This was my second time going to Quesa Loco. The atmosphere is dated, but if you're looking for somewhere super casual to go, it's a good option. The staff is super kind and the food is good, but I left wanting a bit more when it comes to flavor. I thought the beans and rice along with several other menu items were overpriced. I'm happy that I decided to listen to the recommendations about this place because it truly lived up to the hype! We went on a Friday evening and I was afraid that there would be a long line but luckily it wasn't that bad. Waited about 20 minutes for my order. They are located in a gas station parking lot which can get a little busy but there's a big open field where you can park. I wish that I would have brought a folding table and chairs to eat by the car. Would have been totally appropriate. I literally wanted to order everything on the menu but I restrained myself..lol. Earlier in the week they had posted about a special flaming hot Cheetos appetizer and I decided to try it. Ummmm...wow! I could have eaten 10 of these! Who would have thought mixing Flaming Hot Cheetos, corn, chamoy, cojita cheese, tajin and lime would be a freaking party in your mouth? We also ordered the Esquite which is basically Mexican street corn in a cup. Yum! Now onto to star of the show, the delicious Birria tacos. When ordering these make sure you order the consome as it does not come with the tacos. Other places I've tried include the consome but for $1.00 extra I wasn't put off by it. The tacos by themselves with lime are delicious and the consome takes it to a different level. I left stuffed and happy and can't wait to return. Check out their Facebook page for operating hours. My first thought is wow! These tacos are slamming! I got the queso chorizo taco with a side of consomme and also chips and queso. The salsa Verde it came with had a nice heat to it but I loved double dipping it with that and the consomme. Then I tried the queso and that was delicious too, probably my favorite out of town and taco, Tijuana Flats, Gringo's, Chuy's. So then I was triple dipping my taco in all 3 and doing the happy dance. The taco itself is not entirely made out of cheese but rather is a fried flour tortilla with melty crispy cheese on the inside and then the fillings of meat and such. It's a good size and you get 3 total which to me, make a nice meal, especially if you have chips and salsa or elote. I'll try that next time for sure. I'm really happy I tried them out thru Uber Eats and will definitely be ordering them again. I think I found my new taco and chips and salsa place! read more

First, the food was great. I got the Platter with chicken and both the size and taste were very good. But the bad part: A lot of reviews mention the prompt service, but I found it to be extremely slow. When we arrived, there were a few people in line in front of us, but there was only 1 cashier taking orders. I don't know if this is by design or just for one night. Then it seemed like people either didn't know what they wanted (even though they had been standing in line for a few minutes) or they needed help understanding what came with each order. Because of this, the line started growing back to the front door. Then we placed our order and were assigned a table. Then we waited and waited for our food. We could see the kitchen making food, but then putting into boxes for to-go orders. Then when we left, the line of customers waiting to order was even longer and past the front door. I don't know if the place was slow or busy or a combination of both. But I guess the end result is that you might want to avoid going at 6:30 on a Saturday evening unless you're prepared to wait. Or better yet- order ahead and pick it up when it's ready. read more

Birria is one of my favorite foods, and this is some of the best birria I have ever tried! We tried the birria quesadilla and the birria torta. Normally, a birria quesadilla is my go-to because of how yummy and cheesy they are. This quesadilla definitely lived up to the hype, BUT the birria torta was insane and bursting with flavor. The torta is definitely a must-try! The service was good and fast. Couldn't complain about a thing. I can't wait to go back and have another torta as well as try some other menu items like the appetizers and the margaritas. They looked so good! This was one of the best tacos I've ever had in Orlando! I got the chicken tacos as well as an esquites to go. When I reheated the tacos they tasted amazing! I've had other tacos in Orlando but the ones here really stand out to me. Finally made it to check out Quesa Loco. Their brick and mortar location hasn't been open long but they've had the food truck for some time now. Their website needs to be updated as it says the restaurant is only for pick up/to-go and no sit down service. I saw photos on social media eating inside so I tried calling to confirm whether sit down was available or not. I tried two different numbers and neither worked. Luckily, they responded to my Instagram message within 30 minutes or so confirming the inside IS open. I checked out the menu beforehand but still didn't know what I wanted. When we arrived there were a couple people ahead of us. We ordered at the counter then were given a number which dictated where we sat. We ended up ordering the esquites with red takis on top, birria quesadilla, birria torta and two Modelo cheladas (20oz cans) rimmed with tajin and I think guava paste (see photo). We had cash so we got a 4% discount, our bill was $47 and change for all of the above. I was shocked at how cheap the cheladas were ($6 before discount) since they were 20oz beers. We got a pineapple and a mango Modelo, both were yummy. By the time we sat down there were 10-12 people in line and the line stayed consistent during our meal. We definitely got there at the right time. Our food came out SUPER fast, several minutes before our drinks even came out. They have little stations with hot sauce, straws and extra utensils. Other than the food runner bringing our food there was no table service which was fine for us. All the food was amazing, my quesadilla was huge, the torta was delicious, the bread had such good flavor and the esquites were flavorful and the takis gave it a nice crunch. Places like this are the kind of places I'm always looking for, amazing food at a fair price. I can't wait to go back! read more

