Very fast and extremely friendly. They know what they're doing. My husband and I went there for blood work without an appointment and were taken right away. We got all our work done quickly and the employee was very nice to talk to. She explained what was going on and made it a fun non scary experience. read more

I hear all these really horrible things about the wait times at Quest and I'm here to tell you - you just have to game the system and show up earlier than everyone else! Lunch time is NOT the time to walk in! I didn't have an appointment, but needed to get blood work done fairly quickly. I decided to head into Quest at about 6:45am the day after getting my requisition form from my doctor to expedite the process. I could have gotten an appointment, but scheduling through their website put me at three weeks out - no thanks. They open at 6:00am, so I figured it would work out fine for me to show up unannounced and walk in. I walked in around 6:45 and I was out of there by 7:10am, with plenty of time to get to work without being late. There were a few people checking in that had appointments for 7:00am as I was walking in, but they honored my call-in and took me anyway. It was clean, quiet, and the phlebotomist was professional - I requested a room that I could lie down in since I tend to get queasy from getting blood drawn and they were able to accommodate that, no problem. I was able to sit in the room a couple of extra minutes to regain my balance with no rush or pressure, and I walked out on my own time. I really appreciated that part of the experience more than anything. read more

Amazingly quick service. After realizing on a Friday morning that I had been slacking and needed to have blood taken before an MRI on the following Monday I quickly googled Quest offices close to my office and made an appointment online for lunchtime that day. I arrived a little late but signed in and had barely a chance to get settled in the waiting room when I was called in to complete the paperwork and once I had handed over my ID and insurance card was immediately taken into the room where a very sweet young lady took my blood sample, had me sign that it corresponded with the label that she put on the tube and I was on my way! read more

I had to go to Quest a couple of time recently for routine blood tests as recommended by my Dr. I was able to easily schedule the tests online and create an account the first time, so scheduling for the second test was a breeze. The appearance of the office itself is very pleasant, thought they could work on their admittance procedures as they are very impersonal. When you walk in, you walk up to the reception window where a clipboard is waiting for you. At this point you simply print your name and take a seat. No one will call you up or ask for any more information until they are ready for you. This presented to be a problem as the wait times are very long even with an appointment. The first time I waited 10 minutes, the second time 30 minutes - why even bother with appointments!? Then an additional 10 minutes waiting in the room the second time because another person that had been waiting even longer was given instructions on how to collect the sample himself at home. This is where their system is flawed. Had they talked to us at the beginning they could have learned I was an in and out blood draw (once the phlebotomist got to me it was 5 mins tops), and he didn't even have to go in and his time was just completely wasted, I was irate for him. This is something the receptionists could have done before they went home - we waited there past closing time for them to get to us, the receptionists were gone. Otherwise, the phlebotomists were ver friendly both times and quick and painless; which is great for me since blood draws make me very nervous and unfortunately I've had too many needles stuck in me lately. The only complaint about the staff other than the organization (though that's really management) is on my first visit the lady that called me to the back and processed my prescription and insurance was very impersonal and downright rude. She gave me the distinct feeling that I was just another number in her assembly line, I was glad I didn't have to deal with her again and that she wasn't the phlebotomist as that would have been very unpleasant. Though the wait was long, the early morning appointment was quicker and the draw was quick and painless. I would come back here on a morning appointment. read more

This is by far the cleanest Quest in Ft Lauderdale with a caring staff. However be prepared to have people that walk in after you have showed up for your scheduled appointment to be seen before you. If they would follow the schedule the post on the tv I would give them a 5 star read more

This location of Quest Diagnostics is unbelievably awful. The employees are rude, they are inefficient, they cannot keep to their schedule, and they make their patients/customers uncomfortable in the process. I may be forced to go to another Quest Diagnostics location sometime in my future, but never to this cesspool of an operation. read more

Employees in this lab are really disrespectful and not even professional employees like they supposed to be. Rude, with attitude and unprofessional! So ratchet also. read more

Here for my annual labs...and I'm pretty impressed with the fast service, organization, and cleanliness of the overall site. The wait can be a bit long as they are very busy so bring entertainment and get comfortable. My only concern is the space to interact with the intake employee. People waiting in the area can hear your responses to all the question you must answer to begin the process. read more

This is probably the worst quest diagnostic I've been too , the staff is very unprofessional and rude came here for a drug screening a year ago and tried to use another lab in the same plaza to do the screening , just to go to the the other lab and being told that they always send their drug screenings over there and are being lazy and to go back ,than a year later came to the same quest it's still the same "unprofessional , rude, lazy making up excuses about why they cause do the drug screening!! read more

I always go there and today I send my daughter with her dad, first they do not let a minor enter with the parent and second they had to do the test like three time, that is terrible. read more

Scheduling is nearly 2 weeks out at this time. No walk-ins accepted. Can't get prescribed medicine for my illness until I have test results, but cannot get bloodwork done for 2 weeks. People's health is at risk, please find a way to have availability within 3-5 days or take walk-ins. read more

The lady that I was assigned to was very helpful to give me the history of my accounts and she was very accommodating and funny. I also didn't feel a thing when my blood was drawn. I really appreciate Quest diagnostics for using technology and having little wait time. I'm impressed. They have the sign in tablet when you come in to confirm your appointment. And their flat screen TV automatically adjust to show you how many minutes until you are called. They are very prompt in keeping that time so you will soon hear your name be called. The process is quick and easy and painless. Wish it was like this in most health practices nowadays! read more

Disgusting! The staff was unfriendly and rough when drawing blood. I was left with a terrible bruise which is not customarily the case in these circumstances. The ladies room was filthy and the trash can broken so could only be opened manually. read more

Why would they make me wait 40 minutes and only tell me they're running late and understaffed after I ask why I haven't been seen yet? Isn't that the job of the receptionist to tell the people waiting if they're running late? This receptionist actually got mad at me when I asked! If I were told when I arrived, then I would have rescheduled and that would have helped the other people waiting. My time is valuable and I resent being treated like cattle. I asked to reschedule and she refused and told me to keep waiting even though she told me she had no idea when I'd be seen. I ended up leaving without rescheduling. I won't go back. read more

They said 30 minutes when I asked, it's been hour and a half already and I'm still waiting.... and now the time by my name on the screen here went up from 16minutes to 20 minutes. read more

Clean and people very nice. but still waiting for my appointment. Why does the medical industry set appointments when they can never keep them. It all should be drop in only. read more

I was attended to by inger at the e. commercial location in ft Lauderdale she was painless and very quick and efficient very satisfied

By far this is absolutely the worst QD I've been to! My appointment was at 10:30, I arrived at 10:20. I've seen one person go back in 40min! Unlike the other locations I've been to no one greeted me or was at the window. In other locations it was a smooth running process in a timely manner, seems like the other centers cared for those fasting and tried to get to them as soon as possible. So I'm 45min in and no one has yet to even acknowledge me or call me back to see my insurance card and lab sheet. what a joke! Corporate needs to get in here and do something! Customers are pretty angered at this point and people are complaining and asking why so long? What's going on? read more

First off they lost my test results. It took an hour for someone to finally test me for a drug screen. So unorganized a lady that worked there got her car keyed and every employee ran out to look at the car fit 10 minutes while I'm waiting to take the test. This place is so unorganized and unprofessional. So I go back a week later to take another drug screen and this place has a sign on the door for the wrong date in June!!! I highly recommend finding another place to go. read more
