Let's start off by saying AMAZING!!! I had a horrible mishap leaving my keys on a bus somewhere in the public transit station. ok so let's start this review by announcing that i am a moron and when i screw up, I SCREW UP. went for a jog around a neighborhood in long beach, stuck my car key in my sports bra, that little shit falls out mid-fitness. SWEET. i don't live in long beach, just doing some theatre around there so you can imagine how entirely and utterly thrilled i was to be stranded an hour away from mi casa. days go by, i hold out the hope that i'll find it, i don't and decide to finally take that horrible expensive plunge that is replacing a car key. these guys were great. one of them was tied up, so he called his brother and pulled him out of a Dodgers game to save this little damsel. plus they negotiated with me and were adorable and charming and yada yada yada, fast and friendly baybay, fast and friendly. they were there within the 30 minute window and got my new key made in about the same time. ...and then i found my key the next morning at the bottom of my bookbag I HATE MYSELF. i realize now that this review has become more about me than the business whatever i'm needy. Today sadly my car didn't want to turn on since my car key and my key fob were broken. The chip from the key wasn't able to be read when I try to just turn it w the just the key n a some pliers. Steve was great, I lost my car key and he came out to my parents house, where I was keeping my car, no way I was going to park it in my apts when who knows who had my key, to rekey the entire car. I didn't even have to be there, since I had switched cars with my mom, that was great I had my car back by the time I got off work and she didn't have to drive it anywhere and sit and wait for it to be done. I have a '06 Scion tC that I bought a while back from a private seller. I was given two keys: the key remote and the standard key. However, I was only using the stanard key because the key remote I was given had a shattered casing which made it pretty much impossible to use for the car. After so many months of using the standard and doing research about the Scion keys, decided to buy a replacement key fob online. Came in the mail not too long but needed someone to cut it for me to use as a regular key. Talked to a guy (not going to mention his name) located in Long Beach via Yelp, he was too much of a little (you fill in the blank) to do it because he didn't want to risk doing the job that may or may not work on aftermarket key fobs. Clearly he isn't an expert. Anyway, decided to give this guy a call and see if he was able to cut the key for me. Said yes and wouldn't take more than 10 minutes to do. Drove over to the business (which is not the address on here, he'll give you the correct address or ask him) and he cut the key for me and transferred the chip and the battery from the shattered key to the new one. Tested the key (unlocking and locking doors and starting the car) and worked like a charm! To make things better, only $5 for cutting the new key! HIGHLY RECOMMEND for anyone that needs copies for their lost or broken keys. Will be back if I ever need copies again *knock on wood* read more

First time was with my little bucket Honda about 4 years ago, lost my keys and he went to the rescue on a Sunday what seemed to be his day off, too. He got there really quickly set up my new key and I was ready to go in no time. This second time was with my Chevy Cruze, my key unprogrammed itself because of a break & he fixed up a new key for me way lower than expected too.
