    I came to pick up a 24 hr urine jug, and to get some bloodwork done. There was no way to reach anyone before coming in to ask a question - you had to go through a huge number of prompts just to transfer to a national customer service center. This took me nearly an hour both times, and didn't have any info about the location. I actually had to tell them that this location existed because they were trying to send me to E 29th street. I had a new drs appointment with my doc because the questions were too much, apparently, and needed a new appointment to answer so I could go do original test. The blood draw was fine, though there were far too many questions about my routine urine and blood draw. I would have given the first part of this process a 5 star review. The service center isn't their fault, I would reason. Upon return with the urine jug, you're not supposed to need an appointment. No information on how long until the sample expires, so I called again and spent an hour on the phone to hear "we don't know, but às soon as possible". So I hurried back. You don't need an appointment. Walk-ins are not guaranteed to be seen, but if you are dropping off a sample then you can choose that prompt on the check in touchscreen. Unfortunately, none of these attempts to prep made any difference. I would rate the return visit as 1 star. The reason is because it should be easy to drop off a sample. My sample has no identifying data on it, so I didn't want to abandon it until I saw a sticker with my name on it. Not that I think these folk would intentionally corrupt my sample, but that it happens sometimes. It has happened to me more than once and I've been told to perform due diligence as I want the correct sample recorded under my name. I brought the jug. I checked in as 19. 20 was the number assigned to the walking behind me. The wait was immense. Then I had to go to the back and try explaining why there wasn't any other paperwork included. It wasn't in the system correctly. They were frustrated, I understand that. The end result was a weird situation where i was being kinda blame for there not being more info, and also not being allowed to leave my urine. My urine had no writing on the label and I asked if I should add it and they said no. I worried that my results may belong to someone else because of this. It felt like both visits I was the customer they used to train new staff. I don't think my doctor was asking for something outrageous. Not sure why it was so difficult. Then, the blooodwork appeared in online rest but the urine data was lost and I had to call 3 offices and make 2 online accounts before talking to the right person who could make the results appear correctly. What a hassle. first visit 5 stars 2nd visit 1 star chasing down bloodwork and urine Labs 1 star bringing total down between 2 and 3 stars total this is sad because the employees are very nice, which is an irreplacable asset but the hassle was not more convenient than having Labs done at hospital instead.

    This place is out of control!! I repeat out of control IN THE WORST WAY POSSIBLE!! I went there for a simple drug test, a.k.a urinate in a cup. A simple quick 10 minute process. As per my employer and quest there is no appointment needed. I signed in and they were a few people in front of me which I understand but, I waited over an hour!!! Over one hour!! No one came out and spoke with me, nothing. I work in the medical field and from the standpoint of a healthcare provider either they are VERY VERY understaffed or they just need to have a better system. After waiting for over an hour, there was no staff that sits at the desk for you to ask whats going on so I just left. I WILL NEVER COME BACK. ITS A FACTORY.CORRECTION; AN UNDERSTAFFED FACTORY.

I entrusted them with my blood samples, which were critical for my health, only to discover that they have lost them and are denying ever receiving them. This is not just an inconvenience; it's a complete breach of trust and responsibility. Despite providing them with a signed document confirming that my samples were received, I have been met with nothing but silence and evasiveness from their staff. No one will speak to me, no one will address my concerns, and it feels as if my urgent health matters are being dismissed. This is unacceptable for a facility that claims to prioritize patient care. Furthermore, I'm left wondering if their imminent closure is related to their inability to manage basic operations effectively. I can't help but think that if they can't handle something as critical as blood samples, what other serious issues are they hiding? I urge anyone considering Empire City Labs for their medical needs to think twice. Your health deserves better than this level of negligence and disregard for patient welfare.

Even the front desk staff kept getting up to leave to move her car several times. Which was quite unprofessional of her to do more than once. She was gone so the phlebotomist was working the front too. I don't know how they run this office, if they're all cross trained or what, but the front staff are not particularly warm or friendly with patients. I was not seen at my appointment time and it took an entire hour to get 2 tubes of blood. The older woman who took care of me was the friendliest of the trio but I could tell she was being stretched thin with the various tasks pulling her in different directions at the same time. Running from the front to the back and trying to take care of everything. The younger ladies seem to hate their job and the patients because their faces are unable to hide their obvious annoyance. I totally get that, but I mean fake it, no? That' what we all do when we work customer facing jobs. Some patients are annoying but it won't help if you're annoyed with us right from the get go. This location has terrible reviews but it was convenient for my schedule at the time. I have one last blood specimen I need for collection, which they didn't have blood culture bottles at the time of my visit but even if they restock them I won't be returning here. Long story short, they take too long, and the whole office is scattered and not run well or efficiently. Labcorp needs to staff and manage their locations better. This is not a comfortable or pleasant experience for patients. I don't recommend coming here for your lab work.

If you hate your job then quit or find somewhere else. If I ever need to go to another Labcorp I will definitely not be coming back to this location.     I was definitely not happy with my experience. I made an appointment online at this location to get…read morea PCR test done and the system allowed it to go through, so I thought I was good to go. When I get there for my appointment, I waited 10 mins before someone came and told me to go to StatCare next door to get it done (I assumed they were affiliated with each other). The front desk employee at StatCare said they were not affiliated with each other and she had no one to administer the PCR test since it was a Jewish holiday. She also mentioned that staff from this Quest location did the same thing yesterday to their other patients. I go back to the Quest employee explaining that StatCare didn't have anyone to help me and she just gave me the same answer: "I don't have any kits to administer." Why wasn't I notified in advance at all?? I would've changed locations if I knew there weren't going to be any tests! I needed this test done TODAY to attend a wedding this weekend! The Quest Diagnostics employee gave me no options, nor did she even give me any other locations to go to, I had to google it myself. Now I'm scrambling to see if any other Quest locations will administer a PCR test to a walk-in patient (aka ME). I will not be coming back for PCR tests unless I'm forced to. Update: I was not able to find any Quest Diagnostics locations that would take walk-ins for PCR tests, but NYC Health + Hospitals (6315 14th Ave) had tests available for me as a walk-in so I was relieved. If Quest Diagnostics does the same thing to you, please go to NYC Health and Hospitals instead!

I went to all other locations and didn't get bruises and the process was smoother
