I took my son to this location yesterday. I forgot the referral , I signed him in under my name .... Pretty much did everything wrong. Debra was soooooo kind. Helped me print my referral, helped find the fax number and was so patient having to re-register my son. Dasiah, and Monique were so helpful getting everything ready and drawing his blood. All of this was twenty minutes before they closed. We didn't leave until 5min after they closed. They didn't rush or act aggravated we were taking longer ( I'd be bummed if I had to stay after we closed lol) best experience you could have !!!!!!!!!!!! Will only go to this clinic. read more

The entire (small) staff at this Quest location (Annandale, VA) went over and above to help me on this visit (November 2024). There was a paperwork mishap (my doctor made the mistake) that required extra--and IMO excessive--computer input by Quest staff. I'm also a hard stick but I'm always treated with respect and compassion at this Quest office. Please give them all a raise or at least provide a roomier/up to date work environment! They all work very hard, demonstrate impressive teamwork, and sure deserve it. read more

Often when I get blood drawn, my veins role or they're just small and hard to find. The women working at this location always get the needle in the vein quick, easy, and on the first go without any vein rolling or any veins blowing out. I always just show up as a walk in and there's hardly any wait. The only reason I give it a 4 instead of 5 is because quest diagnostics itself doesn't offer some of the blood tests I need and one time they accidentally put in an order for the wrong blood test, but the staff is great and is frequently my go-to for the blood work that quest diagnostics does offer. read more

There are multiple locations closer and more convenient to me. But, this one had decent reviews so I chose to go with this one. Plenty of parking (more so probably because of the virus situation), easy to get in and out of. Check-in took me less than a minute as you do it on an iPad thingy and it scans a code from your phone. They had plenty of signs that required everyone to wear a mask before coming inside. Plenty of hand sanitizer or gloves for people if needed. After checking in, I think I waited 2 minutes before being called to the back (early for my appointment). I believe her name was Lisa, and she verified my information and took my blood with zero issues quickly and professionally. Verified my information on the vial...told me when they'd let me know the results...and I was gone. I think I spent 5 minutes total in the place. It's nothing fancy, but they seem good at their job from my short interaction/experience. Hopefully my results come quickly...but that would be a review of the company as a whole and not specific to this location. read more

This is the best place to go to for lab work in all of Northern Virginia. Period. The location is clean and neat with safety protocols in place. The staff (two ladies) was super nice, friendly and professional. They greeted us when we arrived. We waited about 2 minutes before our names were called. The rude snotty witch at the desk wouldn't take me for my appointment bc I was 9 minutes late.... even though you have to wait outside for her to take her sweet ass time to let you in. She is unprofessional, slow, unkempt and clearly hates her life. read more

Had an easy time coming in and out for a blood test. I had scheuduled it for the McLean VA location at Chain Bridge Road with a time slot reservation etc etc but when I arrived at the McLean Quest site it was closed with broken air conditioning. So seeing that the Annandale VA location got good reviews, I listened to Yelpers and went over there. Good call. With no reservation, there was "0 minutes" wait which turned into about 3 or 5 minutes -- fast. Lab tech Jeredine Serry was polite and efficient. The experience was pleasant and friendly. This is a great location. Short lines. read more

This was my first time at this location and I registered online to get the appointment (highly recommend this step). I arrived 5 minutes early for my 8:30 appointment and was pleased to see Covid safety protocols in place including only 3 patients allowed in the waiting room at a time. I stepped outside in the hall way since I was advised it was only a 5 minute wait and in a few minutes was called in and my blood drawn. I was out by 8:40. Very professional and efficient office. My name is Rodger Young. I called Quest Diagnosis and question them about a bill 8526461966. After waiting 20 minutes to talk to them. Finally got one of the rudest and nattiest females' I have ever experienced in a customer service role. After asking her to slow down in her talk to me at a slower pace. She was talking like she had to go to a race. Then when she started talking to me it was a belligerent to real slow. My question was not answered. I will never use this service again. read more

Lisa is the best Phlebotomist is have ever found. I am not an easy blood draw due to teensy tiny veins and a hatred of needles, but she manages to find the best vein every time. Not to mention she makes for great conversation, always cares how i'm doing, how the family is etc. and manages to make me laugh. shes awesome!! Clean location and convenient, nurse was very rude. Not a great feeling when the rude nurse is going to stick a needle in your arm.

