I have gone to Quest for my blood draw, which is every three months, since I moved down here (about 5 years ago). There has never been a long wait and the people at the Walmart location have always been so very kind. (I went to East venice a few times and I can't say the same for them - I plan not to go back there.) The wait, at all lol cations have always been very reasonable. read more

Went in this morning for appointment, and witnessed an employee verbally attack a customer. With taking loud annoyed breathes as to show her disdain for this poor man. For absolute no reason. She even went as far as telling him he had a bad attitude. Now normally I would keep quiet and mind my own business. But this worker was trying to instigate something for some reason. She displayed aggressive arrogant behavior. I just think you should be aware of the possibly mentally unstable employees your company has employed. read more

My experience with Quest is with their billing. After Medicare paid for part of the bill, Quest claims they did not have the procedure code in order to bill my secondary insurance. The physician's office called Quest, giving them the information needed. The Dr's. office even gave me the date and time they called. Secondary insurance reports they have never been billed. Calling Quest, they claim to have never been called by the doctor. Trying to discuss it with Quest, after a 40 minute wait, proved to be useless. So back to square one, calling the doctor's office again. Will avoid this company, as there are others who can do the job. read more

These people are the worst. They close at noon and all I had to do is drop off my samples. Some had to be kept frozen. As I was signing in, some bitter old employee told me I couldn't sign in even though it was 11:45. There were no appointments left for the day but it says they accept walk-ins. She was unjustifiably rude and she had already called a walk-in. I would like to speak to the manager about her attitude and the fact that I couldn't just drop off frozen samples, along with my other ones. God forbid you might have to work an extra two minutes. There are only two people waiting. read more

I went there to drop off samples they had to be kept cold or frozen and they told me on the Venice location that they were closing it to and even though they had walk-ins and nobody was in the waiting room, they could not give me time to drop them off. I went to the Walmart location after I made an appointment there which is hard to do when you have something that is on a timeframe. I hate quest diagnostics. I will not go back there if it kills me. read more

We went there to drop off samples that needed to be kept frozen. The system didn't allow us to make an appointment but they list walk ins so we drove from LWR to Venice to be confronted by the most unprofessional, rude and hostile employee. No hello just a No you can't just walk in to drop off a sample "I have 2 people ahead of you". Didn't even care to ask what kind of sample to determine necessity of dropping it off. As a health care provider myself, I'd have to say this woman lacks empathy and professionalism and is a disgrace to the health care profession. For reference (since she didn't have a visible name tag, she seemed older, with overly tanned skin and greasy brown hair that appeared to have not been washed in days". Horrible unprofessional employee that makes the business look bad. She is the epitome of unprofessional while also lazy (essentially she didn't want to risk staying 30 seconds to a minute past closing!!! read more

Unfortunately I wasn't able to make an appointment so I went in as I walk in. Over an hour wait and another standby who came in after me was called before I was. When I asked about it, I given a lecture about making an appointment. It took maybe 2 minutes total for the blood draw. They lack in customer service, compassion, and time management. read more

Had blood taken today. I felt a very sharp and constant pain in my wrist (thumb side) for some reason during the entire blood draw despite blood actually being taken inside elbow area. I get home and see this cut that drew blood. I have never had trouble with any blood draw before. Phlebotomists love my easy veins. I like Quest but will not be returning to this particular location. read more

The worst company to use. They are terrible. There are 20 people in the line all day, all night. Even if you have an appointment you won't be called until well after your appointment . By more than an hour. I don't know about but I have a life and plans , they don't revolve around quests terrible employees and there terrible work ethic. The lady came out for 3 seconds and everyone started asking questions since there is nobody to help them check in or answer anything . This is my last time ever using this place for anything. If you hate Walmart you will hate this place read more

DON'T GO TO QUEST DIAGNOSTICS IN WALMART, VENICE, FL. I had an 11:40 a.m. appointment for a blood test at the Quest lab in Walmart on 41 & Jacaranda Blvd. I signed in at 11:20 and the automated Intake machine told me to come back 10 minutes before my appointment. I was back at 11:30 and sat down in the waiting room. At 11:50 a 300 lb. technician opened the door and called out a name. I asked with no urgency, how late the appointments were running today; I wanted to know how much longer I'd be sitting there. She looked at me SHOCKED and said, "We're not running late! What time is your appointment?" I told her it was at 11:40. The woman who's name was called said, "Mine's 11:40 too, and It's only 8 minutes past that!" WHAT??? At this point they're 8 minutes late - not on time! I was speechless hearing her tell me they weren't running late! She disappeared with the client. At 11:55, a second technician who looked to be in her 70's, opened the door and called the name of a woman who had checked in after I did. When she stood up, I asked her when her appointment was; she told me, "11:40". So I said to the tech, "How late are you running today?" She scowled at me, saying, "You just asked the other technician, that! I don't know! Why are you asking me?" I said, "Becaise so far, you're 15 minutes late." She ignored me and disappeared. That told me 3 things: 1. They are all a bunch of grumpy hags at Quest in Walmart; 2. They served a client who had the same appointment as I, but checked in after me, AND 3. That the 300 lb. tech told her colleagues that I was out there, complaining! To allow a potentially vindictive technician to use my arm as a pin cushion, to exact her revenge for perceived but non-existant aggression, was not on my list of things to do today! I left, deciding to go elsewhere! This is why the Quest Lab at Walmart had a 2.5 star rating. They're all touchy, crazy and from the look of them, possibly dangerous and probably terminal! I tried but could only get this review posted if I gave them 1 Star.... read more

The person I am caring for has been fasting and paralyzed. We walked in for a blood test and were RUDELY told to forget it, there is no use in waiting. The room was EMPTY. I asked the man what he was doing right then and he said, "Waiting for my next patient." He just stood there at the door to the back. read more

So... after authoring a negative review for Quest at Walmart, Venice, Fl., I got a response...asking me to take more of my time to forward my concerns to the Quest customer service email. Seems like- if someone has time to read my review and respond asking me to do more work... they could just forward the review to Quest customer service themselves. Amazing. read more

I'm really impressed with Quest. They are doing an awesome job during this pandemic. I did my yearly lab work and because of Covid I had to switch locations due to getting in sooner. The staff were kind , professional and happy. I thought it was weird that the location is in Walmart, but it's really convenient. Good job Quest on your employees. read more
