I like it mostly for the police blotter type stories which I find interesting and amusing unless it's a serious crime like assault and other felonies which I don't find interesting or amusing but makes me angry as hell. Good local paper to see what's going on in queens and upcoming events that's not usually advertised in local papers or news media outlets. 4.5 stars for good reading material while having breakfast in Astoria on Sundays .

I rate it four stars as local community newspapers as Queens Gazette is hard to local in small communities as Hollis Hills, Richmond Hill, or Ozone Park but residents need to flock to larger populated communities within Queens as Flushing, Forest Hills to obtain a copy of the Gazette. The Queens Gazette often announces events as the Saint Patrick's Day parade in Flushing and in The Rockaways. Membership to subscribers for the internet version is free. The print circulation of the Times Ledger Newspaper is also free. I rate Times Ledger four stars despite it's niche market there are a lot of local events missed out such as Flushing's annual Dragon Boat Festival, Brooklyn's Botantial Garden's Sakura Matsuri, etc.

what memories of the once a week pennysaver flyer mag being dropped by the dozens in buildings…read morelobby. the pennysaver mag was where i could see all the use cars , boats , appliances , bikes , etc , for sale by owner advertised on basically every page , along with the local businesses including the fish market , bakery, butcher shop and even the funeral palor(creepy). it was a free one a week rag but everyone read it just like the daily newspaper. i never purchased a car or boat , or antyhing due to the pennysaver but i did enjoy highlighting which use car i was going to buy for 1500 bucks while only have 5 bucks in my pocket if i was lucky enough. the pennysavers fit in perfectly for that time a bunch of years ago and if i happen to come across one time to time then its just fine and dandy with me.

The books are a bit pricy, but customer services is even worse at this location. I haven't been to other location before. I don't like show to a store last minute, but I have to yesterday before they closed at 6:30 (bc of Holidays). It seems like workers are terrible, because they don't know if they have the stationary in stock in general. I went downstairs to look for what I was looking for. I also have bad knee last two days because health issues... the manager decides to follow me a minute after I got downstairs. Instead of "customer services" she has suggested, she gives me attitude and looks at me to make sure I'm not stealing anything from. I don't see what I needed and decide to leave. I figure I had bad knee, and decide to use elevator. The manager says to me they turn the elevator off already and suggested me to use the staircase to walk p instead of turning on the elevator for me. I won't go to this place ever again.

They've screwed up my ad twice when I was specific with them. Then when you tell them you were upset about the screw up, there is no "im sorry" or any caring customer service whatsoever. They come off very entitled. They are so vague when they respond to you like that don't want to try that hard to help you. That's if they even respond back to your email or voice message.
