Thank you Apartment break in - They sent the corporate response. However, they went a step beyond. They had door armours installed on all the homes at no cost to the residents. This was definitely a step up from anything expected. Fire Alarm - The system apparently malfunctioned and went off in the middle of the night. They sent the response but then called in two different companies to inspect , repair and confirm that this would not happen again. This property has amazed me every step of the way. They listen to what you are saying and your concern. Then the response is quick and is beyond the expectation. We lived in an apartment in Tanglewood. It was a nice complex. However, we had apartment break ins, cars stolen, bicycles stolen, attempted stabbing and nothing was done to improve security or show any empathy toward a resident. They did the corporate response and then basically told you it was your problem and we are not responsible or liable. I hope we all appreciate what we have with Camden Plaza and the team. We are blessed to have such a responsive team. We have noticed and we say thank you Harold Shultz/ Douglas Waiter.

I immediately fell in love with the area with the big oak trees crossing over the streets in the neighborhood. The biggest selling point to me and to be honest the main reason I am now there is the leasing staff that was so friendly and helpful. Maliah and Keyva were the light at the end of the tunnel of looking for apartments for me. They were SO helpful and just a delightful shine when you walk in the lobby. In fact, I went back to see the model about 6 times to measure for furniture and was embarrassed to keep asking but they always had a smile on their face and was happy to show it again for me. I am not the best with computers and had to start an app to pay rent and for maintenance tickets, I could never figure it out, so I came in the office and both Maliah and Keyva dropped what they were doing and got me all fixed up. If you're looking for a clean and beautiful apartment in a great friendly neighborhood, where you can walk to restaurants and clubs, this is your place.

Honestly, if it were remotely affordable for us on our budget, I'd give it five stars. It seems better managed than most of the places around here, the apartments are palaces, it's stunning, it's in a perfect location. Price is off the charts though. Not bad for what you get, but 3 times what we pay (for a crappier place, old and much worse), in the same area.

I think the management here is stellar. They try their best to get things done in a timely manner and are friendly. Polite, friendly, and got their work done! They have a nice pool and hammock area. I truly felt safe here. Cons were the freaking doors would break often, but you get used to it. If I've ever had an issue - the maintenance and management team both respond quickly and resolves any issues with haste and grace. Honestly, I have nothing but great things to say about Keith (Property Manager), Muhammad/Augstin (Valet) and Emmanuel/Aira (Concierge). Too often we take the time to write detailed reviews when something goes wrong but forget to…read morerecognize when something truly exceeds expectations. This is one of those times. After living on the River Walk in downtown San Antonio for 18 years and moving more than a dozen times between downtown properties, we've experienced every kind of move-in imaginable--average, good, bad, and now... exceptional. Our journey to One Park Place started by accident. We made a spontaneous trip to downtown Houston and toured several properties. One invited us back for their White Linen event to meet residents and experience the community firsthand. That evening made our decision easy. From the moment we arrived, the professionalism stood out. The concierge team and Curtis at the front desk welcomed us with a level of service that reminded me of luxury resorts. During the event, another resident told us, "If you want to live at a world-class property, lease here." He couldn't have been more right. As someone who spent more than 30 years in corporate hospitality, I pay attention to service. The event was outstanding, but what impressed me most was the little things. One woman stopped to straighten an entrance mat before we walked through the door. Later we discovered she was Morgan Rivera, the Property Manager. That small moment said everything about the culture here. Three weeks later, we packed up and moved. Thank you, Tamara, for making us feel confident this was the right decision. Your passion for the property was contagious. Now that we've been here for a week, the experience hasn't changed. On move-in day, Danny personally rode with my wife to show her exactly how to get to our parking space after noticing she wasn't sure where to go. That's service you rarely see anymore. Every staff member we've met has introduced themselves and genuinely welcomed us. Richard from maintenance even offered to help carry the rest of our moving boxes after we spent time talking about San Antonio. Terry and the maintenance team have been outstanding, answering questions, checking in on us, and even helping us hang TVs and a projector screen as part of the resident services. After decades of training customer service teams, I can say this isn't something you can fake or simply teach. It's culture. It's leadership. It's hiring people who genuinely care. One Park Place has a beautiful property, incredible amenities, and a fantastic location. But what truly sets it apart is its people. We're excited to call One Park Place home and look forward to this next chapter in Houston. Thank you to the entire team for making us feel welcome from day one.

Great location across from discovery green and in the middle of everything great about downtown Houston. The valet was included in the event participation but I parked offsite. The building is very secure, we had to be escorted via elevator to the party room on the 8th floor. The views were gorgeous and the room was very comfortable with plenty of seating for about 45 people. They had setups for food and drinks and we really enjoyed the facility. It was beautiful even without decorations. There was also a pool on the 8th floor. If you happen to live here, they have many resident activities posted in the elevator. Pretty cool place.

It looks modern, the amenities are nice, the staff is friendly, and the location is hard to beat. I have lived here for 2.5 years, and the reality is different. This place was built 2016-2017 and clearly by the lowest bidder. In the time I have been here, my air conditioner has broken 13 times (really, 13). I've had a major water leak that flooded my closet and left us without some interior doors and drywall for a month. We've been moved out of our apartment for a week for them to do major construction for defects from when the place was built. I average at least one broken thing a month. The grills don't always work, once a month the gym is a sauna. Water leaks from the ceiling. The list goes on and on. The maintenance team is very responsive, but they are hamstrung by management that is more concerned with saving money and doing as little as possible. For example, today the manager told me the AC is not broken, it just doesn't work when it's hot out. Got an issue after hours? Not their problem they will tell you, even though they live here. With all the great apartments being built in this area, it's hard to see what 1 Hermann Place offers that the others don't. Move here if you like to be frustrated. Move somewhere else if you want to come home and not deal with maintenance.

The line staff at the building is wonderful -- from the attentive and caring concierges (Jennifer, Stephen...), to the helpful shuttle driver, Aaron, to the rental agents, Jackie, Crystal and Eysha. The building is lovely and the location is wonderful. But when there was a roof leak that flooded several apartments, after several days of equivocation, it was determined that I needed to move to another unit. I, and all my possessions, were transported to a unit which had never been cleaned of construction dust, and never been made fully ready for occupancy. But rather than try to make things right as soon as possible, the manager, Carrie, deflected responsibility, dragged her feet and made the whole experience pretty miserable. When I left several weeks later, the washing machine had finally been hooked up to water, the dishwasher had also been connected to water supply, the dead circuits in the master bedroom had been activated, and after about a week's delay, the apartment had been cleaned of sheet-rock dust. But the ice-maker was never made functional, Carrie never apologized for any inconvenience, and she remained as supercilious and rude to me as I observed her being to her staff. She spoiled what would otherwise have been a singularly positive experience in Houston.
