My veins are 95% off the time uncooperative but they do eventually find one. Carlos was patient and though he missed on my right arm, he was successful with my left hand. I had two orders from different doctors so we gathered a few viles. Cross your fingers we will be able to figure out what is causing my 24/7 pain. I've been to a couple other locations and I have had a good experience with each. read more

Quest Diagnostics - Entrance for Quest Diagnostics - Laboratory Testing Near Me - West Sacramento, California

I got lucky and was in and out of there so fast. I probably only spent 5 mins inside. I had a 8am appointment for my lab work. I did run a bit late and missed my appointment so I when I checked in I was on stand by. Luckily, they were slow and took me in right away. I only needed to do a few tests so it was quick. She said it was probably because kids went back to school. The lady was nice and talked to me. The only difference is that this lab is inside a building and it's a bit of walk to get there. There is a lot of parking though. The quality care was good. read more

Online check-in doesn't work. There is no indication that they know you're here and waiting. No one is monitoring check in and no monitors showing order of those waiting. When you do get someone's attention they are too busy to resolve their own process errors. read more

Personnel was rude and refused to answer my question. The lobby smelled terrible as well like something was either dead or rotting. Appointment was for 7:10 and they didn't see me until 7:20. I was first in line. read more

This place is clean and sterile, exactly how a lab should be. They have a super easy check-in on a kiosk, and a front desk staff member to greet you. I made an appointment online, which is honestly the best way to get in and be seen at a desired time. You can select the day and time, and get a text or email confirmation. Very easy. When I arrived, I was greeted by "Harry" and checked in immediately. He was the laboratory technician as well, and if getting a blood test could be graded, I would give him an A+. Not going to lie, needles are scary, but he was super quick and I was out in literally 2 minutes. Thanks Harry! This is located in a large medical building, and there are plenty of parking spots. read more

Quest Diagnostics - Clean and aware of social distancing, thank you Quest! - Laboratory Testing Near Me - West Sacramento, California

Walked in at 10:25 with my 2 toddlers knowing they closed for lunch at 11:30. The self service check in said 30-60 minute wait and I could see there were only a couple others waiting for appointments. I waited with my kids until 11:10 when a lady came out and said they're not taking walk ins. I told her I had been fasting and waited 45 minutes and was next on the walk in list and there was only one appt waiting and I asked if they could squeeze me in before 11:30. She rudely said to make an appointment and walked away. Will never go to this location again - or probably any quest without making an appointment. Very poor system. read more

Went in and the kiosk was not processing my input. Took over 10 minutes to get help. The employees are rude and speak to you as if you are incompetent. I will never be here again! The wait time without appt is ridiculous. No front office staff. read more

I brought my mom for a test she is disabled and hardly walks she is 80 years old we waited for over an hour and then receptionist came and told us that they are closing at 4 and they can't see us and we have to come back it's was 3.45 and I told her it very hard for her to come back she said she don't care they gwt off at 4 . They are extremely rude and they don't care about the patient. read more

Went in today (4/18/24) Horrible customer service. Older lady very rude, making alot of passive aggressive comments. (I should have asked for her name) Would recommend corporate sending someone out to retrain her. Would not recommend this location. read more

Although you can walk-in into the laboratory for your tests, it is most advisable to set up an appointment online...really worth it. I had an appointment set at 1:30 pm. I arrived 5 minutes before the set time, checked-in on the tablet available by reception and was seen by the phlebotomist exactly at 1:30pm! How that's for timeliness...? There was a TV display showing all the other patients waiting to be seen and the walk-ins had something like 15 minutes wait at the earliest, and even 45 minutes at the latest. It's worth to get an appointment! The receptionist was courteous and all in smiles, in spite of the large queue inside the waiting area. All she did was take a copy of my medical insurance card and I was off and inside the lab for my tests. The phlebotomist assigned to me was friendly, still in smiles in spite of the big workload and time of the day. And she was well-informed and helpful with all the questions I had regardings the tests. And very light-handed on the needle as well. Great place to get your lab work done! Highly recommended! read more

Sat around for an hour before she said she wasn't taking anymore walk-ins. Saw me sitting there every single time she walked out to call a name. My name was on the board at 3pm, well before they close. Considering I've been to many, MANY Quest locations even after 4pm and they still took me back because all I had to do was pee in a cup. I know it must be soooo difficult to actually DO YOUR EFFING JOB!!!! Like most others, I do mine, even when I don't want to and sometimes have to work later than expected. Not a single smile from the staff and this is CUSTOMER SERVICE we are talking about. And wasn't nice or sorry about it. Extremely rude!!!! Never coming back to this location!!!! read more

I had my appointment and was in and out in less than 10min. Normally people miss my vein, prick me a million times, then move to my hand. Tammy in the office got my vein in one try. So delicate with her touch. Super friendly as well. Definitely made my trip fast and easy. Ask for Tammy! read more

Christina!!!! Was amazing! I am a total wimp with needles, I didn't even feel it go in! She has finesse! She made me feel so comfortable and relaxed. 10/10 experience read more

