Well it is one of the cheaper retirement homes in the city but there is a reason it is cheaper too!…read more When one looks for placement for their parents they have to consider a lot of things! For one thing the area is rough and the noise at night is bad several drunks have tried to gain entry into this home over the years but have not been successful. The we should look at the training of staff at this location ask for training records of staff which you will find their are not their or up to date! Then the home states it has air conditioning well yes they got a new unit but none or most of the units in those rooms do not work as the pipes need to be cleaned out as it is old the owner does not want to spend the money to complete the work! Then move on to the food here you get powdered milk and potatoes nice if the senior can not determine it go for it but its more of a labour cost then anything! The manager of the home does their education meet the requirements of running a home! For one thing i know people that have worked at this place they are these facts are truth and honest i would demand to see their records and training before putting someone into this place! I know their is likely worse places out here but these things should not happen to the seniors!
