We have been using Quest for a number of years now, mainly for my husband's work's biometric screening each year. Recently, we have also been having our lab work from the Dr's office sent here as well. Love having it inside Randall's. Allows me to grab any needed groceries after my appointment. Waiting room is small and typically crowded. Setting appointments up online have been super easy. Oftentimes, appointments within the next day or two won't be available but since we're pretty flexible, time slots are available within 3-5 days. The staff here are amazing. I feel like they are always patient and friendly. I honestly don't know HOW the remain so patient and friendly because every time I'm here I witness patients being either rude or just plain incompetent. The phlebotomists are typically gentle. Sometimes you'll get one that hurts and leaves bruises but overall, pretty good. As for price, this place is awesome. So the main reason we have our labs sent here from Kelsey is that Kelsey's in-house lab charges about 3x as much as Quest. Last year at my physical I requested 2 additional tests. I paid around $250 extra out of pocket for my bloodwork done at Kelsey. (Yikes!) This is BECAUSE insurance only covers say, $40 towards a test. So if Kelsey charges $90 for the test, we pay the $50 difference. Same test at Quest, insurance covers the same $40 but Quest only charges say $50, so my out of pocket cost is only $10. So with the extra tests, I only paid $60 at Quest this year compared to $250 at Kelsey! Sooo, yeah. Kelsey sucks and Quest is awesome. Lastly, any issues we have had as of late have nothing to do with Quest... it's our stupid Dr.'s office (Kelsey Seybold) who repeatedly hasn't faxed our lab scripts over or left off tests, which result in hour-long wait times. Usually, if you make an appointment, it's pretty close to that time when you get in. Luckily, despite all the screw-ups from Kelsey, Quest honors our appointments and will get us in as soon as the info is faxed here. The one "observation" I have had here, since I've been here multiple times now, is that I feel like their time isn't efficiently utilized. I often see a lot of chatting and standing around. I don't know if they only have to see a certain number of patients per day and thus, don't feel the need to "churn and burn" to get more patients seen??? Just my 2-cents. All in all, super happy with Quest and will return for all our lab-work needs. read more

I have cancer and my doctor sent me for lab work but quest wanted to charge me $1000. I have great insurance but haven't met my deductible yet. Shame on them for turning me away because I didn't have $1000. This is serious not a check for something like cholesterol. read more

We went to the one in pearland Randalls yesterday they were very rude told me they don't answer phones there. We had fax sent there i was told it was digital so it took allot longer to receive it.botten line they really did not want to do there jobs. Very rude worker's read more

Per this location directions, I made a 12p appointment. After waiting 20min, I was told that they can only do the blood work if I took the sample to FedEx myself. I do not trust the information given and cancelled. Poor service read more

Mrs. Jones is incredible. Friendly and efficient. The lady that does all the check ins, Tisha was also very kind and accommodating...I went online and added tests and they did not have any problem. I was a walk in but I recommend getting an appointment because they are a very small neighborhood office located conveniently inside Randall's. This is not a high volume numbers office. If you want that go to a larger place with more rooms. Overall great experience! read more

This is the most unprofessional facility i have dealt with. 3 weeks ago, they made my 86 year-old mother wait, then rudely told her they were closed at 5:24pm and slammed the door. A week later, they were rude and made her wait. Today i find out that the orders i gave them for Dr. John Yu (Cardiologist) were given to the Dr. Ahmed. This is why Dr. Yu has not returned our calls. A bit unprofessional. I came in for a time-sensitive blood draw that needs to be iced, packaged, and overnight shipped to an out of state laboratory. I came with everything ready to go, I just needed the blood drawn. I've had to wait while the tech tends to her grandson and took a personal phone call all while my chances of getting the package there on time get slimmer and slimmer. I appreciate the fact that they are convenient (right inside Randall's) and take walk-ins. The staff is also friendly, but a few things need to be sorted out still. I arrived for my appt, and the technician poked my arm and began digging around looking for a vein. I asked her to stop, try and find a vein first, then stick, but she proceeds with the same process on my other arm. She then puts me on a waiting list because she is better than the other tech and that person won't be able to do it either. I promptly went over to Methodist where they were able to collect the blood sample with one stick. Worst service ever. read more