Very unprofessional I will not go back to this place anymore all they do is talk and don't even check to see if people are waiting they have the window cover. Rude stuff I signed in and was waiting for 30 min. And they didn't even check or tell Me what's going on I said excuse me are you open and the rude old lady said yes all they was doing was talking and gossiping about who know what, I said are you going to be able to see me and she said I do t know if they are cancellations or not so I said oh then I'm wasting my time and she said yes so I left I will Never come back to this location. It used to be good before not anymore They getting paid for doing nothing Wasting our time read more

Rude staff! Not at all happy with their handling of patients. Don't you guys have a district manager who would read all these negative reviews and shake things up a little bit, or they don't care enough about their customer service quality since they have scored the lab monopoly here?! read more

Honestly I truly don't know why many of the staff here are so damn angry. It's weird as if THEY lost a child or have PTSD or rheumatoid arthritis and are also black and treated badly wherever they go... like me- yet still I haven't punched anyone - ever- Thank goodness for Sarah. She's like an actual human being. So the review is for Sarah and no one else. Idk if she went to a special school for " how to not be a jerk." Or what but even when she's had to turn me away because it was so busy and I couldn't get an appointment, she's is still helpful and decent about it. The automated system for appointments is TRASH ! I'm sure the phone service is actually broken and it needs to be rectified so ppl can get the labs that their doctors order. Doctors should be able to push appointments or prioritize them... Anyways, thank you Sarah for not being a fkn Ahole. I actually feel relief when she is working because I already know she's going to be regular as well as naturally kind. She's chill and really prompt too. When I was finally able to get in she had me in and out in maybe 5 mins. Checked my ID and name twice and everything- had me sign the little thingy ... so fast. Took hella blood too!!! Thanks girl. read more

Good access for getting Labs only (Maybe?). Saved me a trip downtown and is a HUGE relief for me. The small seating room filled up quickly, and my walk in appt took awhile. Biggest problem was all the coughing adults and children with no masks on, in a tight space. I was surprised. There were no masks offered or available, or signs to wear one, and no sanitary foam dispensers for hands. So, this was so uncomfortable and different than the Labs I go to in other locations that are so clean and conscious of all that. Left me focusing on why? Not sure what immunizations people have had or not in that crowded space. I was very pleased with the pleasant draw nurse. Nice people. read more

After being brushed off and treated like sh*t by my primary care office, I came here to got labs done. ( was referred by Urgent Care ) Anthony had me cracking up, on the inside and he has this pop pop vibe that was cool. I appreciate seeing people of color flexing their professionalism. We need that and deserve to be seen and accepted when in vulnerable dynamics. The other staff and I had conversations with just our eyes and we laughed and laughed... I am not afraid of needles. I am afraid of being treated badly for being a woman of color and that is not happening here. They even treat Karens with love and care. I saw with my own eyes. Thats hella human. Thank you. read more

Not my preferred location, but this was the closest one that offered the glucose testing for gestational diabetes. Three hours I had to sit on small, uncomfortable chairs surrounded by fellow patients who didn't have the decency to take their loud calls outside. The staff didn't even bother to enforce their "no cellphone policy". These Russian and Mexican patients were making calls on speaker in the small waiting room, and I had to sit through that for three hours. Silver lining: the phlebotomists are super nice. They offered me a small bottle of water and happily chatted about my pregnancy. They were also very patient with my veins that like to play peek-a-boo. I got pricked in four different spots six times during those three hours but they kept asking me if I was okay and if I needed a drink. read more

I've never been to this location as there is one closer to me. But I tried as a stand by at my location a week before and it was too busy. I scheduled the next, closest time appointment and it scheduled me for this location. When I went in for my appointment I was told I need to reschedule because they can't do my test because they are the only location that closes for lunch. She didn't offer me any solutions, like come back when we reopen. She basically threw my paperwork back at me. I left furious and crying. I have children and work and taking more time off doesn't work for me. They were so rude and unhelpful and I needed this done today so it can be processed before my next ob appointment. I would avoid this location at all costs next time, even though it's still in the same building as my doctor. read more

Quest Diagnostics Lab in West Sacramento, Stone Blvd. is the most terrible and vicious test lab. If you're a walk in, and you are not a white race, they'll give you a bitter lesson. You can't ask any employee. Having no appointment is just an excuse for abusive treatment of people they don't like. They'll make you sit and wait for nothing, and you know there is no client inside the lab. No one to talk to. You wait and wait until the lab close or you quit after hours of waiting. read more

I went in this morning to have blood drawn at Quest Diagnostics in West Sacramento. Carlos, The Lab Technician or phlebotomists was amazing. Normally the butterfly needle is used to draw blood from me well he did not use that and used a needle a little bit bigger. I was for sure it would hurt more. Let me tell you, he was gentle and I did not feel a thing. I didn't even bruise! Thank you Carlos for being gentle and sweet and thank you to the staff at Quest Diagnostics for your amazing customer service. Y'all deserve a raise! read more

