I came in for a specific concern that Dr. Nowicky spent ONE minute talking AT me (not talking to…read moreme, talking at me) about, before promptly telling me I had inflamed skin and acne (not what I came in for). Being a young woman, I am sensitive and insecure about the skin on my face, it was not a pleasant experience to have a doctor take one look at me and tell me I have bad acne. I asked if we could go back to discuss the subject I came in for and he immediately shut me down saying he had gone over all the possibilities (I can understand if there's nothing that can be done, but I had not been given a chance to ask questions or discuss history, etc). After being told I had flaky skin and acne, Dr. Nowicky continued to talk down to me as if I was stupid and again did not let me discuss my current skin care routine or other practices. In fact, he WRONGLY assumed I was using "witch hazel, boutique skin care, essential oils, and aloe vera." He did not let me talk about my skin or voice concerns at all, and he was extremely condescending. Terrible bedside manner, I felt rushed and as if I was a stupid waste of his time. I am a 21 y/o female at the appointment by myself, I felt extremely patronized because of my age and gender. Flustered, I began to tear up and he showed absolutely no compassion as the tears rolled down my cheeks. I was given a generic skincare routine (again, NOT what I came for) and he left me in the room to "compose myself." The ONLY positive part of my experience was one of the nurses came in after to offer me comfort and advice. Furthermore, my prescription was never sent to the pharmacy.

I can not say enough good things about Dr. Bharti & team…read more I can not say enough good things about Dr. Bharti & team. I came to Dr. B with 17 year old saline implants & concerns of possible BII. I had an autoimmune antibody number and systemic inflammation that equaled about 7-10 lbs on the scale, and being in the functional medicine field, I did everything I knew to help my body with its health. Of course I was apprehensive to removing the implants, and spoke to Dr. B about doing an explant capsulectomy w/ replacing the saline implants first, to see if it helped my issues. He thought this was a logical option, and, if it didn't correct my issues within the first year, he said we could then do an explant w/ fat transfer. I thought this was a great solution! My surgery on 9/1/2021 was a success. The whole team was amazing, nice, and made me feel at ease. 10 days after my surgery was when the trouble began. I knew I was in pain, and unbeknownst to me, I had a fast bleeding hematoma in the right breast. When I called Dr. B's nurses, they asked me send pictures and called me back to tell me to get into the office ASAP. They stayed on the phone with me while my husband rushed me to their office. I was in terrible amounts of pain by the time we got to the car. Once at the office, Dr. B had me put under and opened up within 5 minutes of arriving to their Huntersville location. It was super scary! He reopened the right side scar, removed the implant, fixed the artery that was bleeding and put me back together. Dr. B thanked my husband for getting me there so quickly. He explained to us that a hematoma can happen for unknown reasons, and the key is getting it found and cauterized ASAP. That was a traumatic situation, and it took me a bit to heal from that. Dr. B wanted to see me 2 times a week and he took lots of extra time with me and my husband. All was going along fine, and 10 days later, my left side had a slow bleeding hematoma. Dr. B had to reopen me back up on the left side to cauterize the slow bleeding vein, then sew me back up again. This one was not scary, because it was slowly bleeding. The recovery from this one was easier, however, due to my sensitive situation, Dr. B had me coming into the office every week to see him for follow ups. At this point, I was becoming good friends with all of the staff and sent Dr. B & team flowers for taking such good care of me during my unusual recovery. Even though my experience was unorthodox, Dr. B made it right and treated me extremely well during all of this. He just wanted to make sure I was okay and my surgery would be a success. He truly shows his care for you as a human, not just a patient. Which is hard to come by. Why did I have two hematoma bleeds you ask? After doing my own studies, I do believe it has to do with having a severe case of Covid 4 weeks prior to surgery. Covid can make your veins "seep blood". My advice, wait at least 6 months after having Covid to have a surgery. As far as my results... My scars have been cut out and restitched 2 times on each side. Dr. B's work is incredible! The placement of the scar is perfect and his stitch work is highly skilled. My autoimmune number has been cut in 1/2! And ...up to this point this is the first real movement I have had in 5 years since tracking this number. My inflammation also seems to have reduced as well, which is great news! I am super happy with my new implants and the work Dr. Bharti has done to help me with this whole experience! From how he treats you as a human (not just a patient) to the highly skilled work he performs - I would recommend Dr. Bharti to anyone.

