Additionally, my laptop began to occasionally freeze. For several months this problem would recur, and though I returned to PC Support they were unable to identify the issue. Months later, they reached out to me saying they had fixed a similar issue with another laptop. It turned out to be a problem with the GPU. I brought my laptop over and the problem was fixed within two weeks. The team was very persistent in helping me these past few months.

KSK is really the best computer repair experience I've had in 35 years. Extremely easy to work with and super knowledgeable. I even got pick up and delivery. Magic! BestBuy and most others quoted me 3-4 weeks to replace a power supply at nearly the cost of a new machine. I called 10 places and got the Quebec run-around (arrogant, frustrating attitudes, maybe we can fix it maybe not!) - calls that inspired zero confidence. I got KSK on the phone and there was a can-do tone of expertise and when I argued with him ( I was wrong ), he was patient and heard me out. He also made some recommendations about upgrades that would boost performance - but didn't push or up sell - he was just being thorough. While I simply needed my PC fixed, power supply and memory replaced - Im pretty sure KSK could install and maintain an IT set up for a 1000 employee office and build a super computer. Just call this guy. You'll be happy.

I've availed myself of KSKs services a couple of times. One of those times I had a bios chip that…read morehad failed on my motherboard. Sadly the other components of my system would not fit well with the motherboards that could easily be acquired in a timely manner. I was looking at a repair that would take possibly weeks, this for a critically important computer. KSK instead replaced the bios chip on the motherboard. And it cost me a lot less than it would have cost to replace the motherboard! Good luck finding a tech who can and would do that at most other places. Not only that, but both times I have called him with a downed system, he has picked it up within hours, and delivered it fully functional either the same day or the next! Do expect to pay a couple hundred for the job, or more if it requires replacing hardware, etc., but he is definitely worth it, especially with pickup and delivery, and I expect likely not more expensive than most other places that won't give you anywhere near the same level of service.

Therefore specialists are less accessible and more costly. A lot of computers can be fixed or upgraded with a good specialist but due to the lack of technicians, people have to get rid of their computer and purchase a new one as soon as a problem arises. Today there are as many laptops and computers in Montreal as there are people. Just like humans, computers also need maintenance! That is why we have set up this computer clinic. We have tried to be as innovative as possible. We would like business with us to be as convenient as possible for our customers. We offer free pickup, diagnostic, estimation, and delivery.
