Initially I was approved for financing, but it all went down hill once I sent a copy of my identification. Then all of a sudden Connor Burns claimed the bank was requesting all types of information that was not in the initial requests. After I sent every thing in, the claim was that it needed to be approved again since the application was almost a month old. SURPRISE, the second time "the bank" needs a co-signer. Attempted to purchase a $2200 machine. I tried financing in an attempt to build my business credit and the manufacturer stated they use Quickspark. I was approved, but took 1 week to get a hold of someone each time I called. Then I was quoted a total payback of $3500 that's over 50% interest!!! so then I said well, I don't really need to finance it, I'm just trying to build credit, can I pay 1200 to the mfg. and finance the remaining $1000 (their so-called minimum finance amount). Shortly after I received an e-mail stating the terms of this $1000 finance. 21 months at 62 (that's $1300) ok, fair enough.. then below in faded font: $2550 down!!!! WTF???? The equipment is only $2200!!! So I'm supposed to pay $2500 down on $2200 equipment? and THEN give them another $1300??? All for a tax break?!?! Please avoid this company at all costs!!! They sound pretty convincing on the phone of how much money this will save you at tax season, claiming it's the standard lease rate, but it's all bullshit. (Take the agreement to your accountant before you sign if you have any doubts) This is an outright scam taking advantage of small businesses with poor or un-established credit. The WORST credit card out there has a 25% interest rate and a 35% default rate. I worked with this company back in 2018 to finance some capital equipment for my salon studio. Everything seemed fine, until last year I realized my identity had been stolen. After a long process, and an investigation with the police, it appears that the representative from quick spark that I worked with stole my information and got multiple loans and attempted/opened multiple accounts. If you're going to work with this company be wary about the documents that you submit to them and keep a close eye on your credit. quickspark has taken no responsibility for the situation (in fact, when I spoke with Nicole, their representative, I was told that the person who stole my documents and used them to do identity theft on me was a great employee.) i've tried to reach out to other parts of the business for a resolution with no luck, long story short... beware. I have been receiving mail from timepayment about a balance of $6500 that I do not owe. it has no been sent to the credit bureaus. Joe at quickspark should be the one explaining to timepayment that the order was canceled and the account is no longer valid. I was refunded for my deposit and I have no equipment. OMG I should have read these reviews before even talking to these rip off people.I like others here needed some equipment for my small bussiness.They wouldnt give me an interest rate until I autually purchased it.For 1700.00 worth of equipment after doing the math on the payments i would have paid almosy 1000.00 interest cannot pay off early!!! Completely unprofessional, Liz and Jeffrey lack communication in a timely manner . I do not recommend this company what so ever . Sent over documents via a purchase from glownar . The reps made the process seem like it was quick and easy , however they made the address verification very difficult to get by as I've recently moved . Contacted a rep and glownar about the lack of communication with their finance team and she had the incorrect information as if they were waiting for documentation from me , which I had already signed and sent to both Jeffrey and Liz . Jeffrey turned around and asked for the same information I had already sent Liz . They never followed back up all the documents etc were signed once received. SHADY business practices! I had an agreement end 7 months ago. I've been continuously billed monthly since the end of the lease to a total of more than the buyout. Once I finally contacted the company I was told they would consider 3 of the additional payments as coverage for the buyout, but would keep the additional payments as well and consider those "rental" payments. So, somehow, you can pay enough to buyout the equipment, but still be charged a rental fee on top of that. Be aware that the company is not going to do their due diligence to contact you that a lease is ending, they'll just keep collecting money until you finally reach out to them. read more

One I spoke to the finiance offer he tells me " we don't like to call it financing ".. this is after I keep asking what's your finance rate. Great customer service until there were issues. Their vendor restaurant supply dot com sold me a piece of equipment that WAS NOT available. They referred me to QUICKSPARK to finance this piece of equipment that was NOT available. They made me fill out all the loan paperwork, send documents, get everythiing in order and then take my payment for SHIPMENT and TAXES, FEES, etc. A week later, as I am sitting in my restaurant, expecting my equipment, the vendor restaurant supply dot com calls me and tries to sell me a different piece of equipment because the one I purchased isn't available, on back order. Anthony at QUICKSPARK says "this happens" and we let you know as soon as we could. The issue is THIS, all this due diligence should have been done BEFORE taking my money and allowing me to apply for financing on this equipment that is NOT available. Now I have canceled the loan and it will take at least a week to get my money back. Unbelievable. When do you apply for financing, make a down payment, and then 1 week later are told, "oh, by the way, that equipment isn't available." Very poor business ethics here. read more

This is a predatory lender. I financed restaurant equipment through this company for $13000. I was told they report to the credit bureaus for business only. Reading the reviews they also report to your personal credit too. After 7 months of on time payments of over $700 per month they hadnt reported to the credit bureaus like they promised after the first month. I called for the payoff because i only financed because they told me it would be good for my business credit. The payoff was over $16000. After 7 months of payments!!! They will argue for higher interest rates and a higher monthly payment 3. They will hold your paperwork from Time Payment Corp- parent company- in order to leverage the higher payment. Should they succeed in suckering you into closing the deal, well you may end up paying 2x what the equipment is worth over 3-5years. THEN you may "purchase" the equipment from them at the fair market value of 25% of the equipment's original purchase value. Broker I dealt with is a snake. Sent inquiry about financing options for a new piece of equipment for our business. Sent me a note back saying he would talk to his underwriters and get back to me. 3 days later they pulled my personal credit without my consent! I never even ask to apply or filled out an application. I asked for OPTIONS. Not sure how they pulled it. I only sent them a quote for the equipment I wanted to lease/purchase and my corporate business info. The guy was completely unapologetic and could have cared less. Careless and unprofessional.
