The Quest GPS link sent me to the wrong location about 10 mins away from the North Port Location. I rushed to the North Port location and was about 10 mins outside of the window for my appointment. Upon arrival I was told that they were not taking walk-ins as it was the day after a holiday and they were closing early. The waiting room was completely empty and I was to have routine blood work done which takes less than 10 mins and they still could have closed on time for their early day. I was NOT a walk-in and had an appointment. In my early 20's I was actually a phlebotomist and know the time it takes to pull routine blood work. This location is more concerned about closing early than they are about patient care and consideration. I had to leave work this appointment and will now have to reschedule and leave work again. I find this to be PURE LAZINESS on the employees at this Quest Location. Absolutely HORRIBLE experience. read more

It's been a few years since I've visited Quest. Check in was so easy, just scan your drivers license and health insurance card. So much better than manually filling out forms! Marina took my blood sample. She was so gentle, I didn't feel a thing. And I was done and out the door in 13 minutes. read more

I read reviews for several different Quest locations near me. This one was the least scary, so I made the extra 15+ min drive. I'm glad I did! Like most people, I have a healthy apprehension of having blood drawn. This location was clean, efficient, and quick. I purchased my own test online, so I can't speak to the billing practices. However, I was able to check in on my phone which I appreciated, and was brought back 2 min before my appt time. The phlebotomist I had was wonderful, she made it quick and as painless as possible. I do wish there was a bit more communication when I was done. There was no instructions on how long results will take, when to take the gauze off, how to access my results, any instructions for the day, receipt/confirmation, asking me if I had any questions, etc. I guess it's to be expected with a company focused on quick turn over. DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION! Rude , arrogant, treat people like garbage. Zero professional respect and ethics. I am really in shock, will definitely file the complain to the general office and will write the letter to CEO. Nobody has the right to treat the patients like this . I went to this location few times and they were pretty consistent with their attitude, especially the location manager Marina. Few of my neighbors complained about her as well. Last time I went to Port Charlotte location and everything went smooth without any issues. read more

Very rude! They wouldn't gave a mask when I told them I don't have one,but they would only provide service for masked up people. Finally I went to got a mask they let me do the blood test. They "forgot" to do my covid antibody test what was added to my test request by my physician. The only reason why I needed blood work is to see my antibody levels. I had covid 3 month ago....It wasn't a big deal I was down for 3 days. Since that I've been donating blood where they also refused to let me know my antibody level. This whole blood work was for nothing....because they ignored my doctors order for the antibody. Of course they didn't forget to charge me! When I tried to call them no answer only automated answering. Very disappointed. I suggest you pick another blod testing site if you can. read more

I came for my appt and the lady at the window was very rude and demanded that I wear a mask. She nearly trew me out of the waiting room. I went back to my car and found a mask that I didn't know I had and was able to have my bloodwork done. I haven't experienced such a rude treatment, I guess ever in my life. I will not come to this place ever again. She could've accomplished the same in a nicer way.When I asked whether she had a mask to give me she said that I should've come with one. read more

I had an appointment for bloodwork to be done at the Quest Diagnostics Lab in North Port today. I am an extremely difficult patient to do a blood draw on. After the easy check-in process, I was called in for my appointment right on time. Anna was the phlebotomist assigned to me. It was indeed my lucky day! Anna was personable, professional and - best of all - got three vials of blood out of me with ONE STICK! That is absolutely unheard of in my experience. Anna is a rock star! Had to take my six yr old son in for lab work. I ended up having to reschedule due to the way it was written. We came back and they remembered us and they were all so great with him. It's very hard to find someone that is good with children and drawing lab work. Will use them in the future when needed that's for sure!!! read more

Extremely rude and condescending staff. Do not forget your mask. They will not attend to you and will not offer a complementary mask as most health care establishments do -- you will just be out of luck and loose your appointment. I will never visit this lab again. read more

I have had my orders sent to this location, and just saw the review from 5/11 from a patient complaining about being told to wear a mask. I am VERY grateful and feel much more comfortable going to this location knowing they are enforcing a mask requirement. I also just wanted to say "KUDOS" to the "lady at the window" for being "rude"--maybe next time the entitled person walking into a health care facility with no mask in the middle of a pandemic will think twice about risking the health of the staff and other patients. Please keep up the good work protecting our health over the feelings of people who feel entitled to do whatever they want at our expense. read more

My mother had an appointment there and one of the nurses there told her she needed a mask to be inside even tho there was no sign saying that she did before walked in. She asked the nurse if she had any masks and she says no she has to get one herself. After my mother realized my brothers name was misspelled on the sign in sheet for their appointment and so she told a nurse and the nurse said okay she'll look into it. After 40 min of waiting she still didn't get any updates and then finally she went back up and told another nurse and got the same response. Once they finally got inside to do my brothers blood work the nurse inside who was translating in Spanish was extremely rude to my mother wouldn't answer any questions nothing. Another person had walked in and they also told the other person that they needed a mask to be inside and the person said they didn't have any so the nurse said she'd be right back and got the other person one. I'm not sure if they were being racist or just ignorant but I would not recommend this place for anyone else. read more

I went in for annual blood work arrived at 7:50am there was 2 lady's in front of me and a few people leaving. I was checked in by Morgan and she was super kind and knowledgeable in her field. She drew my blood and I was walking out at 8:08. Fast service is what I like for early in the morning especially when I was fasting...I was ready for coffee! Super clean lab and on top of their game! I liked the people that work there they are very efficient with a smile. When they draw blood it's not so painful they know what they are doing and I have had a lot of blood drawn in my lifetime. I don't like that you have to make an appointment I am used to first comes first served. Thank you read more
