I recently moved to Texas after being with the same doctor in Florida for seven years. I had all of my medical records transferred, including my history with anxiety, panic disorder, depression, and severe sleep issues. Over the past year, I have gone through significant life events, including the loss of both parents and a divorce, making consistent and reliable care especially important. From the beginning, communication with this office has been difficult. I have called numerous times seeking assistance and often felt dismissed. When I asked if the doctor could return my call, I was told she "doesn't usually call patients back," which was discouraging given my situation. There have also been ongoing issues with my medications. Initially, I was only prescribed my antidepressant despite providing my full medical history. At one point, I lost my antidepressant and contacted the office to request a refill in order to avoid withdrawal symptoms. I was told by staff that Lexapro is a controlled substance and could not be refilled, which is untrue. Overall, the level of support and clarity provided has been inconsistent. I understand that policies and regulations exist, and I am willing to follow appropriate steps. However, the lack of communication and professionalism has made it difficult to receive proper care. I will be seeking care elsewhere. I hope this feedback encourages improvements in communication, staff training, and patient support--especially for those managing serious mental health conditions.

Even though I live in Texarkana, I felt Longview Regional would give me the best care and boy did they ever! From the super sweet and friendly receptionist at the same day surgery desk, to the nurse who called me back to do my vitals named Sherry, then I had nurses prep me, talk to me and explained everything every step of the way. Once I was in recovery I couldn't really see the nurse taking care of me but her name was Heather. She was so so sweet! She took excellent care of me. Then for my post surgery I met Traci and Amanda. These two ladies were everything to me! They made me feel comfortable, helped me when I had to use the bathroom, gave me something to drink and even wheeled me out to my husband and helped me get in the car. I really hope this reaches them and their supervisor. These ladies were the absolute best! I can't forget the doctor that made all of this happen Dr. Newlin. Christus St Michael in Texarkana misdiagnosed me TWICE it took Dr. Newlin one time to see me, perform a biopsy and then surgery. He is a gem! You're under an oath to provide care. Needless to say my mom was discharged with pneumonia and had to be wheeled out of the hospital, later that same day my mom coded and had to be resuscitated in the ambulance...she died 4 days later. Please please please don`t take any one to this hospital, it needs to be shut down and hopefully two people will be losing their license to practice. My rating is TOTAL FAILURE

She was also very nurturing and compassionate and she cared for me as if i were her only patient. But....the doctor who treated me went above and beyond in my opinion and he made me feel like a person and not just a patient. His name is Dr. Freimer and with the exception of a couple of other doctor's ive seen there, he is the ABSOLUTE BEST!!!! He was so attentive and compassionate. He took the time to actually listen to me and then did what he felt was best for my care while accepting my input. He was thorough and extremely kind and I am so thankful that he was the doctor who was there that day. He restored my faith in believing that great doctor's who actually listen AND give the appropriate individual care still exist. So THANK YOU DR. FREIMER for being exactly who you are! I tried to tell the nurse when I was more alert that I told her the wrong insurance. She did nothing with the information. Not one person did a neuro check or even listened to my chest with a stethoscope. I was kept there around 6 hours. No cat scan and had no interest in what I told them. I was given multiple doses of bp med IV. On the last one my bp dropped from 224 to 165 systolic. I began having chest pain , sob and nausea due to the rapid drop. The nurse tossed me vomit bucket and said "well you are on a cardiac monitor so..." The other nurse drew more blood from my IV with no gloves on and no sanitizer. I've been an RN for 22 years. This is the most appalling place I have ever seen.

Was scheduled for 7:30 and was on the table by 7:10am. Procedure only took around 45 minutes. I was discharged at 11:30am. I sincerely want to compliment Taylor, the nurse who cared for me the pre-op and post-op time. She was very attentive and thorough. On top of that she was very sweet. She is a great asset to your hospital.

My wife had a stay here and I was there with my son today. It was the same high level of service with added amenities. Jennifer processed us in and it was quick and easy. Adysson got us back quickly. Jeremy was knowledgeable and answered all concerns. Madison shared a personal story that was very helpful. Rachel took us through discharge, so of course we were happiest to see her. :-) Having been to many local facilities both civilian and VA, this place is the best in my opinion.
