The clerk in charge couldn't determine if my Pixel was eligible for warranty and suggested I return Wednesday to have the manager make that determination. She sounded like she was there to provide customer service but had no intention of actually providing it. They bought a part from an unknown vendor & cant provide me with any kind if serial number, part number or item number. They could have offered to open it up & re-look at it. But nope apparently I have to believe that they did replace it, but they don't have to believe me that the 1st disc we put in it is still in it. We have 2 cell phones that need repairs that I WILL NOT BE TAKING THERE.

The tech said they used new batteries, but that they sometimes got bad batteries from their supplier. So if the battery goes bad, return to the store and they will replace it. The battery failed after 1 week. I returned to the store to get it replaced. The tech opened the phone and said that it appeared that a used battery had been installed. So he installed a new battery per their guarantee. When I picked up my phone, the tech was showing me the battery box that my battery came from to indicate it was new. Right on the box was a big orange sticker that said RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization), clearly indicating that this battery had been returned to a supplier and was not new. The second battery failed within 2 weeks. Save yourself some money and find another vendor if you need a battery replacement.
