The only reason I was able to get out in two years because my parents were persistent they wanted to keep me for another seven years before I could leave but that means another seven years of torment pain and suffering. Mr. Rampson was my teacher in the bis staff were very sweet but only if you manipulated them like I did I was only able to do that so I didn't get my head beaten in like the other kids they put us in chokeholds the forces to watch cartoons even though we really were begging to leave some kids got far almost to the mall to call the police or something but they came out and tackled them bring them back to the place and when we begged to go home we could only go home if we threw up with it was a fever I was lucky enough to know how to pull my uvula in force throw up because that's how I left every time I could. The person who found that place is burning in hell and rightfully so every person who is there is terrible. My therapist was rude and mean and you drag kids down the halls bettering each other scraping the last pieces on the floor they could before getting dragged into a session of BIS and when we tried and begged to leave they would just hit us. If you work there I hope you know how much pain and suffering you cause. I now have PTSD because of how much time I spent there and I made this Account so I can expose the lies they made no matter how many " reviews that are pure and happy" exist there are nonekids are almost kept because their parents are too dumb to take them out but if we have that hope and try we can destroy the lies they have an expose this place for the monstrous death circle of hell it is. Please help any kid who goes there and if you don't know them keep them in your prayers...

Went here for high school and I am grateful for all the wonderful opportunities and education I…read morereceived here. Many years later, I still remember many of the lessons my teachers had taught me in math, science, choir, drivers ed, and other subjects. They were always a little tough on grading and pushed a bit harder for critical thinking and understanding rather than memorizing a subject. This came in use for college when many tests consisted of short answer and essay questions instead of simply reciting memorized facts. One of the best parts of going to school here was the robust activities program. From chess to newspaper to choir, there were always plenty of opportunities to enrich ones learning before, during, and after the school day. This was an invaluable way to learn new skills and make new friends while learning from highly qualified mentors. Palatine High School is a great high school that really prepares students well for success later in life.

The education itself is also great, and it has shaped me in a a huge way. This school is also in a great location, right by the Mariano's and also by a fire station just in case. I don't really have any complaints about this school, although I may be a little bit biased... GO PIRATES!!

My son is a student at this school and he loves it. It is a school for "gifted" children and while…read moreI hate that label it is what it is. The school goes from pre K-8th grade which is a great thing since the kids will be in one school until high school. It is a private school so it does cost quite a bit but it really is an exceptional school. Whether or not it's worth the money I can't really say. Personally, I would cringe at the price tag if Einstein himself were teaching my child. They just built a new building this year and it is amazing. So much better than the old building they were in. Lots of room and the capability to have more students, classes and teachers. Some pros: The facility is wonderful, the teachers are great and really care about the kids. Reading and math are based on ability, not on grade. So, if your 5-6 year old is reading like a nine-year old, they will be put in with those readers. The school isn't even "grade" based. there is no "1st grade", etc. It is level based. They have a GREAT fine arts program. Extensive art, music and drama programs that you won't find in a public school. Some cons: There is a bit of an elitist attitude there at times but I think it comes more from parents than the staff. There is a bit of communication problem with the school and the parents. There just doesn't seem to be a cohesive way for parents to get the information they need. If you're considering sending your child here, definitely sign up for a visit and a shadow day. Personally, as long as we can afford it, my son will be going to this school.

I feel more confident and motivated, and I have made some amazing friends. One of the things about SAA that makes it unique is that the fact that you will do as well as the work you put in. As long as you take advantage of the local resources and have some self motivation to do well, it isn't hard to master the schoolwork and beyond. The teachers are willing to help if you are willing to ask, even when it comes down to academics beyond the classroom. For example, when I needed help for my High School application, or improving my SAT scores, my teachers were glad to lend me a hand. Also, I have to give props to the excelled math program that SAA offers. Where I initially did not enjoy math as a subject at all, SAA motivated me to improve my math ability. I eventually became part of the Math Team and found a passion for mathematics. SAA was a great choice for me, and I got a lot out of my experience.

I have had two students go through the preschool program at St. Peter's and it is truly the best of…read morethe best! For the 2 year old students they even have a special outdoor play area with smaller slides and toys for that age group that both of my daughters have enjoyed! Their outdoor space and playground for the prek3 and older students is fantastic too (lots of swings and slides!) and I always felt my kids were getting such a great mix of education as well as fun outdoor time at school. Utilizing sensory bins, painting, motor room, etc. my kids have enjoyed so many fun and educational activities at this school. We have had excellent teachers for the past 4 years we have been here! Even with a child with food allergies I felt very supported by the staff including her in snacks/activities and checking in with me occasionally when needed to make sure she could be included. Even more recently St. Peter has allowed students to bring their own snacks in to accommodate the many food allergies children have nowadays. Ms. Cummins by far has been the best teacher we have ever had. She updates parents daily through the school's app (which not all teachers do!) and I always feel that I know what my child is doing at school by her fantastic communication. Anytime I have questions about something and email her she gets back to me immediately. My family has been so lucky to have her for 2 of our children. She is the most passionate, knowledgeable and caring teacher. Both of my children have learned SO much and grown by being in her class, I will forever be grateful! I would highly recommend this school to anyone in Arlington Heights and the northwest suburbs of Chicago area.

Both my boys had the same 2's teacher since that's how St. Peter does it. We have been so happy and blessed and honestly this teacher is as wonderful as they come. An absolute blessing. I was actually surprised to see another review as we had the exact opposite with that teacher. Mrs. Cummins is honestly a blessing and one of the most amazing teachers. She is the reason we never considered any other option for our second child. She has embraced all the difficulties he has had in this being his first exposure to school. She is openly communicative with all the parents and kids and I can speak for the other moms in the class as well we feel we hit the jackpot with her. When any issues arise she discusses them and works with us to find a solution that best fits our child, us and finally her. Our older son has Mrs. Grissom this year and he is thriving because of her. She treats the kids with kindness, love, and teaches them confidence. My older son was always more nervous in the school settings but she has really helped him blossom. Not only are the preschool teachers amazing but the staff is so incredibly kind and loving. They know your kids by name and ask how everyone is doing. Feeling this level of care has kept us at St. Peter. You can choose anywhere for your child to go but St. Peter has always been accommodating and caring.
