The Queen Inn is a pleasant enough pub on the outskirts of Ormskirk, sat opposite the Greyhound Inn (probably somewhat annoyingly for the owners).
The pub itself is fairly large and has a traditional pub look to it from the outside. Inside, it is fairly spacious and continues this quite traditional look whilst not looking too dated (I suppose you can get away with it in pubs anyway though). The range of draught lagers and ales is decent enough without being anything special and their prices are very reasonable for the area. The staff there are friendly enough and attentive, creating a pleasant atmosphere for all drinkers. There are also a few plasma TVs littering the walls, making the Queen Inn a very decent place to watch the match if you fancy somewhere a bit quieter.
