While the staff were polite enough, it's clear they do not have much experience in dealing with pediatric patients. Due to Florida Blue not being covered by most facilities, we had to take my one year old grandson there. The woman was polite but had to fish for the vein numerous times. My poor little angel had several broken blood vessels on his face from screaming. While petechia of this nature is generally not cause for concern, he's never cried like this even for immunizations. If Baycare is going to cut Florida Blue for lab draws, Quest and Labcorp both need to have pediatric trained phlebotomists on hand. read more

Shocked how they don't have a single water fountain or anything to help a diabetic patient low on blood sugar after giving blood. Even a small piece of candy would suffice. Can even be the $0.25. Something to prevent a tragic incident. They bill our insurance for thousands and they can't even do this for us? Terrible. read more

Got here at 1:10 for my 1pm appt (my fault I know, but life happened). Not only would the check in machine tell me I couldn't be seen, but there nobody to talk to for help! I was able to go on my phone and reschedule for 2:20. I made sure to get here early. I got here at 2:05 and wasn't seen until 2:30! Seems like they are booking too many patients daily or need someone working at the front telling people what to expect. Having no water fountain out where people are doing urine tests and blood draws also really surprised me! Will definitely try to find a different location for the next time and hope for a better experience. Just crazy they won't even let me wait when I'm 10 mins late but when I get here hella early they still won't take me until 10 mins late! read more

Recently I had to take a pre-employment job screening. My Quest location near my had no appointments and this location had one remaining so I grabbed it as quickly as possible to meet the requirements. This location is located on the 2nd floor of the medical building. The seating is separated to promote social distancing. Check-in is done via the self-service kiosk. If you make an appointment prior, you may get a text that allows you to check-in that way as well. I did for my appointment. Appointments always take priority over walk-ins. My appointment was at 1:20 and I was seen about 1:30. The lab tech was really friendly and walked me through the forms I needed to complete and we completed the test. She reviewed everything with me and gave me a copy for my records and I was out of the door. The entire process was seamless. I probably wouldn't go back due to its proximity to my house, but it's good to know if I need to there is another Quest lab that I can go to. read more

My 16 yo son has a condition where even though he is fine with needles he always has a vasovagal response with blood draws. We let them know ahead of time and Neneta was amazing with him today. She offered alternative positioning to help alleviate his symptoms and it was the easiest blood draw yet. This location is also always on time with scheduled appointments too. Clean and friendly staff. Came in at 6:15am (on the first hour) but it was already at capacity. However, they were following CDC guidelines and keeping it to a minimum. In the waiting room, there was 6 people ahead of me. They were going very slow which got me worried because after 7am I believe they do Corona virus exams and I didn't want to be in the facility by then, but the wait was unavoidable. They had precautions, such as, taking your temperature and wearing protective gear. The lab technician (young gentleman), who took care of me, was very polite. He took my blood without giving me any bruises on the first try. I was out by 7:05am so it was not bad at all. So far, this was the best experience I had in Quest Diagnostics Lab. read more

This location manager Paola, I am not sure if this is a real name, but today July 28, this disrespect to me argument my personal business in waiting area, I asked her That I don't appreciate that, she just didn't care I requested a manager she told me I am, I don't think so because some her coworkers told me She is Not She took away my paperwork and denied to see me, because they made it a mistake, sending me to the wrong location. I was 45 minute waiting for her to tell me I can't see you or wait 3 hours. This is not acceptable behavior service. This Location lied to me with everything. Oh my goodness!! I just had the most amazing walk in experience at this quest diagnostics. The care and quality was out of this world. The way Ida speaks really makes you feel like you're greeted with a warm hug. Her and her fellow male coworker were very inviting and welcoming. Patient. Kind. Fast BUT efficient. I walked in and they were very timely with seeing me. Within the first 20-30 minutes. The type of care they give is heartfelt and you know their hearts are truly in their professions! Extremely rude. I tried calling yesterday like 10 times (within business hours) no I'm answered, and when I tried to leave a voicemail, it wouldn't let me. It would just hang up on me. So I came in today to try to make an appointment in person. One of the doctors, short with coil hair that gets lighter as it goes down, was extremely mean to me. Told me that I had to make an appointment online, didn't explain how or where to go to do it, and pretty much told me to get lost. There was a paper on the front desk which looked like it could help me so I took it, and made an appointment through there. Overall experience HORRIBLE. No one at the front desk, the doctor lady but extremely mean, and I had to figure everything out by myself. I just wanted someone to help me make the right appointment. And also, on their website I didn't even see what I need an appointment for, so I just clicked "all other tests" That just makes me wonder if this place can actually help me or if I should call my doctor and tell him that this place can no longer provide what I need. read more

I wasn't sure if I'd be able to make it today so didn't schedule an appointment beforehand. My previous event ended early, so I took a chance and I showed up to Quest 50 minutes before they closed. Even though I didn't have an appointment, they were able to get me in very quickly. Chris U was incredible. I barely felt the needle and he was pleasant the whole time. I was in and out in 15 minutes! I definitely recommend this location. read more

