I had an excellent experience at this location. From the moment I walked in, the facility was noticeably clean, organized, and welcoming. Bri who assisted me was incredibly kind, attentive, and friendly. She explained everything before getting started, which immediately put me at ease. During the draw, she was so gentle that I didn't feel a thing -- truly one of the most comfortable blood draw experiences I've ever had. Afterward, she checked in with me and mentioned that if I had lotion on, the bandage might not stick as well, but reassured me that my blood was clotting perfectly. I really appreciated that level of communication and care. Overall, the combination of a spotless facility and exceptional staff made the whole visit smooth and stress-free. I was told to arrive 10 minutes before my appointment or I would be treated as a walk-in. That's fair. I did arrive 10 minutes before and checked in at the kiosk in the waiting room (quite easily). I was called in right on time, and Nina was an excellent phlebotomist. Hardly felt it, and I was done! I was out within 10 minutes of my appointment time. Also, no bruising. I had read some of these reviews and found out first hand that at least for me, they didn't apply to my visit. read more

The people who work at this location are fine. I have zero problem with them. The company has changed the website and the app, so that they no longer tell me that I have orders that need an appointment. That is a corporate decision. I learnt last week that the company received the orders for blood work on the day that they were sent, but the web site and app play dumb now. I went as a walk-in today, after 13 hours of fasting already and they didn't have appointments for another two hours. Once I finally was brought through the door, they couldn't find that my insurance would pay for the expense of the CBC or other more expensive blood work. Their prices have apparently risen a lot. It reminds me of Walmart when they had low prices to close all of the other stores in a town and once gone, they raised their prices again. They asked for a credit/debit card. I told the technician that I was not going to have them hold $1500 of my money. I approved the tests that the insurance would pay. The technician was kind and considerate. She wasn't in control. If there was another laboratory, I would go there. read more

Make sure you are not late if you have an appointment and be sure not to try and do a walk in past 3:30 they will not see you. They are trying to clock out! I did not have an appointment so I walked in and waited the two hours to be seen but I did not have a printed order. The lady sent me to go get a printed order so I did and returned and had to start waiting in line all over again. However when I did get called after waiting for about 45 minutes the second time I ended a phone call before walking back with her and she said "no phones allowed back here" I thought that was pointless because she heard me telling the person I had to go. I give her my order and she proceeds to tell me this is too much work and she was going to be closing soon. And that I should have made an appointment. She kicked me out and refused to help me. Went today for blood work and lady was nice but once she inserted needle it felt like she stabbed me so painful never experienced so much pain and then the pain I felt while she was withdrawing the blood! it was a horrible experience idk why this happened never in my entire life have I felt this much pain and to top it off I took off the tape and cotton ball an hour later and I already had a big bruise! never going back never be careful it just wasnt right! read more

I was next door at the nail salon yesterday and there was an elderly man who came into the salon asking for help. He asked us to call 911. He stated his ride never showed up and he was waiting outside for 2 hours on the planter and he was weak and dizzy and felt like he was going to pass out. The salon employee went over to the lab and the person stated the phone wasn't working, so she couldn't help him. She let him sit on the bench, with no ride and no phone for 2 hours. Then when I went outside to side with him, she left at 4oclock. Didn't look at him as she left. Who does this? Who at a medical clinic, leaves the elderly sitting outside for hours and doesn't help?!! I called 911, as the man requested, before I had the chance to speak with him. But after I got off the phone, I went and sat next to him, to find out he had no cell phone and no ride had come to pick him up. And he just needed. ride home. Which I would have done, no problem. It is unacceptable for a medical clinic to not assist a patient get a ride home. It's 2023, there is access to phones everywhere. She could have called an Uber for a ride, not left him alone, with no phone. I called the Manteca Quest offices, no answer and none have a voicemail. And I called the customer service line, was transferred 3 times and forced to leave a voicemail. Do better. read more

