Today I received my certified check for a full refund on the "job" Jason "did" that spanned from April 2018 to summer 2020. There was a nice investigation done that I will happily post once it is in my possession. What an epic disaster from the beginning with Jason's excuses, lies, fraudulent credit card charges, somehow damaging my vehicle and basically just not doing a job that he was paid for. I am not surprised that a former employee of his posted on Yelp. Good job Jason. You really are a "master LR tech." I wish I had googled his name before I found his scam advertisement on Craigslist and/or saw his lengthy criminal record full of red flags (and felonies) like falsifying business records and stalking. There are a lot of victims of his out there and it is truly truly truly amazing that the State of New York lets this man operate. He uses his wife's name to run his business and posts pictures of her in front of the business in her military uniform to promote their business.. pretty sure thats a violation according to a vet friend. Using the military to promote your business (scam or not) is shameful. Shame on New York for allowing them to continue operating. Jason's wife (Christina) pretends like she doesn't know their business is a scam. They said no to refunding me in full and now I have my check in hand. I have known Jason and his wife (the owner) for almost 5 years now. I was first his Snap on Tools representative.. seeing him and his staff on a weekly basis.. and now his employee. Does Jason have a record? Yes.. and he isn't shy about it, I knew about it my second week going into his shop because he is upfront and honest about it. Nothing to do with his record has anything to do with his work and his ability to manage his business, so the fact that it keeps getting brought up is completely irrelevant. Stina is a proud member of our US Military and is one of the most respectful and amazing people I have ever met in my life. While Jason has had some not so pleasant employees at times he has handled the situation to the best of his ability and for the benefit of his shop and its livelihood. During my time with Snap On I witnessed the outbursts and instances with certain employees and do not fault Jason or Stina on how these situations were handled, because having these individuals a part of their business was damaging! These people aren't just my bosses but over the years have become family! They both would give the shirt off their backs or the last dollar to their name in order to help someone out. I would definitely recommend Quest and the staff here because we aren't just another shop, when you come see us you become part of that family! A family member needed a reliable daily driver with 4wd. I came across a Jeep Liberty posted by Quest OffRoad in fb marketplace. We did our research and made what we thought was a fair offer. (I also came across another vehicle, posted by another used car dealer nearby, worth about the same and made the same offer). Long story short Quest OffRoad was more than straight with us and definitely worth traveling over an hour to Corning (they also have a site in Horseheads). They provide excellent customer service. They responded to my inquiry right away. They were quick to respond to every subsequent message and call. They appreciated us taking the time to make the trip and were extremely accommodating, staying after hours to work with our schedule, and not rushing or pushing the sale at all. The car needed some maintenance work, which they disclosed in detail. In addition to completing those repairs, they did some paint touch-up at no additional cost. The car was pristine, inside and out, including under the hood. The purchase included a 3 day bumper-to-bumper and a 30 day warranty, as well as some future service. I can't say enough how great it was doing business with them, plus they are genuinely down to earth and nice people. I highly recommend them. read more

When I worked at Quest Offroad Jason did not care about employees trucks. He usually told us to not even change the oil filters on routine checks. In fact, when I was there a young man came to pick up his "rebuilt" LR and found it to be very rough around the edges (I am being nice on that one) and refused it. I believe Jason ended up selling it and keeping that kids money. I found that to be the last straw and I quit. Frankly, I think there is a lot of drug use going on in that workplace and Jason does not care about the community if you look up his DUIs and general lack of care for anyone. It was a normal day to walk past him sitting in his office screaming and cursing at people who were probably sad about being ripped off. The worst part is he severely underpays his staff, the checks bounce like crazy and he owns a boat. Is something wrong with that picture? I know his wife pays for everything with her fake MOS in the Army but I mean she is a criminal too. Pretty sure Jason's son still doesn't talk to him and I don't blame him. If Jason was my dad I'd find the nearest and highest cliff and take a jump headfirst! read more

Jason has gone above and beyond when it comes to the complete rebuild and restoration of my 2003 Discovery 2. I picked up the vehicle in Washington DC, thought i had gotten a screaming deal for short money, but after a through inspection at J.Whites Automotive in Massachusetts I got the gut punch news that it needed around 20k in engine, frame, coolant system, suspension, and rust removal work. After posting about this nightmare online Quest 4x4 actually reached out to me, and ended up quoting me about HALF the price for the full repairs, PLUS some excellent extras to make what started out as a nightmare, into my dream truck. Quest OffRoad is known for being a ripoff. You can look up Jason's issues on the Internet and it is clear that he is a fraud and a criminal. He even endangers his own community by getting behind the wheel after drinking too much (several times) and that is only when he was caught. His arrogance will catch up to him again and again. Id say this man is about as useful as his wife.. in other words useful for nothing. He is what is wrong with the world. Jason - go lay down on the nearest train tracks please. That way you can simulate what the vehicles go through as you destroy them (in your words "rebuild" them). Thanks for destroying my Jeep 2 years ago. Ever hear of ATF fluid? I bet you have. They did a great job building my rig. They were straight forward on what is included in their work and what suggestions they have beyond the "basic builds" to help me make an educated decision what how my money was best spent. Jason is very upfront on what is expected from both Quest and me as the customer. Best way to have an older Land Rover with a piece of mind with a warranty. These guys did some amazing work for me. Needed new brakes and rotors on my nightmare (but i love her) Discovery 1. They replaced all the pads, and a set of rotors, in a day, and i had her back on the road to being broken again;) Seriously though, cheap, knowledgeable, and quick. read more