I got here close to closing time, I wasn't sure if I could still get seen or not, there is no one at the desk in the lobby to ask so I tried to sign in on the tablet in the lobby and it worked, told me to have a seat and they'd be with me shortly. I sat there for 10-15 min before someone came out to lock the door and she told me to get out, they were closed. I tried to explain that I signed in and the tablet didn't say they were closed and maybe they should fix that so people aren't confused. Or put a sign up on the tablet or literally ANYWHERE bc they have a million signs but none explaining when their last appointment is. Stupid waste of my time and there was no need for this lady to be so rude to me. I didn't do anything wrong. I got there long before their "closing time." read more

I am a 77 year-old disabled veteran. On Aug. 8, 2023 I visited Quest on Dale Mabry Hwy to have blood drawn for several tests. The technician was polite and professional; he informed me that several of the tests were not covered by Medicare so I declined having those tests performed. I contacted my provider immediately for informational purposes. In January 2004 I received a bill from Quest for $198.70. I immediately called Quest and spoke to a nice young lady named Ellyn. I explained the situation to her. Specifically I stated that several tests had been identified to me as not covered by Medicare, which I declined having done. According to Ellyn, two other tests were not covered by Medicare ergo the billing. I told her that these tests also should have been identified as not being covered. she was sympathetic and told me the account would be put on hold for 30-45 days and that my request for a write-off of the tests in question would be presented to the next level for consideration and that i would be contacted accordingly. Well a few days ago i received another bill from Quest for $198.70, which I just paid. I resent not being contacted by Quest and I resent the bill not being adjusted based on my explanation. I would appreciate a recommendation for another lab company that can be trusted. Thanks so much. read more

Worst facility to try to get anything done at. Staff does as little as possible and are incredibly rude. The office doesn't even have a phone or anyway to get in contact with them. Went in for blood work, and had a great experience! Making an appointment online was super easy and then I completed the online check in and pre-screening questions, when I went in for my appointment I was only in the waiting room for about five minutes and then had a really nice nurse taking my blood. Highly recommend this place, but definitely make an appointment. Waiting room was full of walk ins that I got to go ahead of because of my appointment time. read more

Very easy to make an appointment online. The check-in process is super efficient. The staff is friendly and helpful.

My first visit at this new facility was on November 8, 2019. I was impressed by the cleanliness The waiting area was spacious and spotless. I had made an appointment and waited less than ten minutes prior to being called back. The phlebotomist who drew my blood was excellent. Many lack the ability to draw blood with a minimal amount of pain but to this skilled young lady, it was an art form. read more

Trying to drop off labs for a patient and I have to wait for an extended time to drop labs off due to their system and no one at the front desk to help. Labs expire in a short period of time and may require the patient to have to have labs redrawn. Staff is rude and doesn't seem to care if the patient has to be restuck for more lab work. I'm not going to talk trash about this exact location. I'm going to talk about this company in general so I owed them money from some labs so I PAYED FOR THEM. My only mistake was I had put it on autopay. So a month later I HAD FINISHED PAYING THEM MY BALANCE , and these motherfuckers kept taking money out . To the point that I had a over draft fee from my bank and I owed money to my electric bill company because THEY TOOK OUT MONEY WHEN THEY WERENT EVEN ALLOWED TO. So now I looked bad in front of my electric company. To them it looks like I can't pay on time ,and these people have the balls to say they aren't paying me back FOR THE DISASTER THEY CAUSED IN THE FIRST PLACE. In the end they said they were going to send a check for the money they took out WHEN IT WASNT THERES IN THE FIRST PLACE. What's the point of making an appt if I'm still waiting way past that time... this is the 3rd crappy experience I've had with 3 different QD locations. If there was another option to go do this blood work at, I would NEVER come back. Not to mention the fact that EVERYTHING here is automated. There is absolutely no way to talk to anyone at all about anything! The appt setting is all automated and therefore has no idea when they take lunch, so my 2nd appt was booked when they were leaving to go to lunch. I ended up waiting 3 hours before I just had to leave bc I had to go to work! The first time I tried to get this done I looked online and it said the walk-in wait time was 14 mins and they close at 3pm. I got there at 2:15 and was turned away bc they don't take people after 2pm... why wouldn't it say this online instead of misleading people and wasting their time and gas to go up there? I'm now on my THIRD try and had an appt at 1pm and am ssttiill waiting in the frickin waiting room. This is absolutely ridiculous and I will NEVER return! read more

One of the worst Quest labs I have ever visited. Posted a review on here the day after my visit (June 9, 2020) and it has been pulled down. Patient Advocacy just responded to me today (almost 30 days later) saying they were looking into it. Although I appreciate that they responded, I do not appreciate my review being taken down, especially when it was about how rude the staff at this location was. Will now drive 35 minutes out of my way to go to an alternate Quest lab (or go to another lab company entirely). read more

The wait room and lab itself were very clean, they have an app to get a spot in line before even getting to the facility which was helpful, it also tells you the current wait time so you know before getting there what you have to look forward to. The staff at the lab were welcoming and professional. My problem is/was with retrieving test results. If you purchased the lab yourself you are required to register for an account where they will confirm your email, verify your identity, then send your test results. What they don't tell you while making the process seem easy and care free is that it takes 7-10 business days to "verify" your identity, customer service helpline is "unable" to assist in verifying your identity, and the it support or whatever they are "don't have a phone" so they can only be reached by submitting a claim on the MyQuest system and waiting 3-5 business days for a response. Never again will I use this company unless it's required by someone else and they are paying for tests. Nothing but a headache! read more