The restaurant was busy and didn't answer when we called in to order, so we went ahead and ordered through the link in Yelp, not knowing the surcharges that are applied through GrubHub. For example - the Birria Quesadilla was $13 at the restaurant, but it was $16 online. And to cap it off, we said we'd like to add a tip but apparently we missed the part where the default was 15% - which is low for delivery or in person - but for pickup?! Again - the food was delicious, which is why they get 5 stars, and we will be back. We just won't be ordering online. read more

I could only devour 1 and a half in one sitting but I was so happy I had another chance to submerge myself in this tasty goodness. The beef was tender and so flavorful. Alright Yelp! This place was FIRE! It was so good! I went with my best friend for taco Tuesday and the food did not disappoint! Here you order your food, then you get seated. We ordered the goods then we were pointed to where we should sit and they will bring our food over. It hadn't even been 5 minutes and the food was out! Crazy fast service! The drinks took a little longer, which I was surprised, usually that comes out first, but really not really much to sweat over when you see these drinks! I had the Quesa Tacos with Asada, and omg! The cheese pull was life! It was flavorful and really hit the spot! My bestie has the Birria Quesadilla and again... wow. It was so good! It was stuffed and worth every penny. Together we shared the Regular Elote and that we delicious. I was getting full off my 3 tacos so I didn't eat too much of it, but definitely worth saving some room for. Now, the DRINKS! The ambience of the establishment was vibrant and colorful. The building provided an upbeat look and it reflected on the staff that was working there. They were having fun while still performing at a great level. They were a no nonsense staff that was also very helpful in explaining the proportions provided on each item. To start my order a bowl of chips was brought out with guacamole on the side. The crisp crunch of the chip hit my mouth with satisfaction and texture. I would say they could have used a little more salt, but overall a good start to my meal. The guacamole was a little chunky (which I prefer) and had a great blend of ingredients that provided flavor and kindness to my tastebuds, complementing the corn chips very nicely. I ordered three quesabirria tacos and they came out FRESH. Steam still sizzling off the meat and bowl of consume they came with. This a quesabirria that checks nearly all the right boxes. The corn shells were firm and crisp. The cheese was plentiful and flavorful, and the complementary lime slices and consume completed the meal. The birria meat itself was okay - cooked well but could have benefitted from a variety of beef like more short rib. They had that suck the words out of your mouth juice to them. Today, my friend and I were craving tacos after a few day drinks. We searched through Yelp and saw some amazing photos of the birria tacos from this place and had to try it out. So we made the 15 minute drive to their brick and mortar location (they have a food truck) and I asked the cashier what her favorite is. She suggested the quesabirria tacos which I obliged ordered two of. Along with the hot Cheetos esquite. The esquite is elote in a cup with hot Cheeto dust on top. We also got the birria fries and churros. The tacos: super tender shredded beef with a rich consume. I would like a little more acid to bring the flavors all together a little better but over all, one of my favorite birria tacos I've had since hunger street tacos. The birria fries were a little over the top for me. The portion was enormous and delicious but by the time I got to them, I was already stuffed from the tacos and esquite. The esquite was probably my favorite part. I'm a sucker for cord and flavorings so the hot Cheetos on top had me scrapping the bottom for every last bite. The churros were also a nice, sweet finish to the meal that curved my post meal sweet cravings. Price 5/5 - Standard prices you'd see at a quality taco venue but the birria at $4 really surprised me as birria tends to be priced more than Peccadillo or chicken tacos. Food 5/5 - Delicious authentic birria. Lots of versions of tacos, bowls, elote and sides. The cooks are definitely experimenting and I like it. read more
