As an American visiting Spain, I arrived with chipped, peeling gel nails after a long flight. Most…read moresalons around Sol were fully booked, but my daughter and I came across this small, unassuming shop and welcomed us without an appointment. While they didn't offer chrome, the color options were lovely, and they did an absolutely fantastic job. To my surprise, the manicure cost just 21 euros for my 10-year-old daughter and me-- the quality is incredible. It's been three weeks, and my nails still look flawless--no chips or peeling, which has never happened with even the most expensive (close to 100$!) manicures I've had in the U.S. This place is quick, efficient, and delivers amazing results. No frills or spa extras, but if you care about long-lasting, beautiful nails at an unbeatable price, don't hesitate!

I asked for a mani pedi and apologized for not speaking Spanish. We started with the manicure and…read morethe lady was very rough and filed my skin. We moved to the pedicure area and she continued with painting my finger nails, pulling me in a position that hurt my back. I fortunately I didn't like the color and asked to change, I apologized, but she got mad and was yelling while repainting my nails in the new color. She also complained out loud in front of other customers that I don't speak Spanish. I am a tourist and that should not be surprising, especially that I apologized many time. When we were doing my pedicure she continued to be tough and unpleasant, and complain about water splashing when I put my foot back in water. My nail color is uneven and looks like I painted my nails myself instead of with a professional.

Had a fabulous experience at this classy Essie nail bar…read more Why? I called and spoke to a lovey woman who reserved a spot for me for a manicure one hour later, all in a very elegant English! The salon is spic and span and very relaxed, so much so that I wanted to nap throughout my entire manicure. The manicure seat is full of soft pillows and bright colors, very chic and plush. The manicurist was super sweet and did a fantastic job, communicated as best she could in English or just simple hand movements. My mani included a lovely hand scrub with warm water rinsing and massage. They have all of the latest and greatest colors from Essie, as it's an Essie sponsored spa! All of the above for the very nice price of 20E

Just plain awful. I think it's a shame that this is the only Essie spa in the world (according to…read morethe nail techs!), and they run their shop the way they do. Don't get me wrong, it's beautiful, they have all a wonderful color selection. The decor is cute, and they are super friendly - until it's time to pay the bill. All of a sudden, my friend and I who had the same services done simultaneously got charged different prices. The woman at the register claimed they'd done some extra services for one of us. She wasn't even clear which of us had received the extra services. We started and ended our mani pedis at the same time, so it's really not even possible. I think she's the owner, and she was not the one to check us in. My friend speaks fluent Spanish, so it wasn't a language issue; although perhaps she was trying to scam the American tourists. Avoid this place at all costs!
