Extremely rude staff. Check in is often faulty and if you ask a genuine question they are very annoyed. Sending orders is extremely confusing and difficult, they give no guidelines on how to. Don't come here get it done somewhere else. Some people are fighting illness or diagnoses and they couldn't be more insensitive. Rene is the only good one. read more

Had an appt for 3pm today. At 2pm received another confirm for appointment. Came at 3pm exactly only to see a printed sign on the door "closed due to AC not working". Everything absolutely everything there is automated. So they couldn't send out a text saying, sorry, canceled. No. Of course they couldn't!!! Almost 2 hours waisted traveling to get there and back. Truly disappointed. They have NO one in front to ask any questions. U need to check in via iPad station. Annoying af!!!! Horrible. Sadly, they monopolize this testing business and there is nowhere else to go!!!! So so so disappointing... The amount of money they bill insurance for testing should be enough to staff a person at front....awful... read more

My review is about the cold atmosphere of Quest computer sitting area. I've been to 2 different locations of Quest and is impossible to ask questions to a real person. Everything is now a software and no one cares about customer service. This feels horrible and I rather go to other company that you can speak with a real person. I went to Labcorp in Agoura and is much better to find a real person when you walk in the office. I would give them mine 5 stars if I could. Seriously. Upon arrival, there is no one there to check you in. If the employee had not gone out the door, we would not have been seen by the lab tech. The lab tech made us feel extremely unwelcome and as if she truly was overwhelmed by taking a urine analysis. Now it is over ten days and our doctor has yet to hear back from them. If you try calling to follow up with them, you only receive recorded messages. There is no way to get ahold of anyone! #unreal read more

No stars. Go to Lab Corp. if you need blood work done. I had gone to Lab Corp. For 5 years before my old doctor left the state and they charged my Medicare every time and I never owed them anything. Quest, even after getting my Medi-Medi information is charging me personally for everything. I did research and Quest has a lawsuit for over charging Medi-Cal and taking kick backs from doctors. They are a fraudulent company and I hope the lawsuit gives them more than a slap on the wrist. The 1 star was needed to submit. I give them 0 stars. read more

I have a huge phobia of blood draws and needles. I was so scared for my appointment and I saw so many bad reviews which only freaked me out more. When I arrived I checked in on the tablet and almost immediately they called me in for my appointment. No waiting at all. I told the phlebotomist about my phobia and she was so sweet and understanding and brought me to a room where I could lie down. It was done in like 30 seconds and she checked in on me and brought me water after. It was such a good experience and if anyone else had a phobia and is reading the reviews, don't get freaked out by the bad ones. Always seems slow and endless long waits. Not sure what the point of an appointment is, when you still have to wait forever. Very inefficient and pretty incompetent to be honest. The technicians seemed disorganized and not very sterile-minded! One had his rubber gloves on but was changing toilet paper with them on. Didn't see any sign of him changing them before the next patient. This is a company that has over expanded through greed and has compromised efficiency and standards, towards its customers. The reason it can do this? ...simple word...Monopoly! It's put small personal labs out of business and done deals with health conglomerates. Very surprised at how low the rating is here. Excellent service. You can walk-in whenever and check in via the kiosk so you don't have to wait on the health care workers who are helping patients. You are given the option to wait in the car and get a text or in the waiting room. All of the employees are very nice and respectful of your time by being efficient. BIG time waster. Even with some attempts by Quest to manage appointments, walk-ins or with an appointment, it is still a long time to have blood drawn. Every time I need to go there they offer a new excuse why they are running late. Once you are seen it goes at a quicker, acceptable pace. Be prepared, bring a book. read more

I'm actually shocked at how poor the reviews are for this location. Showed up just before 8am when they open and was immediately nervous to be one of about 7 people waiting in line as I'd read the reviews on yelp about their lack of speed. I was however pleasantly surprised to find myself- the last of the 7 ppl. in line- at the front desk at about 8:17 or so. That's quite expedient as far as I'm concerned. I was less enthused about the fact that they do not do TB tests before 2PM for whatever reason, but had I called I'd have known, so I won't dock any points for that. Came back at 2 as the only patient and was out in less than 10 minutes, easily. The woman who helped me was more than pleasant and actually totally painless blood draw- better than my doctors office. I rarely write reviews these days but had to jump on because my visit was actually so great I feel bad for the place being judged so harshly. Perhaps they've restaffed? Per a doctor's order, I went in for some blood tests. I am a frequent fainter and the assigned phlebotomists was very understanding and helpful. She had me lay down to draw my blood and she kept the conversation going, the whole time. I really appreciated the distraction. read more

CHeck this out - I arrived at my appointment time and got in line to use the automated checkin Ipad. The woman in front of me was struggling and had to wait until someone finally came to the front desk to help her. When she finished the next person went, then me. Once I clicked DONE I got a message saying "YOU ARE OVER 10 MINUTES LATE - YOUR APPOINTMENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED AND YOU WILL BE TREATED AS A WALK-IN!!" WTF??? I sat for nearly 40 minutes then left. Unfortunately this is the business model at Quest - the customer always comes last. Please do yourself a huge favor and check out LabCorp on Agoura Road in Agoura Hills. Wish I had read Yelp before I chose this location. Walked in at 4:00 to get a blood test for my son ( who was horribly nervous). Their last appointment was a 3:30 which we couldn't make because he doesn't get out of school in time. Had one person ahead of us and one was in the lab already. We waited 45 minutes just to give the lab orders to them, then waited fifteen more while it was entered into system. Got out of there at 5:10. Dreadful experience, not because it was painful for him, but he had to sit and wait in such a fearful state. I think the biggest problem is there is a staff of ONE. The phlebotomist is also running the reception area. She was very nice and gentle with my son, but I'm hoping we can change locations since he has to be tested every month for six months. Yikes. In a nutshell, try a different location for Quest. read more

I have to say this is one of the worst quests to deal with. We have sent many clients over as it is our closest location. The staff are unruly, unfriendly, unprofessional, and downright rude. I don't understand how people that act like this have jobs. It isn't just 1 bad apple, it's the entire location. Corporate, buy these people a lunch. Appreciate them, maybe us, your clients, will benefit from that. Or maybe you need a new staff better equipped to deal with people. read more

If you do not have insurance or just want to pay cash, DO NOT USE QUEST!!! They jack up the prices 500% for cash patients compared to what they charge Blue Shield, Blue Cross or Medicare. I have Kaiser, wanted a SIMPLE blood test and decided to go to Quest instead of hasseling with my HMO. I was charged $700.00. Since I am a doctor, I decided to see what the allowable rate is for Blue Cross, a mare $140.00. I now send my patients to LAB CORP even if they have insurance. There are plenty of good labs out there that do not rip off the public. read more

This Quest place is absolutely terrible!! Patients used to be able to go to a small lab on the first floor for blood tests. It never took more than 15 minutes from walking in the door, to having all tests completed and walking out the door. But then greedy, incompetent bought out that little lab and closed, forcing all patients to go to their horribly managing lab on the 2nd floor. I walked in and saw 15 people waiting. No human employees check you in. Only once every 20 minutes do any of the unfriendly, uncaring employees stroll past the front desk, only to disdainfully sneer at the waiting mob of people, and then they disappear again. The service is painfully S-L-O-O-O-W !!! I had to spend 90 minutes there before they would see me. There was always a backup of 12-20 people in the waiting room. There's not enough workers here, and the ones they have move as slow as glaciers. I'll never come here again! read more

I was taken care of by one person who checked me in, took my blood, and checked me out. She did an excellent job. I was in and out in 15 minutes. read more
