MAKE AN APPOINTMENT!!! This review is low because the office is deliberately short staffed. I've been coming here for over 20 yrs. There used to be at least two office staff. Now there are none. You check yourself in. This is unbelievably inefficient. Many patients are elderly and not comfortable with technology. The phlebotomists are frequently pulled from their main job to assist people. Wait times with appts still exist because of this. This office has approx 6 exam rooms but they only have 3 phlebotomists working. Your time isn't respected. While they do offer walk in service I wouldn't recommend it because you'll be waiting for hours. The kiosk states your wait time averages 40-60 minutes but could be longer. I arrived before the office opened and left without being seen after 3 hours. You'll be sitting there for hours and this isn't an exaggeration. The staff don't appear to have built in time to get their stations ready. The doors open at 6:30 but people aren't called until after 6:45am. The 1st appt available is 6:30 but I went out two months to schedule and couldn't find that appt. open but plenty of 6:40am which leads me to believe this is a phantom appt. time. The staff are not at fault here. They are doing their best. The fault lies with the corporation. read more

Front desk was very courteous and gave me personal updates on my wait times as I was just a walk-in. I tried two other locations in Folsom and Sacramento earlier that day and this location was exceptional in comparison . Everything was very clean and professional. They addressed all paperwork in advance so no issues with billing or insurance would arise later . Definitely would utilize this location again. read more

I went in this morning to get some labs drawn, and arrived about 20 minutes before my scheduled appointment time. I went ahead and checked in and then sat down to wait. No sooner had I taken a seat, I was called back for the labs. The phlebotomist was very friendly, professional, quick, and the draw was painless. I was impressed, especially in light of other reviews, and would go there again myself, and recommend to others. read more

Not only was the procedure done incorrectly- my left arm suffered temporary nerve damage. I reached out to the corporate department for them too follow up with the poor and very dangerous actions of their staff. I was ignored by the territory manger Christina for weeks on end. I have message and phone calls left unanswered. Cindy from corporate did all she could to from afar. There is no desk help. I made two appointments for my husband and myself. I had to use the same phone number for both appointments because he can't do online appointments. They could only take one of us and said I needed another phone number for the second appointment. We were told we would have to standby for the 2nd appointment. There was a gentleman waiting for a "Standby appointment" in the lobby for 2 hours!! Heck with that! All this computer check-in crap is costing jobs and making for HORRIBLE customer service. We dove 25 miles to get here for nothing. My husband was infuriated with this computer check-in and making appointments. It's no good for Senior citizens. read more

This place was awful! If I could've given them negative stars I would've. I've been going here for weeks now, on a standing order from my doctor. Today however, they wouldn't accept the insurance card that was accepted in all previous visits. I always make an appointment for my visits, to no avail. I still have to stand outside and wait in the heat. Twice now the blood draw resulted in bruising all around my arm from a tourniquet pulled so tight I couldn't stand it. The phlebotomists talked to me like I was a child, and was unnecessarily rude, when I asked her to confirm the test she drawing blood for. She told me to get off my phone when looked at it for the time (I was running late for my next appointment). Avoid this place if you can. Just awful; especially when you are already sick. read more

This is where I bring my mom and my dad for laboratory . We come all The way to Lodi just to do some test. So why do we have to come here instead of going to our city ? Well that's bec this place is not always pack . One thing I realized why other ones are so packed . It's bec . I don't see a lot of employees working in other branch. In most of the branches in stockton they have only 1 person in the front . And usually that person is the one collecting the blood. So technically one person do it all. So that's why all of the patients are piling up and impatiently waiting . But here . There's a lot of employees I see, and they work as a team. U did not have to wait too much bec pretty much after ur called ur done. So we don't see a lot of people waiting in the waiting area. How cool is that . Place is clean , employees are respectful not grumpy . And I can't think any negative about the service here. So anybody from my city and u feel like u want to have a good day , just have ur test done here and u won't be sorry . read more

On October 5th, I scheduled an appointment for a Drug Screen on October 18th. Upon my arrival, my appointment had been voided as the location no longer accepted Drug Screens. For nearly two weeks, I received no contact and drove to the location for no reason. One staff member attempted to redirect my drug screen to a third party and goes as a walk-in. Quest Diagnostics couldn't give me an alert ahead of time to schedule an appointment at a different location? read more

