Due to some unforeseen logistical issues with the shippers, we had to reschedule at the last possible minute (luckily Quick Move had the next day available). From the office staff to the actual movers, they couldn't have been more understanding and bent over backward to help me make it work during a very stressful time. When my crates finally arrived, Jason and Sebastion were quick, efficient and careful about my belongings--especially my artwork and some fragile furniture. I would use them again in a heartbeat. I recommend you do not use Quick Move. This company has horrible customer service and will rip you off. I had my furniture moved from a second story house into a 10x10 storage unit, 6 weeks prior to hiring Quick Move. Unfortunately, the company I used initially was not available the weekend I needed to move my things out of storage and into my new apartment. The first company took 2 hours from the time they got to my door, disassembled my furniture, drove across town, to the time they finished unloading. Cost: $140. When I called Quick Move I was told there was a 2.5 hour minimum charge and the rate is $92.50/ hr. Although more expensive, I was okay with this knowing that it would be done in less than that amount of time, and it was such short notice. Quick Move took 2.5 hours to load the same stuff, 15 minutes to drive less than a mile, and then another hour and 40 mins to unload. They didn't reassemble my furniture because at the pace they were moving I didn't want to pay them a dime more. I was charged $46 for a "transit fee" and overall charged $417 for 4.5 hours of "work". When the guys showed up with my stuff, they worked slowly, took a series of smoking and texting breaks, and took 20 mins folding blankets "on my time". I called the owner Tom, and he was rude and unnegotiable. He said he was unwilling to talk with me "on his day off" about the time it was taking them. His only compromise was to show up at my apartment at 5AM the next day to "assess the amount of furniture I have" and decide if it should have taken them that long. NO THANKS.. read more

THEY ARE SLIPPERY AT BEST! DONT FALL FOR "I've been doing this for 40 years" "TRUST ME" . Beware!! They quoted "in home" and billed double. Damaged antiques and furniture. Then denied it. REFUSED to produce proof of insurance, and threatened to send me to collections. THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE. Flagstaff deserves better, do not fall pray to these predators. This was my second experience with Quick Move. Back in 2009 they helped move our business and they did an excellent job... My wife and I just purchased our first house. Upon looking at the pile of boxes we packed up over the past few weeks we knew it was going to take a LONG time to move everything ourselves. Being short on time we gave these guys a call and asked if they could fit us in the very next day. They got us on the schedule and had us completely moved in less than 4 hours. We had a very complex move involving multiple states, two houses, four storage units and changing dates. Zenmaster Tom and his merry band were hard working, flexible, understanding, worked with us in all the complexity to make a difficult move as easy as possible. Our stuff is important to us and feeling we didn't have to worry about it was priceless. Our possessions contained many 19th century antiques- they packed them and moved them (more than once, sorry guys) without damage. Very fair & competitive pricing with no surprises. These guys were so great! I called them with about 24 hours notice to help my parents ( in their 70s) unload a moving truck. I had found out the day before that my parents thought they were going to do this on their own... not if I had anything to do with it! I called and spoke with Tom- he was super easy to work with and made sure my parents were taken care of. Part of their crew was even running a little behind so he showed up himself! We were very happy with our decision to use Quick Move for our move to Las Vegas. From our initial contact with Tom and throughout the moving process, he made the move a pleasant experience, not the dreaded move I had anticipated. He always did what he says he would, showed up in a timely manner and encouraged us to call him with any questions along the way. We moved a household of furniture/personal items. Unfortunately, the morning of our move we had 5 inches of snow overnight. They showed up on time as they had promised and completed the move in the time frame they had quoted. (Not even taking into consideration the inclement weather) We had many items that required special attention/handling for which they provided and I am pleased to report that everything arrived safely to our destination. Tom and his crew were polite, courteous, and respectful. And we feel we paid a fair price for the move. We would highly recommend them and would definitely use them again.