The asymmetry alone was enough to break my heart every time I looked in the mirror. Add to that nerve damage/synkinesis, not pretty. I have researched options to lessen the disfigurement and met with MANY doctors (so many doctors). I was preparing to travel to California to meet with two doctors there. One blessed night I searched in Charlotte one more time. I found Dr. Kulbersh and Carolina Facial Plastics. The CFP team are a fantastic group of professionals. I have never experienced such amazing responsiveness from any medical professional as I have with Carolina Facial Plastics. They know their business. It is very apparent that Dr. Kulbersh invests in technology, education, equipment and, most importantly, his team to bring the best possible results to his patients. Dr. Capizzi review I just had my surgery done by Dr. Capizzi…read moreon Tuesday, January 24th. I interviewed another top plastic surgeon in the area who didn't give me any of the innovative ideas that Dr. Capizzi recommended for the best outcome possible. These products include the Sientra / 'gummy bear' implants to replace my old silicone ones. These Sientra implants are the safest implants available on the market, and they have a 20-year and up to a lifetime guarantee. They have the least complications of any implant on the market, including for ruptures or capasculsr contraction and other complications. These Sientra implants have a more cohesive gel that does not leak like other typical implants (imagine cutting a gummy bear in half and you have two solid pieces that are still intact- this is what happens with this particular type of gel implant). Dr. Capizzi also inserted a dissolvable mesh support at the bottom of my breast to make sure that the stays in place and also to stops drooping due to gravity / aging, which hopefully, means that this will be my last surgery. I am a 54 years old and this will be my third implant revision and, hopefully, the last one! Although my breasts are still sore and tender and the scars are healing, I already feel much better at day 6 then I felt with the other two surgeries at 2 weeks! I told Dr. Capizzi that he had 'carte blanche' to do whatever was necessary on the operating table to achieve the best possible outcome, and I actually went down a size because the larger implants that were similar in size to what I had previously did not give him the desired results that he wanted- and that he knew that I wanted. I am 100 percent confident that my breasts are going to be absolutely gorgeous once the swelling goes down and the scars heal, I can already tell they're going to be beautiful, fully supported, and nice and perky. The other thing that I asked him to do when doing the implant switch out and breast lift, was I wanted my nipples to be smaller and even, which has bugged me my entire life and has also now been corrected and I am absolutely thrilled about! I wanted a more full implant at the top with a little bit better cleavage so I chose the 'Bombshell' implant, which is the latest and greatest gummy bear implant available. It's a little fuller than the other available gummy bear implants, but they still feel nice and soft. Dr. Capizzi and his team will go over all of your options with you at your initial visit, with no pressure to go one way or the other, He'll show you pictures on a large screen of different women with various different types of implants, so you'll be able to see not only his past work but make notes of which ones you like and the look that you want to achieve along with him also taking copious notes on what your personal objectives are. His entire team is truly amazing- very professional and very caring- from Amy who will help you with pricing and scheduling, to Megan, who was my nurse, Plus the wonderful young woman that did my first post operative lymphatic drainage ultrasound, which was at day three (at my first post operative appointment, where they check to make sure everything is looking good and is healing properly). At that appointment, they also take off the Steri strips and fit you with a post-surgical bra, which, I believe, was designed by Dr. Capizzi himself+ it's so much more supportive than the old, traditional white cotton bras I was sent home before. Dr. Capizzi specializes in breast surgery, even very difficult cases like mine, I have very dense, fibro cystic breasts and I have very thin skin, on top of that- but he took it all in stride and wasn't phased by any of that in the least, I am 100% positive that he was the absolute best option as compared to any other surgeon. In fact, I have three friends that are currently exploring breast surgery, and I will be definitely referring them to Dr. Capizzi! Last but not least, Dr. Capizzi was recommended to me not only by multiple friends of mine as their Doctor, but he was also recommended to him by another plastic surgeon when asking for his recommendation for the best Surgeon for breasts. This retired plastic Surgeon from Charlotte said 'if you need your breast done, you need to talk to Dr. Capizzi, he is the absolute best at what he does and if this was for my wife or daughter, that's definitely where Iwould take them'. Another note is that the other plastic surgeon that I talked to, who was also very highly venerated and with over 40 years of experience, did not offer up any of the innovative ideas or products like the gummy bear implants or the dissolvable mesh to support the implant, He also did not offer lymphatic drainage ultrasounds or any other things that Dr. Capizzi automatically includes with his surgeries to flatten out the scars and to give his patients the best results. If you are considering any procedure that can be performed by a plastic surgeon, go here first!

I went in for a breast reduction. I had an augmentation with silicone implants many many years…read morebefore. The plan was to remove the old implants, reduce the size significantly but place in a gummy bear implant as well as a mesh lift. Also part of the plan was to do Lipo around the bra area to reduce total circumference size for the entire breast area. I came out of surgery feeling swollen for several weeks so it wasn't until weeks in that I noticed that I still couldn't lower my arms because of what seemed to be a large lump of breast tissue under the armpit area, creating what looked like another small breast. Not only was it uncomfortable, but just truly embarrassing look and not at all what I paid for. My breast area not symmetrical in the fact that they look more like a blob that a round shaped breast. I pitched an absolute fit, cried and had decided I would get a lawyer if he didn't go back in and remove that under armpit tissue that wasn't there before the first surgery. So at that point I went back under the knife for round two and came out with scars that now go up my back and I can never wear anything strapless straight across my back due to the incision areas showing. All in all it's been well over a year later and I still cry all the time at how I look. I am one of those people that feel like you get what you pay for. But in this situation, I paid way more than any of my friends did going to other surgeons in the Lake Norman area and I ended up with the most botched job of any of them. All of my friends have had major success stories, and I am still sitting over here sick to my stomach that I spent hard earned money and I'm still so unhappy with the way I look.
