Our usual restaurant was closed and after some investigation, I decided to give Mestizo a try. We were going to use DoorDash but had to call the restaurant to confirm they could accommodate my wife's gluten allergy. It turns out Mestizo's menu is 100% gluten free, no cross contamination to worry about. I found out Mestizo will also deliver independently, so more of my money goes to the restaurant. They made it easy to place and pay for my order, and our food arrived in short order. We have a new regular now! We ordered the al pastor tacos with guacamole and chips, and everything was delicious. The tacos reminded us of the tacos from our favourite resort in Puerto Vallarta -- authentic and fresh, and the guacamole was top notch. We will be ordering from Mestizo from now on for our weekend taco days.