Dont have time to read the whole review just read the part with **** stars at the bottom. Dear Quest Corporate Management, Clearly you're making too much money to care(7.7billion revenue last year), who the hell schedules Maintenance at 10am est / 7am pst, for an appointment system that everyone uses to schedule appointments are you that novice or you have an IT department that is lazy to work on a production system after hours pathetic imo , you can do better dont blame this on covid. Dear Staff at the Quest Stone blvd west Sacramento, it clearly says on the appointment system phone and web that you can walk in especially if you're 60 and over in the first hour. Staff here at 7am today tell parents over 65 you got make an appointment (clear disconnect there). They were the only ones there at 7am. Come to find out(from uncle) Folsom location takes walk ins for folks over 60 for the first hour when they open. (Is the staff here at west sac afraid to work in the first hour? or just plain abcd ) They come home try to make appointment guess what the appointment system is in maintenance at 7:10am pst(shake my head in disbelief). at 8am the system is up and we try to make appointment clearly says 0min wait to walk in we get there, same story you dont have an appointment, we can make you wait in the car and call you when we are ready it could be all day you can wait. Comes down to work ethic. ***************************** **Here is the most interesting part when you try to schedule an appointment(two weeks to a month out) you can not make one earlier than 7:30am, so what is the staff doing 7am to 7:30am, if they clearly are not accepting walkins even if youre 60 and over and you also don't have any scheduled appointments ??? I guess its coffee break time. ********************** 1 more thing please don't respond with "We will be forwarding this to our leadership team for a follow-up with our staff." message its insulting, leadership is clearly swimming in cash to care. read more

Today I went to these facilities to perform a laboratory test not for me for someone else since this person unfortunately cannot communicate in the language completely and we were treated in a rude way the person behind the counter was disinterested in providing me The help to be able to receive the service and not doing its job as it should, I do not usually leave this type of comments but today the experience was terrible read more

Called in (well tried to call in) no one ever pick up the phone!!!! Impossible to get to talk to someone. Their recordings said that appointment is NOT required and walk ins are welcome. So I brought my mom in this morning just to be told that they see people by appointments only, that they are completely booked and will not be able to take her. Lobby was completely empty. Also I was told that she would not be able to sit in the lobby and wait if someone won't show up to their appointment. Absolutely disgusted by their customer service and the way they threat their patients. read more

MANAGEMENT !! you guys need to retrain your staff or go over the rules again or something because they are treating patients very very poorly there are many reviews about how they treat people and you guys are doing nothing about it. walk-ins are either scared away or they have to wait hours and hours were there is no appointments in the waiting area For well over their grace. There is also a screen that patients can see of how many people are being served and how many people are on the appointment list you guys need to do better you can do better employees are just there for the money not the patients and that is not fair for the sick. Go there as a standby because they really have to go. If you guys don't like standbys, get rid of the option to check in as a standby so everybody would have to make an appointment. They have a disgusting attitude towards the people who they need to be serving. Very unprofessional !! read more

This place along with and quest diagnostic is the worst places to get blood work done! Unless you bring in your own orders from your doctor. Don't expect to have any blood work done . They refuse to take walk-in's even when the app shows availability. I tried for a half hour to schedule an appointment on the app but kept getting an error. Despite the fact the app showed an available slot, the guy insisted they're calendar was full and wouldn't even check to see if the slot was filled. This is the second time this sort of thing has happened to me at this location. They're not always very friendly. Needless to say, I won't return to this location. I went to another location further away and got right in. read more

If you have an appointment make sure you tell them cause they will not ask. It's too bad they don't do their job at the front window.

Totally unprofessional staff here. If you know them regardless of having an appointment or what time it is you skip whoever came to wait and get called back first. I sat and waited and got called up but they didn't check me in or anything as soon as some guy they all knew by name walked in she told me to sit back down because he has an appointment that he was 10 minutes early for. And she told him to write down an even earlier time on the check in sheet than when he arrived. I'd rather not go to a place that has no regard for following policies and procedures; what else could they be skipping out on because they don't care? Not professional. read more

Do not waste your time going here. The lady in the front is extremely rude and doesn't know how to run the front desk efficiently. I sat there for 30 mins and she didn't even call my name. I asked when I was going to be called, since she called 4 people after me already, she then gave me attitude and asked if I even signed in. I told her I did a long time ago. She looked at her paperwok and said oh, well I'll get to you in a bit. On top of that the lab tech stuck me TWICE! Asking if I was healthy and if I drank fluids, hello I'm 29 and breastfeeding!!! Of course I'm hydrated and healthy! They should really just close this facility. It will save so many others from headaches read more

This place is gross. Always a long delay because there is no structure or urgency. Always smells bad and never feels clean.

My experience was different than Kim W. The lab is in a modern medical office building with off street parking and easy to get to from downtown Sacramento. Quest is a national lab and it is not possible to contact the labs directly as they do not answer their telephones. I prepaid my labs (to save money through a third party Internet site) and set up an appointment online. Although the waiting room was almost full I was taken in at my appointed time. The staff were professional. read more
