Safelite called immediately, made an appt, and got to my house on time. I have a Macan which meant replacing the windshield and calibrating the camera. They were professional and very sweet. I will tell you that, later in the evening, the rear view mirror fell down. I called and they had someone at my house first thing in the morning. There was a screw that was a bit loose. He fixed it, explained it and showed it to me. It took all of about 8 minutes. They were friendly, professional, and fast. I would highly recommend.

I had to chase them down repeatedly just to get the most basic updates. No one ever reached out proactively. It felt like I was managing the entire process myself while they did... nothing. They also failed to coordinate with my insurance in any meaningful way, which only added more delays and confusion. You'd think a company that does this every day would have that figured out, but apparently not. Request was send in Feb, it is now April, just to order a part and attempt to schedule the service. A month of me calling, following up, and basically begging for progress because they clearly weren't capable of handling it on their own. And then, after all that time wasted, they refused to complete the service, for no valid reason whatsoever. Nothing had changed from the original situation. Same car, same issue, same everything. They just decided not to do the job. To top it off, the on-site staff was rude, dismissive, and acted like I was the inconvenience. No accountability, no urgency, no professionalism. Honestly one of the worst service experiences I've ever had. Avoid Safelite at all costs unless you enjoy wasting your time and being treated like your business doesn't matter.

Thankfully my car insurance covered the repair with $0 deductible and sent me to Safelite. I was able to get a quick appointment and was able to reschedule easily online for my convenience. However on my actual visit I heard two people in line before me that had issues with their appointments. One lady had an appointment but upon arrival was told that it was cancelled. No one knew why or who cancelled it but they didn't have space and she had to go home without a glass during the rain. Another gentleman had called in to confirm they had the right part he needed to fix his car, but upon arrival was told they didn't have it in stock and had to come back the next day. Thankfully my appointment was still available and they took my car. They have complimentary waters and snacks as well as a TV for those who wait. The staff was very polite and friendly, however they weren't able to give me a time that my car would be ready. They told me to just come back at 5:30 because they close at 5 and it should be ready by then. There is nowhere in the near vicinity to wait at so I decided to wait inside the center since my appointment was at 3 and I could wait 2.5 hours. At 5:30pm I got my first check in asking me which car was mine. A few minutes later I was informed that my car will be ready in another 45 minutes estimating my end time at 6:15pm. Another gentleman sitting here waiting as well was told that his car has been finished already. Looks like they didn't care to update him. I wish there was better communication. Further, there were 5 people who, like me, opted to wait inside. However I was one of the first to arrive, and the last one to get my car fixed. I know that repairs will have been faster than replacements, but still. The lack of communication and extended wait really started to get on my nerves.

The repair time was supposed to be between an hour and two and he took 2.5 hours and at the end he didn't even complete the service!!!!! They said that they needed to calibrate it and they couldn't and then they wanted me to go to their location which is 35 min away from where I live to then wait for hours because they said they needed at least an hour to see if they can calibrate it. I said beforehand that I needed that to be quick because the only time I had was during my lunch break and there were like 6 people waiting and said it will take hours. WHY ADVERTISE AS A SERVICE THAT GOES TO YOU TO THEN MAKE YOU GO ALL THEY WAY TO THEM AND WAIT FOR HOURS???? AND after all, when I'm there, they say that if I don't do the calibration there, they just don't care because they make you sign a waiver before the do some work in your car. If you're looking for windshield replacement I recommend you finding a company that is near you in case "calibration" cannot be completed. After having a not so great experience with a larger company on my previous car, I was very hesitant to have this done. My contact at the dealership (Coconut Creek Auto) highly recommended Paul at AAAG and after speaking with him on the phone about the process (and informing him of my prior not so great experience) he did his best to put me at ease. I'll admit, I was still skeptical! After ordering the new window he came out to my office and replaced the windshield to perfection right there in the parking lot - it took less than 30 minutes. He was very reassuring and told me that he regularly does this for many local luxury car dealerships and brands as well. The window replacement was done to perfection - I honestly don't even notice that I have a new window.
