Sign in was seamless and did not have to wait very long (probably because I ordered the blood test a la carte aka paid out of pocket) but the phlebotomist Kamal? blew my vein. Never felt pain like that before. He was a one man show bouncing from room to room so was probably on robot mode but nonetheless, this should never happen; my arm is still sore and hurt from this morning's blood draw. Quest is MUCH better, albeit more expensive. Especially with the new self test ordering stuff that has become en vogue. I will try a different location, but I will more than likely pay more for Quest...you definitely get what you pay for. Avoid this location for any testing.

The waiting room was packed and I decided to wait in the hall until I received the text. A woman was waiting in the hallway for over two hours because she did the same as me. I saw numerous people who came in after me, leave. I finally received the text. When I asked the front desk staff person whether they text first or call out the name, she stated that they call the name first and then text the patient. This makes no sense. You have 30 people in a small waiting room that has only 5 chairs. Everyone is standing on top of one another. Why the hell would I stay in there with all those people? Of course I'm going to wait outside. If you're offering people the option. To receive a text so that they don't have to be around so many people, especially during this moment in history, why would you not text th first? Instead, you call their name and when they don't hear you, they go on to the next person and the person after that, and then they call you. I literally watched a woman walk in AFTER I received my text, that got called up before they called my name. Makes no sense and I won't ever be back. Not to mention that the phlebotomist took his time coming to me, likely because he heard me complaining. This place is full of crap.

Please don't put a loved one in there . Also on a positive note the best employee there is Camille she was compassionate and kind all the others were horrible and complained about there job.

Dr. Odulaja is part of Dr. Abiola Familusi, AOH's Chief Medical Officer, team. AOH retains and allows an attending doctor with disciplinary actions in multiple states to treat patients (see screenshots). My mother was diagnosed with Alzheimers over 12 years ago. On the word of a doctor with multiple license suspensions, AOH changed my mother's diagnosis from Alzheimers to Dementia with psychosis. AOH then stopped giving my mother her memory drugs cold turkey, no gradual decline. No one on AOH's medical team is a neurologist nor did they consult my mother's neurologist before making this dangerous change. My mother was also diagnosed with epilepsy and seizures despite not having a history of either of these illnesses. AOH also provided no support for either of these diagnoses. AOH put my mother in a room where she was pressed up against a hot, sharp-edged metal radiator. Despite multiple complaints, I was ignored by the COO until I called the Ombudsman's Office to alert them to my mother's great risk of injury. My mother could have been burned by the radiator or lost an eye, but AOH did not care until I called the Ombudsman's office. When I tried to move my mother to another facility in April, AOH falsified the PRI to state that my mother was the highest level of violent. This false PRI was given one day after the nursing manager told me that my mother was so calm that she no longer needed seroquel. Of course, the admission offer from the other facility was withdrawn. Although my mother was admitted to AOH as an in-network provider from my mother's managed long-term care plan as part of a safe discharge plan, AOH put pressure from Day 1 to sign my mother over to long-term care. I refused and they threatened to have my Power of Attorney revoked! In their zeal to coerce me with undue duress to force my mother into long-term care, AOH committed a HIPPA violation by sending me the medical details for another patient where they had themselves appointed Payee Representative so they could take the patient's social security check despite the patient having a wife and daughter. In an email between the two finance employees, the junior finance employee asks the more senior employee can they do this and the more senior employee tells her to go ahead and do it! A truly unbelievable exchange. It is elder abuse because it is financial exploitation. The private rooms may lull you into a false sense of security that this is a suitable place, but do not be fooled!! AOH will prey on your loved one! They are desperate to turn your loved one into a private ATM at the least possible cost to them.
