I pay all of my bills on time and have an 825+ credit rating. Last week I get a credit collections services letter that my daughter, under my address, owes about $87.00. First off, I never got that bill because if I did, I would have paid it promptly. Second, by using arcane and confusing, multiple billing systems with the same sites, Quest automatically confuses customers. But to just send it off to a collections agency without ever even trying to reach out is a sin. So, from now on out, everyone in my family (who is on a PPO), will request anyone other than this shabby, shoddy company. I cannot wait for the Mass Privacy law to take effect, as I will hold them accountable. read more

If possible check to see what lab your sample will be going to BEFORE you get tested for COVID-19. I went to the local clinic (the ONLY place I could get an early appointment). After they collected my sample they gave me a paper and told me if I sign up online with Quest, I would be able to see my results in 2-3 days (which is also stated on the Quest Diagnostics website). I signed up and had to answer several personal questions, which is required to receive the results. The problem is... the website is not user-friendly, sloppy, and it is unclear where, when or how you results will appear. I have a co-worker who was tested the day after me and got her results back 2 days later (her sample went to LabCorp.) I think Quest Diagnostics signs you up to get statistics and future BUSINESS! This is the slowest Quest in the area. Do not try this location unless you have some free time.

Online and their phone says they are open @ 7am. On 1/23/19, they were no where to be found, from 7:00 - 7:15am so I left because I have work. It would be helpful if they stuck to their hours as to not ruin someone's morning and make people late for work just because they are. Oh, and good luck getting in contact with the facility. Their phone goes to a dispatch center where I was put on hold for 20 minutes just to be told that "all I know is their hours are 7am-5:30pm, you cannot talk to anyone at the facility because they are focused on getting people in and out" Funny, from my experience, that is not what they are doing. read more

Made an appointment, I don't know why because they don't honor them. There's a sign in sheet. There was 1 employee working I think (that's all I saw). I was taken 30 minutes after my "appointment" time. This place needs more staff and management. I felt bad for the one overworked staff member. When I was able to be seen, the girl working was really nice. read more

This review is for the Quest in Norwood on MORSE ST, not the one in the basement of the Guild Building on Washington St. I've been to the Morse St location twice - once it was terrible and once it was fine. I guess it depends on how many people are waiting and how many staff are working. The first time I went there was one lady registering patients and then drawing the blood...one...by...one. It was dreadful. Amazingly, the phlebotomist/receptionist maintained a fairly friendly demeanor even though I'm sure she could tell patients were getting very...impatient and pissed off. I got there at 7:30 am (they open at 7 am) and there were 12-15 people in front of me. I waited an hour and there were still a few folks in front of me (you have to sign in, just like detention) and then I had to leave to go to work. F this I thought. I went back a few days later, and there were only a few people in front of me but there were two people working - same lady as before and another. I only waited about five minutes, then the woman brought me to the blood drawing room, for lack of better term. I was very nervous, as I'm a big baby and I detest needles. She was very good and drew my blood without pain. Granted, I did apply some of my 8 year old son's lidocaine prior to getting the needle. In summary, much has to do with how busy this place is and how many staff are on duty.... read more

This Quest lab features a phlebotomist (Miss X) who serves double-duty as the administrative person who "registers" the incoming patients. If this woman is any example of the type of person Quest hires, then this organization is desperate to fill positions and is just barely staying afloat as a viable business. Miss X did not present herself as a professional on any level -- her uniform looked like she just took it out of the dryer, her hair was sloppily pulled back, her lab coat was thrown over the cubicle wall. Nothing about this lab filled me with confidence. In retrospect, I should have left. After I had been registered and gruffly told to sit in the lab, I waited for another 10+ minutes. When I inquired as to how long the wait would be, Miss X grabbed my paperwork, pretty much threw it at me and told me to take a few minutes and review my information. As I waited my turn, Miss X verbally abused a visiting nurse who had placed urine samples in the lab area without registering. Then, Miss X approached me, tied the tourniquet so tightly around my upper arm that it was painful and actually left an indentation. After she inserted the needle, Miss X forcibly took my arm and held it on the table, saying "What? Haven't you done this before?" and "Listen, you said you were in a hurry." When she was finished, she commented with attitude "See, I'm putting your labels on the vials....just like I'm supposed to do." I signed my paperwork, she grabbed it, and as she walked back to the desk, she commented loudly "this place is a freakin' nightmare!" I hope Quest reads these reviews.....I noted that other Quest locations did not receive rave reviews.. read more

Having read the previous review I went to Quest in the Guild Building with some worry although I had been there many times before with no problem. I got there about 7:10. There is only one person on duty then so she has to register people and draw blood. One person was ahead of me. I signed in on a clipboard. When I glanced at the employee she said it would be a few minutes until she finished with the person ahead of me. it was only a few minutes. She was very pleasant. We chatted about early morning hours. She drew my blood as easily as it ever is and I was on my way about 7:30. At that time a second employee was coming to work. No problem. No complaint. read more
