The fried chicken speciality is now only half the size, it used to be on a platter with glazed sweet potato slices and fried cashews in the plentiful chilli sauce. Also with three small sides of kimchi, mayo seaweed & fish cake. Then last week FOR THE SAME PRICE it was half the size on a bread& butter plate with minimal only sauce. No cashews or candied sweet potato. And NO sides at all!! Very VERY disappointing and probably the last time we will go there now. We must've eaten there more than a 100 times since they opened as it was our favourite but sadly not by more. End of an era. Even the menu has reduced from a book to a one sided sheet!!! Thank heavens for the Korean 'Thunder Chicken' a few K's up the road. They've been our saving grace. Next we ordered the Kalbi. Which was INCREDIBLE! We got two more orders of it. The meat was so delicious and flavored perfectly. We were also given a bunch of sides that were included. They are an authentic charcoal korean bbq restaurant. They have tons of choices for meat ranging from beef, chicken, pork, etc. The food also comes with a lot of side dishes. The quality is incredible and you can truly taste it. Some of the meat is marinated while others you dip in the provided sauces after cooking. They usually cook the dishes for you, however if its super busy you may need to cook yourself. The customer service is always fantastic and truly one of the reasons I keep coming back.