My friend had an appointment at Quest i Pearland today. He had his leg removed 4 weeks ago and is in a wheel chair. He was taken into the waiting room by the lady at the desk as we were at the Randells location with no room in the waiting room and were outside it. I was told to wait. All of a sudden she came rushing out saying he fell. I went in and found him on the floor. The nurse inside was just standing there doing nothing. I got him in the chair they wanted him in and found that they expected him to hop across to their chair. there was a cabinet next to it on wheels that could have been moved so a wheelchair could get in but wasn't. I was very upset and the nurse said I had to get out or he had to go . I went to the door which was slammed in my face. This is the worst clinic I have ever seen. It should not be able to operate. read more

I went to the Sugar land location first, over 10 people in the small lobby, hot with no AC, the the staff is rude. It had to be 3-4 techs doing absolutely nothing, but being mean. I decided to drive all the way to the Pearland location. It was well worth the drive. Charlotte was the best, great attitude, fast, and knows what she's doing when it comes to taking blood without hurting you! There was 4 people there when I arrived as a walk-in out in 15 minutes! Waited less than 5 minutes. I did call the phone number same day and made an appointment for two hours later. I was seen before the people who were walk-ins, so I would suggest calling. It was an easy automated system. Checked in on an iPad with my phone number. The lady who check me in was nice and made friendly conversation. The phlebotomist confined my identity, was polite, and I was in and out of the blood draw in under 5 minutes. read more

I have been using Quest for few years now and the ladies that did my labs were always professional, one stick and go. Today I had Melba at Pearland site and she was so professional and soft spoken and calm . Again one stick- no pain and I was out quick. The only drawback in this company is the result wont pop up in your online account as expected. But the people that work there are awesome! Also you cannot talk live over the phone if you have question as to when will the result comes back ( if it did not came back as promised)... read more

The Quest office here is small. There are two phlebotomist positions and both are immediately open to the waiting area, which can get crowded quickly because often the patients are feeble, elderly folks who have a family member with them to help them sign in, walk and respond when their name is called...they can't really sit outside the waiting room. I found the phlebotomists to be friendly and efficient. I've had two blood tests there so far, with two different phlebotomists. Each one has been professional, able to locate a suitable vein and stick in the needle painlessly the first time. I'll be returning again tomorrow for my next visit. I have to have blood tests twice weekly to monitor my chemotherapy treatments. read more

The service was terrible! Two of us came, as walk-ins, for blood draw. Before signing in we asked the approximate wait time. We were told 10-15 min. We signed in. 45 minutes later we still hadn't been helped. We inquired again as to how much longer a wait they anticipated. The woman rudely shoved a piece of paper at me and told me to schedule an appointment or file a complaint. (There had only been two people with actual appointments during the time we were there). I told her I was trying to determine much longer it would be and she called her supervisor to complain about me asking about how much longer it would be before I would be seen. I left without being assisted and will NEVER go to this location again! read more

I went to my primary Dr . In Pearland Tx at memorial hospital Medical Group 10907 Memmorial Hermann Dr . I was in an out within an hr . Everything was good Dr . And and staff ,No problem at all !! Dr sent me to lab Quest Diagnostic for blood test . Same bldg only 2 doors down . This is where my complaint is . I was in their waiting room for over an hr , til they call my name , an older lady, she put me in another waiting room , and left me there waiting for another 10 min , and went back to the waiting room to ck people in . After 10 more minutes she came back to start the computer ,which wasn't starting cause she was still sign in , in another room with her ID . So now we had to wait 5 more min for the computer to start , cause she had to go back to the previous room to sign off in the other computer . At this time I was already there for 1 hr 30 min , their small room was packed. When she was ready to start with me , and was trying to gather all the stuff she needed , she was missing a lot of stuff in the room . I was out of patience already ! cause I could see other people that got there after me , already walking out . This lady if I well remember her name is Bridgette was trying to do way too many things at once , I think she was trying to be efficient, all she was doing was getting confused and making people upset and making them wait longer . It took me way longer to do the lab , then the whole Dr appt , I will never go back to that lab they have very unprofessional people working , or they need about 3 more ladies working there , cause they have way too many patience for a few incapable staff , that can't handle all those patiences . read more
