Worst place ever. Nothing but thieving scammers. May year's ago now I pawned my Paul Stanley Kiss…read moreguitar with intent to purchase back because it was a hard time let along how hard it was to attempt to trust places like these. They told me since I was intending to purchase back it wouldn't be displayed and as soon as I had the money I could get it back. Well a month later I had the money and was told I couldn't purchase my guitar back as I'm looking at it on the display wall. These scumbags denied me my right to buy back what was mine. I trusted these thieves with something that was very special to me as my grandfather originally got it for me brand new as a gift. These dirt bags ended up selling it to someone else. I go to the flea market just off Lincoln in St.Catharines and I see my guitar hung up at some biker looking guys booth. You know how I know it's mine? 1 the Paul Stanley signature is faded as I did play the guitar, 2 the bottom right side of the body has a couple dings in it due to my guitar strap letting go and it dropped on the bricks by our fire place in the basement. Asked the guy many times at the booth in the flea market how much? He says $250 lol, no no sir it only cost $134 dollars at the time of purchase at the old Zellers in the Fairview mall. Knkw how I remember that? Because my grandfather and I were the first to be at the doors of the time of release on the release day. To be honest I wonder if the guy at the flea market nows he is holding on to stole property? Not that he would care. This past Sunday we were there again guy told my wife my brother and I about this wallet or purse with spiked knuckles on it. Moral of the story people is to not trust any place like this and especially do not trust any Cash Converters. Snakes, dirty, scummy, thieves, scammers.

I do not recommend this business as it's owner likes to charge exorbitant prices for old, outdated…read moremerchandise. Look elsewhere and don't waste your money.

Almost everything is well worn used beyond typical life cycles (laptops/cameras/GPS etc) and they…read moreprice it as new retail.. Example. One of their many b.s. craigslist ads listed (incorrectly i might add) a Canon 50 mm AF stepping motor (silent motors for auto focus when doing video so the whining motors dont blast thru audio) as a Canon EF 50mm 1.4 USM lens...about $230 new...$75 to $125 used..their quoted price was $150...fair enough...some negotiations on price would prob get it for less..like every pawnshop - Ever... Assured was new in box looking. Then i showed up. Some random woman whom was completely clueless told me shed make some calls and immediately went back to playing candy crish on her phone. I wrote down my number and told them to call me when they found it.. 2 hours later some guy calls me 7 times (i send unknown calls to voicemail due to telemarketing issues) The guy (whom was basically screaming at me) advised he found it. Got him to knock 10 bucks off the price over the phone...figured once i arrived it would be better price in person with cash in hand. So i go there and this man says he has this "new in box canon lens" and hands me a lens in a ziplok bag. I looked at it.. Heres what i was handed; Yongnuo 50 mm lens for canon, non AF. Brand new from B&W photo it costs $38.00 I declined. They were also advertising on craigslist an AlienWare notebook with some shaky specs. It ended up being a 9 year old 5150 series obsolete laptop with a cracked lower bezel and bad battery. A 5 year old 3.5 inch GPS was 45 bucks with no cord. You have been warned... The place is filthy, a mess of piles upon piles of obsolete electronics and the like. All priced well over high new retail. The guy immediately takes offense when you show him actual prices being half or better.. Dont bother.
