carnitas and Hawaiian chourio taco! Outstanding with a cane sugar local California cola! Stop in for lunch or dinner!

Fish, Quesabirria, Carne Asada and Hawaiian Chorizo

Why 5 stars? Because I was just so happy to be here. --- --- --- After a long work week of constant travel, San Diego was our last stop. I had time for a quick lunch, and knew I wanted tacos. I nearly went into the Gaslamp to another place with great ratings, but I spotted Quiero Tacos at the last minute. While they didn't have as many reviews, people seemed to love it, but most importantly, I could sit on the water as I engorged myself with meat-filled tortillas. YES. I ordered at the counter and grabbed a spot outside, with a perfect ocean view. I will admit, I pretty much knew for sure at that moment that my review was going to consist of 5-stars, regardless of what the tacos tasted like. But the good news is, a couple of them were excellent, scenery aside. The Mike Hess fish taco and the Quesa Birria Tapatia were basically perfect tacos. If I could go back, I would have just ordered two of each of these and called it a day. In the spirit of fairness, I did not love the Hawaiian Chorizo or the Carne Asada tacos, but again, I was already about 93% of my to 5-stars because I even saw those tacos on my plate. I'm so glad I came here and I'm about *this* close to moving to San Diego. I may never leave.

We enjoyed lunch at Quiero Tacos inside Mike Hess on a Friday afternoon. Upstairs was packed with people so we ended up downstairs. The view wasn't quite as amazing, but still very nice. Service was prompt and polite, although there was a bit of a wait for our food. Everyone was able to order different tacos, and there wasn't a dud in the bunch. We had fish, shrimp, carnitas, and birria. My tacos were great, the fish one was remarkably tasty. I've never had a fish taco in a flour tortilla, and it was crisped up so nicely. Also, get the frozen pink lemonade. It was so refreshing!

My wife and I were in SD for 4 days for a work conference, and on the 1st day of the conference, we had a lunch break. The Seaport Village is adjacent to the Grand Hyatt where we were for the conference, so we looked around for some local fare. Specifically seafood. We couldn't have picked a better place for that! Though the line was a little lengthy, we ordered within 10 minutes, and had our food within 6 min of ordering. The view was fantastic, and the facilities were clean. We ordered fish and quesabirria tacos, while our co-workers ordered ceviche and nachos. Everyone enjoyed their orders, and I particularly think these were top 5 fish tacos I've ever had. The quesabirria was also very tasty as well. For being in SD during the summer when inflation was running rampant, together all 4 of us spent about $40 with 3 drinks. I totally recommend!

Eddies back... back again... Eddies back Eddies back Eddies back…read more I cant drive past this place without stopping. My favorite is still the Al Pastor. So delicious!!!! The Lengua is soooooo tender and delicious. This time i didn't enjoy the Carne Asada tacos, they had too strong of a char/smoke flavor that overpowered each bite. Service was super fast and friendly. Parking downtown always sucks so either deal with it or go to one of their other spots. This location is almost always busy but definitely avoid at night on the weekends. I hate sitting upstairs, feels stuffy, but I do like the window seats on the first level (great for people watching) or the benches on the sidewalk.

Let me tell you that I was super impressed at the flavors that were bursting in my mouth! The lengua, adobada, and al pastor were cooked to perfection. Pair it with radishes to add to the tacos or as a refreshing "chip" to clear your palate. We ate here multiple times and I can't wait to go back. Located in the heart of Gas Lamp, this place is located on the corner of of a busy street. I love that they are open till 2am so it's a great spot to have some hearty tacos after a long night exploring the town. Service is friendly and fast. It gets super crowded and tables fill up fast but luckily we secured a table either upstairs or in the outdoor area. Definitely would recommend trying this place if you're in San Diego... they also have a Las Vegas location as well.

They had the buy 2 get 1 free deal which pushed me to try new meats since I always stick to adobada. ADOBADA HANDS DOWN FIREEE! I love me a good al pastor taco and they make it just right. Super flavorful, juicy and packed w/ meat. I'm always hesitant to try asada because I haven't found a good spot here in SD, but this one was bomb! The meat had great flavor, a smokey taste and was loaded with guac. I'd order one again. The lengua was perfect too, super tender and fell apart just right. They don't skimp on the meats either. Most of the salsas were tasty and had great flavor and the habanero had the perfect kick ! I heard of this spot because my friend had them cater her baby shower and I had to come try the actual spot. Def brought the same energy. Inside is nice and has a good vibe, love all the decor. Service was super sweet! Horchata was bomb too, not to sweet and they said it's homemade! However I took mine to go, and it was a mess. It was literally dripping oil from the burrito and made such a mess that I didn't even want to eat the 2nd half after eating the first. To be honest it wasn't very tasty either. I didn't even take a pic of the burrito because I was so focused on it not ruining the counter space in the hotel. It served it's purpose of fueling me, but definitely wouldn't recommend it or go back.

These tacos were delicious, juicy, packed, and crafted so wonderfully. The people were very nice, and i loved that they had the salsas at the table with chili oil. I had never thought that chili oil would be good with tacos? But it works! The carne asada here is the star of the show. We had a al pastor one and it was ok but not better than the carne. This place was so good we came twice on our trip (we had wanted to try new restaurants every day but this place was so good we had to come again) - now we did go to Tacos el Gordo and all I'll say is if you love carne asada go to Chulas, but if you like a pork taco go to Tacos el Gordo! **One of my main issues with tacos is that the tortillas are thin/dry?
