I wasn't able to be in town but scheduled a hair ‍and makeup appointment at The Esthetic Center. I am an old high school friend of the owner Luisabel and in high school she would always do our hair and makeup before we'd go out. She is passionate about everything esthetic-makeup and hair included. I just knew my niece would be in good hands this afternoon as she prepped for her prom debut. Prom is a huge rite of passage for many young adults and I wanted my niece to have fun and look her best. Well, mission accomplished all thanks to The Esthetic Center. After each one was only able to remove small pieces of it, sadly it was still there. It affected my self esteem as it was very visible and people would often point it out and tell me it looked like I was getting a stye. I went to the esthetic center and the entire process was quick and painless. They numbed my eyelid prior to removal and the removal worked. I came in without an appointment and was told there were no openings until 3:30. I then asked if they could just remove my liquid gel, and I was told yes. Unfortunately, it went downhill from there. The technician removing my gel nails cut my fingers twice during the process. Not once did he apologize. Instead, he simply pulled my hand forward and continued as if nothing happened, which was uncomfortable and unacceptable. To make matters worse, the front desk experience was shockingly unprofessional. The person working the desk was more focused on discussing her SATs and not getting into FGCU than on the customers in front of her- customers who were paying and clearly having a poor experience. Overall, this was careless, unprofessional, and honestly awful. New management or not, basic customer service and safety were clearly lacking. Check out the photo of my nails after "service" was rendered. They were left beaten up, sore, and in worse condition than when I arrived. Do not recommend.

First of all, she is a little pricier than a typical lash lift, not just because it's Yumi but because her attention to detail, level of care, knowledge, and experience exceed expectations, so it is 100% worth it. My lashes look so stunning; I can tell this is going to last. Agata's suite is clean, relaxing, and so cozy. She is a great person who cares deeply about her clients.