I arrived 15 minutes before closing just for a nasal swab and nobody was being seen or waiting so i thought i would be seen shortly. Then technician came out at 3:57 and told me they were closed and i said u guys close at 4 i've been waiting and she told me no i haven't been waiting and i told her i had been waiting to be seen since 3:45 and she said no i haven't and arguing with me about how long ive been there. They close at 4 and refused me service before closing. I'm not one to leave reviews but i am terribly sick and was told by my doc to go to quest at 330 so i can receive medicine and just got shit service. My husband and I were very disappointed when we went to walk in. We checked in and standby when it's my turn my name disappeared. I asked the sales associate if she was wearing a black black uniform with long hair and big eyes. I was just asking why my name just disappeared under standby she started talking to me, a little girl with a loud voice. She came back outside to bring me inside, but she won't stop mumble, humiliating me in front of people outside. I told her if you don't feel helping me or take my blood drawn, please don't do it. She's a dangerous woman. She let her co-worker take over his Gregg he was very helpful, courteous, and patient. He took care of it without attitude showing to me. Mr. Gregg knows what's her name is. Two weeks ago I visited Quest Diagnostics in the medical complex on Norman Dr in Manteca. Full disclosure: I hate going to get my labs done, the waiting rooms are always packed with patients, so you wait forever to be served by rude technicians. To ensure you get in and out quickly you got to be at the lab before it opens, & it's either a 6:00 or 6:30am opening. Ugh! A no-win situation. Surprisingly, the day I went to Quest I was the only one in the waiting room, and it was close to 9:00am. I got roomed right away. Covid19 was probably the reason for it. And the best part was I got a knowledgeable and VERY NICE! phlebotomist! In my past lab experiences, the technician isn't friendly, or makes no effort to make nice so the experience is a little more pleasant. The tech made nice small talk, probably to relax me as I was nervous (did I say I hate getting labs done?), & she told me everything she was doing, or going to do to draw my blood. Because of my dislike for labs I'm looking away the entire time so I can't see what's going on, so I appreciated her giving me a heads up before she inserted the needle. And there was less pain than what I remember--a good thing! And I was done in no time! I just hope I get the same nice experience when I return for a follow up in 3 months. read more

Rude service Doesn't honor appointments Plays musical chairs with their locations in spite of the new and old locations being less than a 1/4 mile apart. Do yourself a favor and drive to Stockton or Modesto and go to Labcorp. They honor their appointments and dont lose samples. I've found it's much faster to go to Labcorp even when you factor in the drive time. read more

I checked the website last night to confirm procedures and times. No appointments were available, but walk in were allowed. We arrived at 10:14. They close at 10:30. The office and parking lot was empty. We walked in wearing our mask. The employee asked if we had an appointment. When I replied, "No" she said that we needed an appointment. I told her that the website said we could walk in. She said that "appointments only" start at 10 am. What?!?! Doesn't make sense. You allow walkiin all morning and the last half hour is for appointment. Definitely left feelings as if she just didn't want to do two draws at end of her shift. Got it done in Modesto- they were much friendlier. Definitely worth a drive. read more

