Everything went very well. In and out. The girl that did the blood draw was very quick and I don't even have a bruise left

Clean location and convenient, nurse was very rude. Not a great feeling when the rude nurse is going to stick a needle in your arm.

However, there were several concerns during the draw: - He did not wash or sanitize his hands even though hand sanitizer was available on the side table and I offered it verbally. - He brought only one pair of gloves and used them after touching a non-sterile pillow, with no clean pair to switch into. - After using alcohol to prep the site, he wiped the site with a rough gauze that accidentally scratched my skin. (Past phlebotomists just let it air dry.) - The pressure wrap applied afterward wasn't even looped around my arm twice, so it didn't stay in place.

My doctor ordered a test kit that other labs wouldn't touch. The doctor's office suggested a local…read moremobile phlebotomist which included Remon's business. He was very quick to respond and when I called, he was able to stop by the same day as he was near by. He provided an estimated time and texted me updates when he would arrive. When he arrived, he was well prepared and checked over the test kit and noticed that the mailing bag was missing which I was able to easily find. He was very quick and it was very obvious he has a lot of experience. He explained what the test required running it through a centrifuge before he can mail it to the lab. He was done very quickly and was out the door in only a few minutes. This was so convenient that I plan to check with him for my future lab work.

Doctor Jin requested a follow-up appointment even before my test result was out. They should evalutate my test result first and then decide if a follow-up appointment is required. The follow-up appointment took less than 10 minutes and it cost $132.82 out of pocket. I was never told that the follow-up appointment would cost extra money. They didn't tell me why it was necessary to schedule the follow-up appointment. They don't care how much money the patient will pay! Not recommend!

One week later I met with the doctor. Our conversation was less than ten minutes, and my test results were normal. Then I received a bill for $206 using billing code 99213. I was confused because this code does not apply to my situation. I don't have any of the components listed for the billing code. I called their billing department, but they don't have a satisfactory explanation as to why I am being billed this amount. I did some research on this situation. If my test results were good, the doctor didn't make any medical decision. He was supposed to tell me the result by phone free of charge rather than requested a follow-up appointment which costed me $206.

Can you believe this? She did apologize that this is the company's policy (to obtain personal information from the caller). Sounds like a person not using her brain and just following orders clearly for anyone looking to discuss a particular patent and applying it to any situation or anybody. Before you can say a word, the protocol is "your name and date of birth"? And they will keep repeating that and not allow you to speak. Imagine this: Me: "What are", interrupted already Patient First: "Name and date of birth" Me: "Do you treat XXX" Patient First: "Name and date of birth" Me: "Will all doctors treat xxx if I come in on XXX" Patient First: "I won't tell you unless you give me your name and date of birth and address" Me: "What?" "How about if you open on weekends and I can just walk in right?" Patient First: " It's my job to obtain this info before I can answer anything as we are told to DOCUMENT every call" Maybe they need to document to avoid lawsuits related to patients but in doing so with little training, they are also risking more legal trouble potentially by being in violation of privacy laws by intentionally collecting personal info of callers who are not patients and are not asking questions about patient medical account.

In one instance I was diagnosed with pneumonia and the doctor asked me to follow up in a few days to ensure that the medication was working and that my symptoms were improving. Never in all my life have I had an urgent care doctor ask that I follow up with them, usually it is just instruction to follow up with my primary care and/or my pulmonologist.