I've yet to receive more incompetent, rude, unaccommodating service than at the Ham Lane lab. I scheduled an appointment online, chose expedited check-in, entered all my Insurance information, with identification only to be turned away for not having the insurance information I had already provided online, and once again upon automatic check-in. I was told I was neither permitted to use my son's card with the same exact information on it, nor have my wife send a picture of the front and back of my card. Sadly, everyone in the waiting room had an appointment, yet half the people were left standing, including the old and infirm. read more

Nice location and convenient but the girls working the front desk are so RUDE! It's apparent the bare minimum is all they strive for at best. They weren't any help for answering any of my questions, their answers were generic and ambiguous. A client (stranger to me) in the lobby noticed my frustration and she provided me with more information than these girls were willing to at their job! If my lab work had not been time sensitive I would have left and gone to Stockton instead. read more

5 stars for the in and out service. I almost don't want to write that because I don't want everyone rushing up here. The guy Matt who did my blood work wasn't the friendliest but he wasn't necessarily unfriendly either. I tried to tell him that they usually can't get my blood on the first draw but low and behold him did. He didn't acknowledge we telling him that but whatever. One poke, in and out in less that 20 minutes is definitely worth 5 stars. read more

Don't come here without an appointment. The staff is friendly, but if you're not already sick you most certainly will leave sick after sitting for an hour in a waiting room full of sick coughing people. The waiting room is consistently full and they are very very slow here. read more

Let me begin by disclosing that I get horrible anxiety from the idea of getting my blood drawn. I have had many experiences where I become very faint as a result, hence why I came prepared with my apple juice. The woman in the front had a great personality (wish I could remember her name) and I appreciated her effort to keep a conversation going as she drew my blood. It worked for a while, but then the lightheadedness began to creep and I was in a full blown panic episode. She told me to take my time, and to sit and wait until I felt better and offered me water. I'm sure to some this may seem like a "whatever" experience but I appreciated her concern and efforts, a lot. Her humor totally helped, so thank you for lightening the mood and making my horrendous anxiety filled experience more "tolerable," to say the least read more

I had to get a titer test for a new job and Concentra wasn't able to get it done so they sent me to Quest. I have a phobia of blood draws so I was incredibly nervous, and I didn't make an appointment so I had to wait around for nearly an hour before I was seen but that was understandable since it was a very busy Saturday morning. When I was finally called back I informed the phlebotomist who performed the draw that I was very anxious and might panic or even pass out and on top of that I have small veins and am usually a difficult stick. Her name was Katie and she was very accommodating and reassuring, she used a butterfly needle and talked to me the whole time. She wasn't able to get it so she called in another phlebotomist who also wasn't able to get it. Luckily the third phlebotomist who tried was able to collect the sample (they are only able to try 3 times before they send you away for the day so you can only imagine my relief here) and I was on my way. My 4 star rating is because of my experience with the second phlebotomist who tried, I unfortunately don't remember her name but she told me that my excessive scar tissue was the reason that she couldn't get it. It was frankly a bit rude and also completely incorrect, I do have quite a bit of scarring on my arms but none even remotely close to the spot that she tried. I have had far worse experiences with blood draws and as far as I'm concerned most of the staff at Quest seemed to be very nice and accommodating. read more

Be careful of this place. I went in there for a pre employment drug screen. Never had a problem peeing in my life, mind you. Well today I could not pee. Tried, didn't happen. Unbeknownst to me, if you leave and try to come back later it's an automatic fail to your potential employer. So you wait.. and wait... the little asian guy doing the rest told me I am only allowed to have 4 ounces of water every hour... I was reading online while I was waiting and you're allowed to have 40 ounces distributed evenly over a three hour period... I asked for more water and was given more.. they should really advise you and know what the hell they're talking about. If you leave and cant pee by the time your three hours is up, your employer will withdraw your job offer because it's considered an automatic fail. I asked for the manager and they hid in a back office and wouldn't come out to talk. Know you're rights and stay away from this unprofessional DUMP. Another thing, I'm over listening to your employees chit chat up at the front desk about non work related things. They are rude and dismissive. It's not social hour up there. You're at work!! Now please go get me some water and stop acting like I'm interrupting your tea party up there when I ask you something!!! These unprofessional little twits at the front counter can cost you a job offer if you just go on there assuming you're going to be able to pee. read more