horrible , they allow you to check yourself in as a patient to their clinic to have your medical laboratory work done. You wait for hours on end and then when they close they send you away so even if you're sitting there for hours at this laboratory as long as they get to go home and they don't have to pay overtime and because it takes 40 minutes to process blood which I know it doesn't I have 25 years experience in phlebotomy lab laboratory experience in hospitals in clinical labs outpatient hospitals, geriatrics pediatrics ER OR as well as over 450,000 blood draws. It was very unethical that I had to wait there for over an hour and then be told just to go home because they don't have time anymore trying to explain their process of , how it's supposed "go"! unfortunately for them I have all of this experience so to watch them have missed appointments to watch people come in 10 to 15 minutes late to their appointment and still be taken back all well me and one other of gentlemen were sent home it would literally have taken less than 2 to 5 minutes to draw our blood if they took us back there together and worked as a team and got the blood drawn. Instead, they chose to allow us to go without our medical attention that we needed seeing is that we checked in the clinic before they were closed. I'm not understanding why they sent us home. I've never been in an ER where they said. Hey we're too busy you gotta go home. I've never gone and checked into my doctors office and they said hey we're too busy you gotta go home after waiting for hours. I wasn't the only customer upset this day. It was very sad to see the medical field from this standpoint as a patient. To know that these patients are being bullied, and not being given the medical attention and treatment that they deserve is to say the lease with lack of integrity shame on the medical field for this if you allow people to check into your clinic, then you're allowing them to be seen not sending them home after hours of waiting. And then to be verbally attacked by a older gentleman there I had to excuse him and allow him to excuse himself, because I had to explain to him that I was not having a conversation with him, and then him yelling his opinions to me from the side we're not working. That I was having a discussion with the phlebotomy in front of me , and then they both slammed the door in our face which is very unethical medically, and just in life in general, where is the empathetic and the sympathetic, as well as the do no harm do no harm that we are doing to these patients they needed their blood drawn, and they were ignored as well as other patients were allowed to come in 10 to 15 minutes late and we were still ignored. We were not taken in place of those patients either which that should've happened as soon as those patients were not there. They should've called the next patient that was waiting in line. However, they sat in the back just talking me being a morning phlebotomist doing 400 patients by myself in a manner of 3 1/half hours, having to go up and down elevators in and out of rooms, introducing myself identifying patients collecting specimens. I find it hard to believe that these phlebotomist are actually as busy as they think they are. Covid is over please don't allow this sensitive subject to keep allowing these patients to be mistreated , please feel free to reach out to me at any time for discussion. Kudos to this Quest Diagnostics center and Selena in particular. In this day and age service is often poor across the board. However, I want to highlight a recent, great experience at this location. I'm 85 years old and needed to get several lab exams. I'm usually apprehensive of these visits because I'm overwhelmed by the whole process from checking in to drawing blood samples. Selena, one of the techs, calmed me down and patiently guided me through the whole process. I rarely leave reviews but this one is a great exception. read more

I absolutely love Quest Diagnostics. I went to the one on East commerce in Manteca and absolutely fell in love with it! I went in a little earlier before my appointment and I was in and out 10 minutes later. The people that I dealt with are so so very nice and right on top of their job. Linda was the phlebotomist that I had and Linda was incredible. I did not even feel the needle going in and calming and just loved her attitude so sweet. I recommend this place to anyone that needs to have their blood drawn and if you want to deal with very nice people you should go here it is an amazing experience. I don't typically go to the Quest in Manteca but I just moved here so I gave it a try. The environment is clean and tidy. However, I went in at 9am Saturday morning (I know, probably should have gone during the week but they are open Saturday's so I took it.) I was seen fairly quickly but the girl (unfortunately I didn't get her name) was very annoyed that my insurance had changed and when I also tried to change my address she said "You know what, tell your doctor because I don't have time to be changing all this information for you. Do it on your time." Okay...then I had a few things to be done that I went in there for. I had a jacket on and asked her "what arm so I can take my sleeve off?", she replied "I don't care, just pick one". Okay, I stopped asking questions at this point. She then man handled my arm and bruised me where she tied the band because it was way too tight. She flicked the area where the needle was in my arm when the blood wasn't coming fast enough. THEN when all was done I had a urine sample to do, she told me to come back into the room when I was done to place it in a tray. When I went to do so, another patient was already in the room beginning their appointment. I felt very rushed and uncomfortable having to intrude on what was supposed to be the end of my appointment but the beginning of someone else's. read more

The most unfriendly people I've ever come across and getting up that early no food no water you really don't need to be greeted! And I say that "loosely" with such rudeness. Went in on a Tuesday morning for blood drawn. Staff was great, Nikki drew my blood with great skills. I didn't even feel a poke from the needle and when she changed out the vials she kept the needle steady and no "jerking" from the vial change. The level of incompetence with this lab is mind blowing! I am beyond frustrated and upset. Not only did they give me the wrong containers to collect a (very unpleasant and inconvenient) stool sample test, but then they did not label them properly so my test was not even run. No one bothered to call me and tell me either. It's just unacceptable! What a complete waste of time and energy. I DO NOT recommend going to this lab ever!! read more