Great group of techs here. Edawna and Lisa are above par... extremely friendly, professional and skilled! Our doctor messed up the order for the test and they identified the mistake right away and checked with the doctor again. Lisa went above and beyond her duties when a gentleman walked in as she was leaving for the day. She came back in to conduct the test as the gentleman was more comfortable with her. read more

Only one star because I can't give it zero. I have to do an annual blood draw for my employer. Last year I did it at the Quest on Woodburn Road and the experience was fine. This year, I went to this one because it is closer to home. There is no signage telling you where Quest is in this non-descript building on Little River Turnpike, so pick a lobby and check the directory. Elevator to the seventh floor. Waiting room with many people, too few chairs, and not the antiseptic look that I hope for in a medical facility. No eye contact from the attendant when signing in. Called for my appointment fifteen minutes after the time (in fairness, I arrived two minutes late - see "lack of signage"). Showed order on phone, attendant looks at me like I have three heads. They insist they need a printout of my order and there is no possible way around that... except the discussion was less nice than that. Head home to reschedule at a different location. My advice: Maintain your dignity and get your work done somewhere that has a half ounce of service mentality and does not have a deep loathing for people. read more

Professional and efficient. Just what you want from a medical/health diagnostic outfit. I had a pre-employment drug screen, and it was quick and simple. A pleasant surprise after the absolute horror of trying to get that done at the Quest Diagnostic facility at 6162 Fuller Court, Alexandria. Quest, you should fire the lady at Fuller Court ... she's a nightmare liability waiting to happen. Bat-shit crazy. At the very least, you need to put her through a drug screening. I visited in early December 2014. When I had trouble getting Quest's online appointment app to accept the available time slot I picked, I phoned Annandale directly. I wanted to try a different location after bad xperiences with the parking (and no chairs), overcrowded office in Alexandria. It was only an hour until Annandale closed, but the woman answering the phone said not to worry about an appintment, just come in; I had told her I was 20 minutes away and only needed routine bloodwork. The office building was not hard for me to find because I made sure to note th exact building address and office number, and follow the Bing directions. I always look at a satellite photo as well. I knew thre were office buikldings grou[d on both sides of Rt 236 but there are small signs with arrows on the access route, and a big set of numbers on each building. In the offie, there were plenty of chairs. I was seen quickly, and most important for me: The phlebotomist was PAiNLESS, ERROR-FREE and skilled at inserting a Butterfly in a hand vein, because I cannot deal with regular syrunges in the crook of my elbow. I need more bloodwork done and will again driev baout 10 miles to use this Quest location. I took one star away because you have to be absolutely outstabding to get 5 star from me and the chairs were uncomfortable. . read more

Agree with the previous rater. If I could give this place a zero, I would! I had blood work done at this location a few months ago to check my magnesium levels and the attendant was VERY rude - no eye contact and when she did need to interact with me, she acted as though I was a huge inconvenience to her. Today I went to have my blood drawn for my annual physical. When I walked in, there were no chairs available in the waiting area. I signed in and after a few minutes realized that I would probably be way too late for work if I waited, so I walked up to the receptionist to ask how long the wait was likely to be. Before I even said anything, she barked that I needed to sign in and shoved the sign in sheet towards me. I let her know that I had already signed in and wanted to know approximately how long the wait would be. She said if I didn't want to wait, I should make an appointment and pointed at the appt cards. Please note that she did not answer my question. Given that I had no clue how long I'd have to wait and the place looked less than sanitary, I decided to leave. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else to get your blood work done! read more
