I have been going to Quest weekly or biweekly (varying based on Dr.'s orders) for approximately the last two years. I usually go to the Pinecrest location at 9521 S Dixie Hwy, Pinecrest, FL 33156 (sometimes I go to another location based on appointment availability). I had never had an issue before. Today I was treated in an very rude and unprofessional manner by Sharkara (who I believe is playing the role of manager or something of the sort) simply because i asked a question. I had an appointment at 7:10 AM, and I was in the waiting area when I noticed my name was removed from the screen and the person listed after me was called in. Sharkara was sitting at the door and I commented to her that my name had disappeared from the screen about 3-4 minutes before, and the next person had been called in. This seemed to bother her and she loudly said "You've been coming here long enough to know how this works". Then she went inside to the phlebotomist area and also loudly told a phlebotomist "Ashley , go call her" referring to me. That was all very unpleasant; but it does not end there. That is actually just the beginning of my humiliating experience at Quest this morning. When Ashley was in the phlebotomist room with me about to start working on me, Sharkara called ALL the phlebotomists out of their rooms into the hallway (where I could hear), and in a loud and rude demeanor, started telling them "When this patient comes here, call her in even if you haven't put away your specimens". I got up from my chair and walked towards them and told her that since she was loudly speaking about me to the whole staff, I had something to say as well. She yelled "No! In the kitchen everyone!". And she took the staff to the kitchen. I then walked back to phlebotomist room and waited. Then she came to the room and started yelling at me that I should know how this works. She said they had to put away the specimens. I told her I understood but I needed to be heard also and, when she finished as I started to tell her my point of view, she walked away clearly not caring about the customer's experience. I was trying to tell her that I understood that the specimens should be put away but a better method would be to let the next available phlebotomist call the customer rather than removing the customer's name from list. After they put away their specimens, then they should call the next person. She never allowed me to provide this feedback because she would not listen and simply walked away. Then a few seconds later she walked back into the room to tell Ashley "When you are done with this customer's paper work, give it to me". This, once again, made my experience awful because I wonder if she was just bullying me or if she is going to do something with my paperwork that I should be concerned about. This is my health information that she was bullying me with. I asked the phlebotomist Ashley for Sharkara's last name and she said "all you need is her first name". I don't know if she was scared that Sharkara would reprimand her, but she did not say a word and did not tell me Sharkara's last name. It almost sounds like Sharkara is terrorizing everyone including the employees and the customers. At all times her tone was loud, bossy and bully-like. All I did to trigger this, was to tell her that my name had disappeared from the screen. I am not sure what kind of pressure the company places on the staff; but the way she treated the rest of the staff was horrible and the way she treated me, the customer, was horrendous, unacceptable  and unprofessional. No customer or staff member should be bullied in that way; and I will report this as high up as I possibly can; and I will share my experience with everyone I can. I emailed the company this morning immediately after my appointment and no one has replied. I am in the process of obtaining the email address for the CEO because this is just simply unacceptable and he needs to know this is happening. read more

I went here today to do a drug screening and it wasn't that bad. There were two women, about middle aged, at the front desk. One had dark brown hair the other was blonde. The blonde one could brush up on her English but they were alright and professional (to me at least). I did wait pretty long though. My appointment was at 1:00pm and I got there at 12:23pm. I didn't start my test until 1:20. If you schedule your appointment online or by the phone, just make sure you have your appointment confirmation number. A guy there today said he scheduled an appointment for 12:15 but didn't have his confirmation number and they treated him as a walk-in. I went midday on a Wednesday and it wasn't that crowded. It's important to note that you can't make an appointment in person. According to the woman at the front desk, the system doesn't allow it. It needs to be over the phone or online. read more

This place is always a CIRCUS, today they had someone at the front door with very poor client management and operations management skills (Fiorella) who turned out to be the Supervisor's Trainer. No wonder why this place is like a CIRCUS, if the trainer is so bad herself!! Leading by example is nota mantra in this place!! Disorganized, rude and most of all, out of the role.... she does not have a clue what her role is. Go somewhere else! read more

Customer service? Who's that? These people have never even heard of the term. If you're here for a drug screening you better pray the person who started your test doesn't decide to leave for lunch in the middle of it, you're gonna be stuck waiting for them to come back because "nobody else can finish your test". Of course when you tell them it's unacceptable to "hold it" for 45 minutes, they tell you that it's "the system and there's nothing they can do". WHY did it take FIVE days to complete my labs? I was supposed to have them drawn, download and print reports, and take them to an Urgent Clinic to get medical clearance for surgery.  I had to go to the MD empty-handed, and he wanted to REDRAW my blood, because he had NO results from Quest!  UNACCEPTABLE!   I will never go back! read more

Where do I start? The front lady is super rude. They work super slow. I've already seen two arguments with the staff. The waiting time? well, better make an appointment. They have about 6 people in there, I don't know what they're doing. If you don't have an appointment expect at least 1hr wait. This is the worst quest diagnostics I've ever been to. read more

Make sure you call ahead in advance to make sure the lab is open. Went to my appointment early this morning - for which I had received an email reminder yesterday. Sign out front said they were closed for several days because of an AC problem. Really? No one thought to inform the people who had confirmed appointments that the facility was closed? Another lady who showed up at the lab at the same time as me said she had just spoken to them yesterday to confirm. And another elderly couple was trying to make an appointment with another Quest lab in Coral Gables but the sign out front posted the wrong number. I find this not only unprofessional but exceedingly inconsiderate. read more

I can describe the employee behind the front counter using the words of our current president: "such a nasty woman". The online info says this office closes at 4:00 PM. I arrived at 3:28 pm and was told that they were closed now, and if I had a problem I should take a picture of the office hours on the front door and send it to headquarters. I pointed out to them that the hours on the front door said that it closed at 3:30, so they were still open. The nasty lady then snapped "we only take drop offs from 3:15 to 3:30". What?! This was not posted anywhere. So, I left and ran over to the Quest office on Kendall and 114 ave, and a very nice young woman took care of us right away. read more

This is absolutely the worlds worst company to deal with.They treat everyone like a robot with no brain. This is suppose to be a company with humanity. They are suppose to deal with people. There is no customer service. It starts with a horrible automated system that you can not get past. You get a call center. They do not care either. This call center handles everyone in the country. You are a robot on an assembly line with a 10 digit number. You should be able to call directly to the center you are going to. It is the most in personable treatment. I demanded a supervisor. It took 15 minutes to get her on the phone and could not even say the words I'm sorry. She set the tone but how can she if she doesn't care and she is trained to be a robot that does not care. She was nasty! She talked to me like a trained robot. This is the most inhumane place to deal with. I would never recommend this pace to anyone. I would not trust them. If you like to be treat like a robot with a number then go here. I never want to be treated the way they treat people. Stay away. Do not go here!!! It is the worst. read more

I went without an apt as I had to drink this sugar water then do blood work 2 hours after. Raysa N, was not only very nice at the front desk, she helped me do the test properly & within 10 minutes of the two hour mark she took my blood and I was on my way! True customer service ! Quest is quest & you do have to wait but this was my best quest experience!! Thank you Raysa!! read more

This was the worst experience ever! They could not find our appointment, then finally a very inexperienced and irresponsible woman tried taking my son's blood. When she could not, after causing him bruises she argued he was dehydrated, we checked and he is not. And then they calle us later to saw she mismanaged the blood and is unusable. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!! the worst lab I have seen in my life! read more
